Do you think rampage is being serious? Hes obviously joking around. He always gives good interviews, better than the guys who say "I got the best right hand in the world im gonna KO this guy, im in the best shape of my life" come on. This is a much needed change to the plain interviews of normal fighters. thanks page for being awesome
Rampage is incredible, too bad Jesse you did not follow him into the bathroom, he said on the *UFC 71 dvd that he takes 10 pounds craps.

That would of been more crazy than 2 girls 1 cup.
I tried my hardest to watch that, but I really alot puked 20 seconds into it.

[...] “My last fight, before I fought Rashad (Evans), I wasn’t 100%, and I just wanted to make sure if I ever fight again I’m going to be 100%. The back injury that I sustained kind of hindered me for fight time. Now it’s a lot better, and May will be my next fight. I spoke to Lorenzo (Fertitta), and it looks like in May. They’re going to wait until May, so the next Cinco de Mayo weekend will be Tito Ortiz’ next fight.” – Light heavyweight Tito Ortiz tells MMAWeekly.com that he plans to return on Saturday, May 3, 2008. No opponent was named. That event would more than likely be dubbed UFC 84. Is it possible that the event it could take place in Mexico? It would seem fitting given the timing and the heritage of “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy.” Perhaps he would join (not fight) his friend and training partner, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, who recently admitted to us the he “Loves Mexicans.” Hmmm … December 4th, 2007 [...]

[...] Rampage Jackson: One of the most frequent questions asked by the MMA blogosphere is “Where’s Rampage?” Ever since the unification fight against Dan Henderson, he’s barely been on television and isn’t even rumored to be fighting anytime soon. Or, maybe he is rumored to be fighting soon? MMAMania.com interviewed the light heavyweight champion, and when asked when we’ll see him again and what Dana’s White’s big plans for him are? “I love Mexicans. I love tacos, burritos...I don’t know man, I don’t know what the hell Dana’s talkin’ about.” There’s been talk of a UFC show in Mexico this year, but mainly with a focus on Roger Huerta and Diego Sanchez. I have to admit though, if I were breaking into a new market, I’d definitely put a major title fight on it. And speaking of Senor Huerta… [...]
rampage is a great fighter and is real funny, but it pisses me off when he says he hates to train. fighting in mma is my dream when im older, he doesnt no how priveledged he is and what a great position hes in
Everyone can't enjoy training, he's still doing it and one thing is clear he knows he having a good position.

Since you're getting pissed, you're one of a kind, maybe you'll get bored training 3 to 4 times a day 6 days a week... he's been doing that for ages, I bet the most of the fighters on that level would say that training is rather boring.

Matey boy or shall I say a can to be?, I hope you turn out to be the worst can ever in the history of MMA, then you can give us all some laughter.

Good luck with the training.

I think it is Hillairious that Rampage's comical interviews bother a lot of you. He is like a modern day Muhmamad Ali the way he makes a joke out of everything. If you don't like the champ then you don't have to read his interviews. I think even professionals should have fun. I bet it would be cool to interview him because you never know what he is going to say.

John...

I followed up on your "breaking news" about Randy not accepting, and about Tim and Nog fighting instead..
I went on sherdog and mmaweekly and did not find any of this information...

Was it a different website??
It was posted in the Sherdog forums...linked from a post from another fan forum...draw your own conclusions...
So would you rather hear the same old used up boring sporting Clichés as used by 99% of other fighters???
He's not being an idiot, all these guys talk crap anyway and half the time their answers are not interesting at all, at least Rampage adds some humour!
TOELOCK!!!!!!! We were thinking along the same exact lines!! You beat me to my cliche line, PLUS you know how to put the little accent mark on the 'e'. I wasn't even done reading thru the entire thread before posting that comment, because if I respond to every comment that I want to, my post would be pages long, and no one would read it, except for the MMAmania regulars.
Today's Rampage is NOW the same Rampage of a few years ago. Over the past year, Rampage's career has been on the up and up, and Wanderlei has been spiralling downward. Rampage did not have world class trainer or training partners when he was fighting in PRIDE.
OOOPS correction: Today's Rampage is NOT the same Rampage of a few years ago.
