CNBC also plans to air an hour-long documentary on the Ultimate Fighting Championship dubbed “Ultimate Fighting: From Blood Sport to Big Time” on Thursday, December 13 at 10 p.m. ET. To check out a video trailer click here.
Dana is the man..no scratch that, Dana is the Daddy of all MMA. If he was a rapper then he’d be Snoop Dogg, if he was a car he’d be built like a Bently, if he was a champagne we would call him Cris, if he was a…..well you see where I’m going with this.

I think the documentary is a great idea to show all of the people who think this sport has not evolved from out of shape guys swinging blindly at each other. When they see footage of the old versus the new they can’t honestly admit that it’s the same. This is a smart move by CBS try to educate a potential new audience first before just pushing mma onto them.
I just love how people that don’t know the sport describes MMA “Today, mixed martial arts-a combination of judo, wrestling and boxing-is racking up big television deals” like definitively, that’s all it is - those three things.
That was actually a very interesting interview, albeit a bit of a softball one. Thats fine though, if I heard anothing thing about Randy I would have shit myself.
Probably the best interview I’ve seen Dana do so far. I truly think his whole “cussing” thing is a calculated strategy to lure in the whole “males 18-35″ demographic and it just depends on what venue he’s speaking with. Obviously it would have been in very poor taste to cuss around Michael Eisner and he didn’t even get close to pushing the line there. Dana’s not an idiot. He knows what he’s doing.
That was a good intreview.Actually I went to Las Vegas and saw this event live, though I was already a fan ,but now I cant live without watching the UFC and cheking out everything that has to do with the it.
whoa! and here I was clicking on the comment link expect nothing but the usual hate towards Dana. Or maybe that’s just Sherdog.
Anyways props to Dana for helping this sport grow.
For real… lots of love for Dana? weird. It’s about time… he is the guy you want driving the machine… keep it going.

You’d think with all the money behind MSNBC they could come up with a better video player than this piece-o-crap that I’m watching this thing on.

Pic says..Dana White = Andre Agassi

I was flipping through the channels last week and caught some of it. He was showing the UFC book. Damn that’s so stupid it makes me mad.
