God I hope that isn't it. Forrest didn't earn anything, I keep saying it; anyone would have beat Shogun that night, he had no cardio... do you guys know what a good fighter looks like? It's night and day watching Shogun strike normally, then watching him in his fight against Griffin. He gassed incredibly early, his ground game consisted of turtling, rolling, turtling again. Oh but that's just because Griffin was so powerful right? You guys are high- Forrest didn't prove anything that night except that Shogun can show up almost certain to get his ass kicked. Nobody understands what each victory in MMA really means- does Matt Serra have GSP's number? Well, he beat GSP a thousand times more convincingly than Forrest beat Shogun. Let's see Forrest beat the guys that Shogun beat, then I'll put his name as high in the ranks as you guys do. Forrest should not be a coach- if he is, there is zero chance of me watching one episode of that season.
How the hell was matt serras win over GSP more convincing than Forest over shogun...Serra landed an illegal punch to the back of the head...GSP would beat his ass in a rematch...Forest went toe to toe with shogun for two rounds and then choked his ass out.

Thats not so far fetched.. Fedors stipulation for signing with the UFC was that he would fight at other events... So who said he hasn't Inked that same deal.. But I think Dana and the Fertita's are afraid of that situation.. Fedor comes in beats randy and rides off into the sunset with the belt....Legend
Forrest as a coach? Looks like the show is definitely going more to the entertainment side. TUF6 had the weakest fighters and fights to date...hopefully we see some better talent and not just a sit-com attitude.
I think with the whole sit-com thing, Rampage and Griffin should be able to provide the audince with a whole new side to these them-selves?..Work ethic, possible guest trainers(Ibarra), Of course entertainment, and a whole new setting?..Dana stated that "exciting" changes will be set in place to improve the show..so just to say, this is the season that fans from all aspects of MMA will be looking forward too...Hopefully!

I like the idea of giving Griffin a title shot. He beat the guy who was considered the #1 205 lb. fighter in the world. It's a great idea fot them to be on the show but I don't want to wait 6 months before the LHW titlw to be on the line again. THe way I see it, there is 5 champions, so every title holder should have to defend their their title once every five months, pending injuries. Just like how Serra won the title in April, did the show and was set to defend in December. That's way too long for fans to wait, especially when the welterwieght class is as stacked as it is. There's guys like Jon Fitch who have racked up a bunch of wins in the octagon and deserve a title shot but won't get one one for long time because of the delay caused by the show. Does anyone want the Light Heavyweight division to go throught the same thing? From the way it is looking the only two "real" titles that will be defended in the next few months are Anderson Silva's Middleweight title and the vacant Heavywieght title. I don't know about anyone else but I'm tired of buying PPV's that don't even have a title fight headlining the card. UFC 76 and 78 were terrible, although there were pivotal matchups in the LHW division at 78. The bottom line is there should be a title fight at every PPV and the reality show does nothing but extend a title holder's reign.

The announcement will either be about John McCarthy retiring or Tito Ortiz against someone in UFC 84 in Mexico.
