Controversial EliteXC fighter Charles “Krazy Horse” Bennett has run afoul of the law once again — he was arrested for a domestic dispute on Monday, according to ProElite.com.
Bennett will be arraigned on Tuesday, January 22.
This is just the latest transgression for Krazy Horse — the same man who claims to have knocked out Wanderlei Silva backstage at a Pride FC New Year’s Eve show in 2005. He was convicted in Marion County, Fla., for possession and sale of cocaine on August 4, 2000. And he was arrested on charges of assault and false imprisonment in May 2007.
To check out a video montage of all his mug shots click here — it’s rather ridiculous.
Krazy Horse’s latest run in with the law will cause him to miss his upcoming match against Victor Valenzuela at a King of the Cage show in Highland, Calif., on January 24.
Bennett had previously fought Valenzuela twice. He most recently lost in the first round from strikes at an EliteXC show in August 2007. And the pair fought to a draw at a King of the Cage show back in August 2005.
Matt “Warlock” Ver Halen will replace Bennett on the card.

Has a third-party besides Krazy Horse ever corroborated his knockout of Silva? I find that hard to believe. Bennett is like a 150-pound crackhead.
Krazy Horse may be a thug, but he had some very memorable fights in Pride. One being against Prides lightweight champ Takonori Gomi. This was a see-saw battle and VERY fast paced and exciting. Awsome body slams and much more. He could have had Gomi and the belt… very good fight.
He can make Rob Emerson his bitch in prison.
Bennett should fight Leonard “Bad Boy” Garcia!
This guy is a scumbag. He will be dead in 2 years.
who cares at this point?

I disagree. He would have already been dead or in jail for life if he never found MMA. MMA has really saved KrazyHorse from himself. Although, he still acts up here and there…
I think that EliteXC should have kept KrazyHorse, I didn’t even know that they dropped him. Or is he not dropped, but is fighting in King of the Cage anyways…
In the first ever EliteXC fight, KrazyHorse KO’d KJ Noons. Currently, Noons is the EliteXC champ. Noons won the belt by defeating Nick Diaz.
James Iannotti - some clarifaction please?
i though the other crazy horse the texas one knocked out Silva at a backstage didnt he say something like that that some dude chocked him out and when he woke up the first person he saw was wandy and he knocked himout.

He’s still under EliteXC. EliteXC was is one of the main sponsers for the King of the Cage show on January 24 (kingofthecage.com…look at the banner for the show, on the bottom right you’ll see the EliteXC logo). They do a lot of cross promotion shows with other orgs.
And yes you’re right Krazy Horse is the only guy to hold a win over LW champ KJ Noons since his return to mma in 2005. You’ll see more of Krazy Horse for sure, he’s a big draw for them.

Correct me if I’m wrong but Pro Elite went on a shopping spree and I think acquired King of the Cage.

I always thought that Charles was an entertaining fighter and a good KO artist. He was a part of some good Pride Bushido matches. I would like to see him fight Jens at 145 lb weight
hey melvin, take a look, this will be you in a couple years if you don’t get your act together.

Oh maybe, I havent kept up on that, after his last win in his debut fight in WEC, I havent heard anything, if you heard he is gonna fight Urijah, your probably right, didn’t know that, that’s some good news though.

yes he’s next in line for Faber, Faber said so himself after his last win. i’d imagine it will be in 6 months since the WEC seems have shows every 3 months.

I heard it, but I dont think it was ever made official. At some point its inevitable, especially since Jens just won his WEC debut against a tough young cub swanson. Also Jens is one of the most accomplished and Bigger named fighters in the UFC and a fight between Jens vs. Urijah would be a huge draw for a WEC card. It will happen, probably with in the next 6 months
we need more ppl like krazyhorse, hes a great entertainer and fighter with ko capability at any time
He can make Rob Emerson his bitch in prison.
lol
we need more ppl like krazyhorse, hes a great entertainer and fighter with ko capability at any time
maybe we need more fighters like him… but we dont need any more people like him. I want 2 see a fighter in the news because he won. not cause hes in jail!!
he has the chance to be a great fighter but it’s up to him to accept the responsibility it takes to be a great fighter. he ain’t afraid to be himself and that’s what kicks ass about him. he needs a rematch with noons cuz he whooped him last time. as long as he stays in trouble the sport will be short a ‘Krazy Horse’.
Krazy Horse has some issues that he needs to take care of before he is unable to fight ever again. If he goes to prison, he can fight to defend himself, but he will also be defending his manhood. Charles stated in an interveiw that fighting keeps him out of trouble. All that I can say is that he needs to move his life in a positive direction so that his career can move forward. He says that he wants to be an actor. If he wants to go that route, he needs to stay out of trouble. I wish him the best of luck in the near future.
