Minus the Penn-Stevenson fight, I’m actually looking more forward to this card than UFC 80.

From this very site: http://mmamania.com/2007/04/30/report-burkman-and-baroni-brawl-in-a-bar/ This one is a grab-ass incident, but there are other links in the comments section to other sordid bar/spitting incidents involving Burkman.

Right? It’s a bit strange to have the oppoenents co-hosting the afterparty. I mean, I could understand if it was 2 of the “AKA Boys” fighting each other, but what is this all about?

The flyer’s confusing, but I think it’s Burkman hosting the party….that is, if he wakes up ;)

If they are co-hosting it’s really not that unusual, provided there isn’t some Guillard-Clementi level of animosity between them going into the fight. I play rugby, and after beating the crap out of each other for 80 minutes, everybody shakes hands and the home takes the visiting team for a post-match party with food and beer.

Burkman is a piece of shit and I’d be surprised if Swick would even stoop to the level of being at the same place as this tool. He is a bad name for the sport, arrogant, cocky, and really has nothing to be cocky about. Its nice that he thinks he deserves a title shot after losing to Fitch and Karo but should somehow still jump ahead of them however he is so far in his own world that it wouldn’t matter. I personally love the picture of him crying after Fitch lit him up!

I’m not saying that you need to hate each other to have seperate after parties, I’m saying that a joint after party is not the norm. I am trying to think of another instance where this happened in the UFC, I’m sure it has, just can’t think of it.
