Yea you will boycott and not buy it, but I'm about 95 % sure you'll go to a friends house to watch it though.
Sean Sherk will remain the title holder and then run through whoever wins between stevenson n penn. ( Let's go Stevenson by the way )

Long live Sean Sherk.
He passed a lie detector test.
I'm all for him keeping the belt and defending it many times.
People can easily cheat lie detector tests if they know what they're doing.

Even if he was telling the truth that he did not knowingly take anything well then he accidently took something illegal.

Strip him so there's no double standards and then give him an immediate shot at the winner of Penn Stevenson. I personally feel that would be the right thing to do and that that is what they will probably do.

I think that's fair. Thoughts?
On your first point, polygraphs are not easy to fool. They measure your heartrate, breathing, how much you are sweating, as well as several other involuntary things that you do when your lying. In addition, some places will video tape you, because your eye movement while answering a question can give some insight to whether they are lying or not.

On a polygraph you may be able to control some of these things, but it takes a freak of nature to control all of them. The reason why it not admissible in court is because it is not infallible, with much practice, you can learn to trick one, but it is by no means easy.
What happens when a football player test positive for steroids? He gets what? A 3 game suspension? Do they suspend him for half a year and take all his rings away? No, so why does Sherk need to be stripped to prove MMA is a "real sport".

No offense, but the press is notorious for acting like Protestants on a witch hunt when it comes to steroids. Sherk served his suspension and he got embarrased for something he mot likely did unintentionally. Stop acting like drama queens.
Yeah the stupid thing about NFL testing is that according to what I hear, the NFL conducts the tests. Dana is right about one thing, if the NFL tested their athletes the same as Combat sports, then there would be no NFL.
Even if Sean Sherk did not knowingly take steroids, he should accept that since it was in his system, he should be stripped of the belt. It's not like he will never have another title shot down the road.

NEXT: For ALL the BJ PENN HATERS on this blog, where is their any evidence that says he's scared of SHERK. Common now, BJ PENN fought LYOTO MACHIDA at 205. Although he lost(BY DECISION, HE DID NOT TAPOUT OR GET KO) you gotta give him props. BJ PENN ain't scared on no one. The lightweight title has been put on hold for WAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY tOOOO LONG
I'm trying to imagine the voice fluctuations that would come if this WERE A real CONVERSATION. I'm just sayin.

Actually if you test positive in the Olympics I think you're banned from competing in the Olympics again forever but you can compete in other competitions. (I think).

Talk about double standards. Strip Barnett but not Sherk. Dana's stock drops again. Sean Sherk tested positive for steroids. FACT. Now strip him.

If Sherk is not stripped we should start a petition. This is total BS.

They should be able to test these guys at any time of the year.
Rob do your research beofre you act like you knwo whats going on.. You guys are so judgmental. Ever been blamed for something you didnt do? Maybe there is the possibility you could have or could not have done it? What do you think happens, they give the benifit of the doubt. Thats what happened, he is effin innocent.
What's wrong with what I said. He tested positive for nandrolone whether he knowingly took it or not right. Suppose he accidently took some supplement that had trace amounts of something that would produce a positive test, well then he's still guilty of having performance enhancing $h!t in his system. It's against the rules no? I'm not buying this playing dumb thing either.

12ng is 6 times the limit set by the IOC. Not sure what the CSAC set. That to the best of my knowledge says guilty. I reckon he got his cycle wrong.

You think you'd get away with that $h!te in the olympics? No they'd take back your medal and ban you for two years for a first offence.

Even if you somehow unknowingly took something, rules are rules. He had an unfair advantage. Don't hit me with that it wasn't enough to affect his performance bs.

If this sport is to be taken seriously it has to be governed properly.

Ever been blamed for something I didn't do! How can you even use that. (Side note: yeah I have funny story)

Well that feels much better now that I got that off my chest. Sorry but it's just how I feel on the matter.
