I don’t know what the big deal is. Chuck stated quite clearly in his post fight interveiw, his reason for taking Wandy down. By showing you can take a guy down ,gives him more to worry about defensively and OPENS up striking opportunities. Randy was able to light Sylvia up more than AA was for this reason alone.

I agree. Chuck was in survival mode toward the end because he knew he had it wrapped up.

It pisses me off when I hear all his post-fight interviews like “the fight went the way I wanted it to, but it would have been nice to get the knockout.”

horsesh** If you didn’t notice, Wandy was bleeding all over the canvass. His face was beat in. I have respect for Silva,he was barely standing when it was over. A simple jab from Chuck probably would have layed him down. Silva took more hits from Liddell than anyone I’ve personally seen. He was dominated standing up and on the ground. As far as “smart fans” go, the only thing Chuck didn’t capitalize on was the knock out. He was sharp in every other respect

Bullfighter 3- You are an idiot. The fight game is more than just slugging it out. Chuck shows he developed as a fighter, dominated on the fight and put the icing on the cake as well as the whole thing to bed with some takedowns. Nobody gets mad when Koscheck does this for three rounds to ink a decision, but if Chuck does this for 20 seconds, he is a “pussy”. I am not even a Chuck fan and was rooting for Wandi, but hats off to him for a dominating performance. Even Wandi gave him props. Go grow a brain and start using it before you blog next time, douchey.
