I thought Bispings opponent progression was natural during his first few fights. After all you should not throw them to the wolves just because the won a TV show. I thought he was competing against guys at his skill level at the time, and was progressing to more difficult fighters, eventually securing a fight against a top 10 (UFC Rating not mine)LHW. Now he drops where he should have an advantage in size and strength, and they give him a gimme. Very lame. He should be fighting a top 10 MW. Still a fan of his, but this fight on paper is way too one sided.

Listen i respect you for liking Bisping BUT, as much as i think he will be athreat for the title, there are many bad match ups in the 185 weight class for him.

I think it’s a bit optimistic to say he will destroy the rest of the division outside of Dan and Anderson. I am not saying he won’t have any success, but he’s not going to walk through Leben, Grove, Martin, Herman, Lutter, J-Mac and Tanner. He’s certainly not ready to fight Rich Franklin. I would like to see him face Terry Martin next. Bisping’s technique vs. Martin’s power would be interesting.

Cool enough, we all have our views - and I am very optimistic about Bispings chances. You’re right, he will find some competitive fights in the 185ib division - and he will be in tough if/when he faces the likes of Silva, Hendo, Lindland. I can’t see any of the guys you mentioned (other than Leben or mabye Lutter, and defintely Franklin) actually giving him a fight. He faught a world class wrestler (Evans), who carries some heavy hands, and he was never in jepardy…None of the guys he’ll be fighting now will be near as strong as Evans was…

If Bisping was robbed in the evans fight..then Matt Hammil was Car jacked and shot by the judges in their fight. If Dana considers ” Bisping ” to be these top10??? lhw..when dropping down to 185..why is he set up to fight Charles..he doesn’t choose his opponents?? He will go on camera and say how good Charles is and he is a dangerous opponent..all tha tjumbo talk..but he knows he got a freebee..I saw his true colors when he got manhandled by Hammil in every rounf of their fight..to turn around and talk all that gack..even Goldberg and Rogan during the fight gave it to Hammil..but Joe was feeling to femmine interview him afterwards..not like he did with Gray Manard..Michael is a good MMA fighter..but lightyears from being great..and not what the UFC paints him as.

Pete Sell is one tuff Mofo..win or lose puts on a show and leaves everything he has in the cage..I would love to see Bisping fight Pete Sell..IMO Pete would be a dangerous opponent for the Brit..remember he beat Charles McCarthy on the TUF 4..so Bisping fighting Charles now says alot about how good Bisping is right.
