Why does everyone subconsciously want the white guy to when all the time and act like Anderson is not the most dominating force in MMA? THe only way you guys would go for the brazilian is if they put a African American in front of him or you just wouldnt watch at all. Stop lying and trying to convince yourself otherwise…Silva is the best…oh yeah(karate kid)! Time and time again he is on top. He beat Franklin up overwhelming to the point that a rematch would be a joke and people still doubted Silva. If he beat God people would say that his next opponent has a good chance of winning! He can never prove himself to the doubters. So what he doesnt speak english this a WORLD class sport so drop the superiority complex. He is the most exciting MM Artist to watch and he is a great and gracious champ. He is a machine. He is deceiving in stature (constantly presenting a david and goliathesque bout).He is Maximus Decimus Meridius of the 21st century. ‘Are you not entertained?’ He is a smart tenacious fearless unstoppable fighter? He has tools that are light years ahead of his competitors. Don’t you see him playing with his opponents in the ring? Have you seen him when someone gets a good shot on him? He sees RED after that!! My only advice is to join now and hate later. He cant be stopped.

We all have our opinions on Dan & Anderson, Heres mine. I totally believe Dan won’t get out of round 3. The best striker in the world is gonna wreck Dan too.Plus I’m pretty sure the Nogeira brothers are’nt just giving out those black belts.Jab jab jab….BOOM. Now Dans hurt, We all know how much slack Anderson gives when he sees you hurt.I know Dans never been KO’d, But Anderson is a completely different animal.I know Dan KO’d Wanderlai Silva, But the only thing Anderson and Wanderlai have in common is that they came from Chute box. Thats it!!! Dan says he wants to clinch with Anderson, We’ll see how he does when Anderson has that plumb grip around his head and the knees start coming!. Go get em CHAMP!!!

John, this morning my yahoo messanger screen at work said something about “The Wire”. I totally forgot that ‘The Wire’ started back up last night. I immediately put a reminder in my cell phone to look for it and record it when I get home. Then again, it will be On Demand starting today… Last night I was out until like midnight, and when I ruhsed out of the house, I set the DVR for the “I Love New York” reunion show and American Gladiators. We watched NY when we got home, havent watched Gladiators yet.[/quote]

I love New York reunion was GREAT. Good ol fashion trashy American TV….and I have to admit I loved every second of it.
The WIRE was a pretty uneventful episode but next weeks episode looks to be awesome.

Oh, that reminds me of something. LOST is starting back up on January 31st, but due to the writers strike, there are only going to be 8 episodes. John, do you watch Lost?

Also, the only Law and Order I watch is SVU, and new episodes of that return tonight!

I really hope that TO doesn’t play and Romo feels the playoff pressure. My main concern is that I don’t know how many consecutive great games Eli has in him. That is 2 great games in a row already (Pats and Bucs). He still needs 2 more near perfect games to make it to the SuperBowl and rematch the Patriots.

Umm first off how can you compare anderson silvas straight beautifullly technical striking with vanderlais brawling style of muay thai.???

Not even close to comparison..anderson is more accurate and travis lutter is a lot more technical than dan ever will be with his submissions and groundwork. the clinch is where alo of this fight will probly happen but i dont see it being a fun experience for henderson….i see him getting cut up and beaten on.

I can’t see Dan loosing, exept maybe if Silva carries a gun in the octagon.Henderson’s chin is second to none, his strenght is amazing and his wrestling can compare only to Randy’s greco roman skills.He beat a sick Wanderlei Silva, which is as good as beating a healthy Anderson Silva[ yes i am saying Wandy is better than Anderson].Come on, Travis Lutter had him before switching for that silly armbar.This is a sure bet.
