I want Hughes to win…but Id be more surprised if he beats GSP than i was when Serra tkoed GSP. Anthing can happen but how can hughes possibly win???

If they call it a fight for the interim title it can be a 5 round title fight instead of a 3 rounds

I’m assuming that this is just a way of saying “guaranteed to beat Serra when he is all healed up”. EVERYONE expects GSP or Hughes to beat Serra.

Matt Serra saved by an injury. Hughes would have wiped the floor with him. I would have loved to see it. All that smack he talked during the UF.

I’m sorry Sparxx, that I wasn’t there to defend you over the weekend. I only visit the site on weekdays while I’m at work, so I wasn’t logging on to the site over the weekend while all of the news was breaking. However, I had friends calling me keeping me up to date with the news.

HOWEVER, and unfortunately, I still see GSP winning this fight in dominating, ahd highlight reel KO.

I agree. GSP is not one to jump into the Octagon when not in top shape. Remember he pulled out of a title shot? That’s why BJ-Hughes II happened.

How could anyone know this? Do you know GSP personally? Why would GSP or any fighter take fight like this if they didnt think they couldn’t be prepared. It is my estimation GSP has been keeping himself relatively in shape and has been training….especially with him preparing Rashad.
