"I dunno, no disrespect to Dustin or Kos, but neither excite me, the only thing I like about seeing Kos fight, is watching him get booooed by his homecrowd (las vegas) after each and every fight."

Kos' hometown is Waynesburg, PA. He now lives and trains in Fresno, CA. He is going to put a beat down on Hazelett.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

YESSSS!!!!!! This is awesome, Mr. NC 17. Me and you are the only two that EVER bring up Dustin's name, and actually, we were just talking about him yesterday. This is a big time jump in competition for him, but honestly, KOS isn't the most well rounded fighter around. But like you said, I to fear Dustin's takedown defense. Because as everyone knows, that is the most important tool to have to defeat Kos. Once the fight does hit the ground however, Dustin will be working from submission to submission just as fast as you've ever seen. He is super slick!! So Dustin being on his back may not be a bad thing. I wonder if Kos will be hesitant to bring the fight to the ground, like he was against Diego. The only time he would go for a takedown against Diego was when there was under 20 seconds left in the round. I am REALLy REALLY hoping that Dustin can pull this one off and submit/TKO Kos. Dustin is one of my favorites, and Kos is one of my least favorites....
Like I said, most of you all have never seen a Dustin Hazelett fight.
Violent Mike posted a video of Dustin in the Robinson/Diaz forum go watch Dustin knock out Chad Reiner (who is a tough dude) in 7 Seconds.
Dustin is impressive.
Dustin's last 2 UFC fights were on Youtube and/or DailyMotion the week after the events, but they are no longer there. I posted that video because I have never seen Dustin's hands possess KO power before.

John, have you seen any of Dustin's fight's in the UFC before? I think that this kid has big time potential, remember, he is ONLY 21 years old.
Mike, I think you and probably 2 other people other than myself think Dustin is actually worth a damn in this fight. Everybody keeps saying "Who is he? Give Kos a real fighter!"

They will be surprised when Dustin submits Koscheck.

Dustin is awesome as a fighter and as a person. So I am very excited about this match-up. Lets just hope this is shown on the live card.

I just watched the Hazelett v Goulet fight. I wish there was more on him. It's hard not to root for a guy who's fight nickname is "McLovin". His bjj is nice, very technical. He's a brown belt and I believe Kos just moved up to brown himself. Fitch (brown belt also) has sick submission defense-so training with him I can't imagine Kos won't be prepared. This should be good.

Also John, NEVER in my life have I rooted for Kos, and I never will. And if somehow that bum, Bobby Southworth, SOMEHOW manages to work his way back to the UFC, I will be rooting for him to get his ass kicked as severely as possible, and then for Chris Leben to jump in the octagon and pee all over him!!!

John,

There really wasn't much to see in that Chad Reiner fight, but unfortunatly, that's all I can find on YouTube at the moment. I have also seen the fight against Goulet as well as against Steven Lynch. I really want to see his other two fights - FOR FREE!!

VM: actually I am not all that familiar with him. I watched the Chad reiner fight. I seen him fight I think it was guolet? I didnt realize he was so young. I am not trying to put him down, I just havent seen enough material on him to make a fair assesment.

I have seen Kos fight and he is very beatable. I would like to see Kos fight against Matt Serra. Kos's striking although very improved is still weak. He shy's away from combo's and has a tendancy to start throwing Haymakers. Kos is picking up on the submission game, but I do not know if he can defend them against a tru B ju jitsu specialist. My beef aint with Dustin, It's koschek that I dont like. The best part of a Koschek fight is hearing his whole hometown crowd Booooo his troll doll looking ass after everyone of his wins! I dont know much about dustin, what I do know is that I will be rooting for him against Koschek!

Can some journalists please hunt Dana White down, stick a F*ckin microphone in front of his mouth and ask him what the hell is going on with the whole Couture Mess. This is the most important current news, and no one is reporting on it. I dont get it. They were supposed to meet last week, and we have herd nothing. Its driving me crazy, or it's the damn percocets...God damn wisdom teeth
its called a private meeting so we are just going to have to wait and see what happens. as of i dont even really wanna see couture back because he will only be coming back for the money and only the money not for the love of the sport.
Well if Couture doesn't come back than we have 0% chance of ever seeing Fedor in the Octagon. In that "private meeting" I am 100% sure that Randy discussed the possibility of Dana bringing Fedor to the octagon for 1 fairwell fight. That is the only scenario that could possibly land Fedor in the octagon, even if its for one fight. Dana has never brought over a fighter from another promotion for just one fight, if he is ever to do so, it would be for Fedor. Also, Randy and Noguerra will be about as strategic and technically sound heavyweight fight that we will ever get to see, so I'll take Randy back, if he comes back with his tail beatween his legs.

Randy vs. Arlovski would be interesting also because Andre is very skilled on the ground, and I want to see how improved Randy's striking really is, match him up against Arlovski and we are sure to find out.
I don't see AA getting Randy in a title match..I think Nog would be a more likly match up today..but that is verbally still not what Randy wants..Randy's the number "1" HH in the world today..Fedor. Now Dana is someone that takes things way to personal..you can see it..So by Fedor..saying F that UFC exculsive rights contract..I'll fight in M-1 were I'm able to still fight in other organizations if I wish to..I don't see Dana making an exception to just bring Fedor for this fight. That will invole another fight promotion which Dana is not feeling that.
PhilQNy: u made some great points but, If Randy comes back he will fight Noguerra, thats a fact. After that Randy would still have 1 fight left on his contract, Arlovski hasnt been impressive lately but him or Kongo are probably next in line after NNoguerra. If Randy does finish off his contract witthe UFC, ghe will definetrly then b looking for a fight against FEDOR. Randy will threaten to go to M-1 just to fight Fedor once. Dana doesnt like the whole cross-promotion fight, but Randy is the UFC, and I doubt Dana would want to see Randy fighting Fedor in M-1 where Dana wont get any part of the money. Randy WILL fight Fedor, where and when, we dont know. That will be the biggest fight in the history of MMA, and I doubt Dana will stand by and not be a part of it ion some way. We also know that M-1 has already said that they would send Fedor over to fight Randy, so I think it is a possibility still but only after he finishes his last 2 fights with the UFC, he may be able to sway Dana into bringing the Russian over for just one fight, but Randy would have to relinquish his title 1st.

I really feel that this is still a possability, thats y I am so eagerly awaiting the resultsof their meeting.
Bro..I'm not even thinking about anymore..till more news pops up..there are not too many ways this will go..it's either a. b. or c...or d. none of the above...hopefully we get a verdict on this matter and put it behind us.

Also, Randy and Noguerra will be about as strategic and technically sound heavyweight fight that we will ever get to see, so I’ll take Randy back, if he comes back with his tail beatween his legs.

Randy vs. Arlovski would be interesting also because Andre is very skilled on the ground, and I want to see how improved Randy’s striking really is, match him up against Arlovski and we are sure to find out.
I don’t see AA getting Randy in a title match..I think Nog would be a more likly match up today..but that is verbally still not what Randy wants..Randy’s the number “1″ HH in the world today..Fedor. Now Dana is someone that takes things way to personal..you can see it..So by Fedor..saying F that UFC exculsive rights contract..I’ll fight in M-1 were I’m able to still fight in other organizations if I wish to..I don’t see Dana making an exception to just bring Fedor for this fight.

Bro..I’m not even thinking about anymore..till more news pops up..there are not too many ways this will go..it’s either a. b. or c…or d. none of the above…hopefully we get a verdict on this matter and put it behind us.
