After GSP dominates 170 (as if he hasn't already) he should take out anderson silva for the mw title. He's the only guy I can think of who can stand up to such a precision striker. A couple superman punches and its lights out for the spider.
Anderson Silva vs. GSP would be an awesome fight. If GSP won that, he would certainly be the #1 contender at 185. I don't know if he would be able to take the MW belt from Dan Henderson (who will have the belt after smashing Silva) though. As much as I would love to see them spice up the MW division, I would hate to see the WW division lose one of it's most exciting fighters. Especially with a potential GSP/Fitch fight on the horizon.
henderson beat silva, not going to happen! gsp will not move to 185 lbs.!
I honestly believe that George St. Pier is on Steroids. Look at his body. His size, shape water retention and demeanor is everything u would see in someone that uses Steroids. There is now way that a guy like Matt Hughes would be demoninated by a guy with a background like St. Pier like what happened at Nemisis.

If Matt and George both took Steroids, I still believe George would still win due to his athleticism. However, I believe Matt would win, with all things being equal, and no steriods were being used.

You might say, I am being a little presumptious, maybe I am...but I am a former college football player and wrestler...I know a juice monkey when I see one.

Here is what I DON'T understand.... Why did Chuck keep looking at the clock in the 3rd round? It was like the UFC told him NOT to finish the fight. Seriuosly?? That is not Chuck's style. I have never seen him lay down a barrage of punches with someone's back against the cage only to stop for no apparent reason and watch the clock for the next 2 minutes.

Feels way rigged to me. I hate conspiracy theories, but something was going on there. Wandy could have laid Chuck out when he was stumbling and Chuck could have finished Wandy when his back was to the cage.

Disgusting, IMO.
yeah, that made me go crazy on the second round where wandy dropped chuck twice and didn't finish him, and on the third round when wandy was a bit rocked and chuck backed away and looked at the clock, i don't know, all i know is that this loss will not make wandy look so bad as if it was chuck's loss. can you imagine if wandy said "ok, i'll let you win but you can't knock me out", it didn't happen, but it does make me think a bit since both did not want to finish the fight. I'm still going to say this was a legit win for chuck, I can't think this was fixed, because otherwise I'd stop watching mma.
You dont want to rush an injured yet expereienced veteran like Silva or Liddell. It's a good way to get over excited and keep your defence up. As for the fight being fixed...All I can say to that is, you probably were set on Silva to win and were dissapointed you didnt get to beat off to Liddell getting KOed. To even even think something like that let alone express, would still make you an idiot.
Fight was not fixed. Do you realize how many bombs he threw just before looking at the clock. Silva was not going down! He gased and like Rogan said he backed off to make sue he had enough energy to physically defend himself for the last 2 to 3 minutes. I would love to see the punch count on that fight from chuck. Two of Chucks knock downs were slips. One he got caught backing out and it tripped him up, the other was just a true slip. Silva rushing in on an unijured Chuck would have been the biggest mistake of his career, because if the Bombs that Chuck was landing were not hard enough there would have been added power on the overhand right plus the rush in speed from Silva, that would have out him to sleep. I think Silva was a little lost without the soccer kicks and stomps.

Also how many of oy noticed Sokudujo was basicallyknocked out from the elbows. The only reason he was not KO'd was because he was already n his back. But he was asleep before the arm triangle. His eyes wee glassed and all before hand.

I am not a fan of Hughes but to see a legend like Hughes get his ass handed to him in that fashion was almost saddening. IT was like when he beat Gracie. A kind of passing of the torch I guess.

Funny that Tito Ortiz said in an interview that he thought W. Silva gets a weaker chin every time he gets KO'd, i.e, against Cro Cop and then Hendo, but fuck he could not of been more wrong! He took countless bombs on the chin from the iceman and still fired back! Tough SOB!

P.S, Chuck still did a great job and the PRIDE bumchum fans can say all they want to discredit Liddell but that does not change the fight's outcome. Yes he is the poster-boy for the UFC but he is still a great fighter. Not to take anything away from Wandy, he is a fucking warrior. That is one aspect where I agree with PRIDE fans(HARDCORE pride mma fans, not little sappy fuckers who follow pride just to be different and bitch about the UFC).

P.S 2, Cant wait for Rampage vs Griffin!
Hey wouldn't it be funny if Wandy Silva beat the shit of Rampage like he did twice (easily) before in Japan but in the UFC?

As for talk of Liddell never getting a title shot again...if he wins his next 2 fights it is possible, some people seem to forget that he is GOOD FRIENDS with Dana...Anyway I can see it happening cause i will never doubt an experienced veteran like Liddell.

P.S 3, I do respect pride fans, seriously, but just the ones who know what they are talking about and can accept that different people have different opinions about different fighters.
