Can’t wait for this fight. Nobody is giving Chuck a chance. Threre is so much riding on this fight for both guys. I’m rooting for Chuck simply because he’s older then Silva and a loss could spell the end of Chuck Liddell.

Chuck is definitely being shorted on the fight opinions, but there are those, myself included that think Chuck matches up well against Wandi. I think the couterstriking style that chuck uses will spell a 2nd RD TKO of Wandi even though I feel Wandi is a superior fighter. It is all about the matchups and Chuckie boy’s style is a recipe for disaster for Silva, similart to another famous counterstriker - Mirko Cro Cop. He created the space and used well time counters to dull the Axe Murderer. I think Chuck has this one on ice (gosh, I am loaded with 3rd rate puns, I hate myself!) as long as he has a game plan and sticks to it.

True on all accounts. It’s not such an effort to understand him anymore. I hope he wins so we can see him fight Rampage again. Every dog has its day. Chuck has had his day, time for him to move on. (I think…Would I be surprised if Chuck won?…No.)

I’ll be rooting for Wandy.
With a win a rematch with RAMPAGE can be set up and if Tito can put together some Wins we could see Tito vs Wanderlei 2 some time in the future.

As much as I would like to think Wandy is too agressive for chuck, deep down I know that wandy style is perfect for chuck..

If you look at the Keith Jardine fight against chuck you will notice that Jardine never really stood there and exchanged w/ Chuck…The point to that is Chuck never really got to corner him and flurry his ass because Keith was smart enough to realize if he got caught in a flurry he would have been down..And that in my opinion really frustrated chuck..
See the similarity in Wandy’s style in comparison to all the grapplers that chuck beat down is that they all moved forward at all times which for chuck is perfect for landing those wide, out of nowhere bombs which have the capability in knocking out even the toughest chins…

One more thing.. Remember Rampage holding out both arms calling chuck out b/c he wasn’t about to give Chuck the chance to land that wierd right hand that has finished many…

i think in this fight, wandi will be more aggresive compare to chuck, the only way for chuck to win is to catch wandi w/a knockout, but via point round by round. wandi will win it

Im not so sure, iv got a feeling we are going to see a slightly different liddell this time around, yes he will counter punch and keep it to the feet, but i think he will use his kicks and also the octagon to his advantage!!

I also have seen chucks clinch defence and looks pretty good, plus he counters it with strikes which also very dangerous for silva in close!

Great fight but im putting my money on chuck for this one, thinks he has the tools to frustrate silva in to a big mistake!

I like how everyone seems to think they know how Wandy is going to come out. I don’t believe he is going to run up on Chuck like Babalu. We haven’t seen Wandy fight since he has moved and gotten with a new camp or at the least training with new partners.

If Chuck is so dangerous, how come he couldn’t beat Jardine?? Because he has nothing left. Wandy will knock him out late first round. This won’t even be much of a contest.

So what if Chuck loses to Wandy, he still will get 500K win lose or draw. If Tito can hang around with mediocre skils so can Chuck, especially if he sells PPV’s.

Wandy by far is the more compelling fighter and has some dream match ups waiting for him.

in my opinion he didnt beat jardine because he didnt take the fight seriously! he would beat jardine any day of the week, from here on in if you ask me!!

Doesnt he get $1m if he wins? Plus im sure chuck will use his kicks in this fight to keep the distance on the clinch, outside wandi doesnt have a hope trading with chuck!!

lol.

Put it this way”…do the math.

Wanderlei beat Rampage 2 times,..
Rampage beat Chuck 2 times,..

2 2 = 4 right?

So that means Chuck is going to take 4times the ass whooping he took the first time he fought Rampage..

You might have a point saying Chuck is washed up, if you weren’t comparing him to (washed up) Wandy. OH, Wandy isn’t washed up,then how come he couldn’t win his last to fights. When he loses to Chuck that will be 3 strikes in a row.

Wanderlei lost his last two fights to very worthy opponants.

Wanderlei’s last two fights were..

Most recently lost to Dan Henderson.. Who I might add just went 5 rounds with Rampage’ the same man who Chuck could not get past 1 round with…

And Wanderlei’s 2nd last loss was to Mirko Cro Cop in an Open Weight Tournament..
Which Wanderlei was the only non HW to sign up.. He also made it all the way to the semi-finals before losing to CC..

Now if you look at Chucks last two fights were
Rampage (no shame in losing to Rampage) BUT Keith Jardine???…….maybe you can explain this one Gord???

BTW:” Wandy would mop the floor with Jardine!

I pick chuck to win technical knock out - 1st round. He’s got a point to prove (that he’s still a force) and needs to make a statement in this one.

wandy’s losses far outweigh chuck’s. I’d like to see chuck against crocop or (a sick) chuck against dan henderson.

Unless a miracle happens Wandy has this one.I’m not saying that Chuck is not good anymore, but Wandy beat better competition and his loses come from HW.He’s younger, more well rounded and wants to prove himself to the american fans as the best LHW in the world, something that he proved while he was fighting in PRIDE.

Chuck is officially screwed. Look at a recent training video (it says Nov. 24, 2007 in the end credits):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmQNWa3-Cd8

Are you kidding me? Amateur athletes have tougher work-outs than this! He should be peaking his training at that time, and he looks like he’s going out for a morning jog. And look, there’s a guy running in freakin’ flip-flops! These are the people that Chuck is training with?! I know he has loyalty to Hackleman, but this is just ridiculous. He’d get a better work-out by following one of those infomercial tapes.

Wandy by brutal TKO.

Chuch knows that Silva will come out very aggressive.Silva will try to get Chuck in a thai clench, and start throughing monster knees If he does not catch Chuck with this,he will look to shoot.Chuck has fought better fighters. The Chuck that destroyed tito, couture, horn, randelman, white, sobrel, and made it look easy needs to show up that night.Either man has knock out power. They are both very well rounded fighters.Chuck has alot more in his arsenal, then he has shows.Hopefully Chuck will come up giving him angles, and start kicking more.Chuck needs to throw a few faints, and sucker him in,and bam right on the buton
