He WAS great for his time, like someone else said, when fighters were primarily trained in one discipline. But the sport has evolved past him now. And I don’t really care about his losses, it’s no shame to lose to Chuck and Randy. But who the hell has he beaten during that time? A washed-up Ken Shamrock? Tito said that Ken passed him the torch. I am a big fan of tito and love to watch him fight,however from seeing that video i can see he is no longer really interested in fighting and wants to pursue a career in film,my guess is after he has the last fight in his contract in june,that will be the last time we see him in the octagon.

According to MMA Agent Ken Pavia, the UFC has informed him that two of his have fighters, Richie Hightower and Jordan Radev, been dropped from the UFC promotion.

UFC matchmaker Joe Silva explains:

The day needed a pick-me-up so I called UFC matchmaker Joe Silva to check the progress of my guys’ fights. He said he was still working on it but then informed me they would be releasing two of them, Jordan Radev and Richie Hightower.

Regardless if Tito’s heart isn’t in MMA anymore, there is no need for all the odium. He has and will continue to do a lot for this sport. He has done a better job then anyone else on TUF. He has done idyllic job of marketing for himself and the sport. He might or might not be “out dated” but he warrants more respect then what all your obtuse MMA fans are giving him. You can’t fight forever and while he is “in” he is going to cash in, just like anyone else would do.

Tito is not the star of the UFC but an icon within it. I too, wasn’t much of a Tito fan until I saw how good of a coach he was on the Ultimate fighter. Since then, I’ve changed my views and realized that his whole persona (bad guy image) was for marketability reasons. Get off this guys nuts, he’s done more for the UFC then most.

Tito is no longer a fighter. He’s only lost a few fights in the last 5 years because he hasn’t fought anybody. And were it not for some dubious judging his list of losses would be a lot longer. He beat Shamrock’s geriatric ass three times. So what. By rights should have lost to Forrest, cheated his way to a draw against Rashad and then backed out of a rematch. He runs his mouth to draw attention to the few fights he has because he is not compelling enough as a fighter to garner any interest. As far as Jenna goes, when you say she “mite have taken a few dicks in her day” I think what you really mean is “she took several dicks per day for a decade, her odometer done rolled over, and there ain’t no tread left on that tire.”

Yeah Sure.

Tito has been so lucky throughout his career. If he wasnt the poster boy for UFC he would have lost that decision to Wandy. His draw against Rashad should have been a loss if he didnt grab onto the fence so many times. His win over Forrest should have been a draw. The only thing he invented in the UFC was how to get spanked by a fighter in the middle of a main event (against Couture) and cry after fights lost.

Tito had a great career with some devastating wins in his early UFC career as champion(And he whipped W. Silva’s ass when they fought back in UFC 25). Anyway yes he is no longer a title contender and has a big ego but so what? He makes a lot of money and seems to be happy with himself. Good for him. I’m not a huge Tito fan but I don’t get the hate he gets.
