Isn’t kindof weird you have heard anything from Chuck or John on how things are going. No interviews, no comments about training, etc…I think Chuck will be more focused this fight, but I still think he will be a step to slow to counter Wandy aggression.
If it’s anything like his interviews or 1 sentence comments from an interview this book will be a dud. Well then again he’s not writing it…some pencil pushing nerd who’s been following him for a few months is. Either way I’ll pick it up. Does anybody think Wandy tapped that ass of Ms. Leah while doing the TV segment???
I hope Chuck beats Wandy, not his biggest fan but he is so good for the sport and i can see him retiring if he looses.

if chuck is unable to connect his counter punches, it will be his worst KO because wandy is for sure going to be the aggressor here.

Thats my point, Chuck lost his last two because neither Jardine or Rampage played into his hands by marching forward like Babalu, Randy or even Tito.
Don’t get me wrong i think this is a massivly dangerous fight for Chuck but also its the best time to catch Wandy (after 2 losses and years since he fought in a cage).

i think wandy should look at the jardine blupreint on how to beat chuck and use alot of leg kicks. i dont think muay tai knees to the head are going to work. i think wandi has the slight edge buy training w/ team couture. nothing against chutebox but i think he needed a change. chuck always says if it aint broke don’t fix it. well it’s broke and it dosen’t seem chuck is changing anything.

nono when he ducks and weaves away from punches he is very hard to hit and on the other hand he connects with devastation. if he stands infront of wandy like he did with rampage and jardine he will loose he needs to move around how he did with couture or tito, but look what happens when you chace liddell with agression the opponent goes to sleep every time, rampage was one shot that was landed perfectly but, after a mistake from liddell and the jardine fight was more of one punch one leg kick, chuck could of easily changed his plan and won that fight
im starting to get pissed. all thees fighter making books befor the career is done… man that pisses me off so much.. .. i wanna read about the hole carreer .. not 3/4 of it….looks like they will need to make a second book for him.. he says he wants the belt back..he aint geting it.. im not a chuck hatter but the guy is doing anything to make a dollar now.. you will see that when he fights wandy..the ice melted…

W silva will put chuck in tai clinch grip from hell and drive devastating knees into that soft belly, chuck will go down in agony and silva will mount and pound him out, calling it now

You obviously havent seen chucks clinch defence, it looks pretty good to me and he counters with punches elbows and kicks, all of which make it a dangerous place for wandi.

A little off topic but I think the UFC has done a pretty good job thus far drug testing their fighters. Seeing all the people on this George Mitchell Report I hope the UFC doesn’t ever let their orginization get filled with people that use performance enhancing drugs like the MLB. It is kind of hard to tell who has true talent and who doesn’t because baseball is so full of this garbage.
I sure hope he didn’t write it himself, or it will be the most boring book in existence. I think Chuck’s input could only hurt him at this point.
I think Chucky takes this one first round via pass out due to too much hot air from all the sh!t talking from the pride till I die fans!

I hope this is not the only thing resulting from Chuck Lidell sitting down with that “famous” life coach guru…..
I believe this December 29 fight will be the most important fight of Chuck´s career. true, big words,since he´s “only” lost 2 in a row, but we´re in MMA,not boxing, where losses can set you back much further and cost you a lot in terms of fans. Chuck is one of the all-time greats, so a true MMA fan is not affected by his losses, but he´s only started to pop up on the big screen nationally in Men´s Health and commercials, so he couldnt have picked a worse time to start losing.
Dana/ Silva are smart to pull this big fight out now, and promote Wandy like crazy instead of Chuck, because defeating the highly publicized Wandy will give Chuck the necessary credit to rebound off his losses and to prove his position in the UFC.
If he loses against Wandy, he will be the only fighter to lose against Pride fighters entering the UFC.
The bigger/more popular they are, the harder they fall.

Poor Chuckles, I kinda feel sorry for the guy. I really don’t see this fight ending but one way: Losing in round one by KO two minutes in. I think the Wandy fight couldn’t have come at a worse time for him in his career, I really hope he doesn’t retire, though, love him or hate him he’s always put on a great show… well, most of the time.
Eh, I guess I’ll have to check out this book, though there are alot of fighters whom I’d rather read about.
