I don’t see Joe really giving BJ any problems. Joe likes to go for a lot of submissions but that’s BJ’s bread and butter. I think it will be a good fight. I see Joe hanging tough but getting dominated and losing a unanimous decision.

Werdun already has a win over Gonzaga, but that was quite a while ago. It’d be like saying Wanderlei is going to beat Rampage hands down if they fought again. My money’s gotta go on Gonzaga.

Because Phil, every October show that they put on blows because all UFC fighters want to be in Vegas for the New Year after they fight. It’s all about the after party for these fighters and Dana cannot actually force them to fight in a city notorious for crime, projects, and crack.

Newark, New Jersey ? Any smart business man could have told Dana that this was a horrible idea ! Just because it is a new arena and he is probably making money out of his ass off of it doesn’t mean you hold a UFC event in Newark. Hopefully some junkie pops two in to White’s chrome dome !

I agree..but dana wants to suck the money out this as much as possible..a fight for a title is better than a non title fight. His using the csac 2 week hearing as an excuse that this is nothing to do with sherk..that this is all some big mis understanding. He could of set this up 3 months ago..but sherk would of took the blame for it being a vacant title..now he blames the csac..and wants to market and profit from a unification lw title holder.

I don’t like Gonzaga/Werdum being a co-main event type match. I think that’s horrible. It shouldn’t even be on the poster. Werdum as done NOTHING in the UFC to warrant him having his face on a UFC PPV promo poster as a co-main event type match. Like I’ve been saying, with ALL of this talent the UFC has, we should never be seeing a week card.

Sherk should be completely out of the picture if he gets found guilty and I think Florian should definately get the next shot at whoever gets the belt. I actually think he is the one who deserves to fight Penn more than Stevenson, and I think as far as veiwing is concerned would make for a more exciting match. I like Stevenson he seems like a good guy and definately has skills, I just think that Florian deserves it a bit more.

Yeah man..What is Werdum’s pic doing on this card..if this was adcc or pan americano..it would make sense..but not a ufc co main event..Dana should be charged with reckless fight match ups, indangerment of feeding viewers weaker cards and ridiculous main event purposely.. 2counts of affiliation with chemical brothers ( sherk, lesnar ) and in violation of being a Ceo Prez of the ufc..with no due proccess..no trial..I suggest we move towards reaching a verdict.

Interim Championship is stupid. Just wait 2 weeks, strip Sherk and then have a vacant LW Championship fight.

Moves like this show how much the UFC needs some policy standards regarding abuse. This is the precedent?
IMO, anyone fails both tests, automatically stripped. You can appeal, but the belt waits for no one. Fail one of two tests, belt waits for appeal, no continuance.

The UFC also needs some kind of ranking system for determining contenders. Whatever Silva and Dana think is not cutting it.

The win-loss records on UFC.com are suspect, at best. How is Gonzaga 8-1 if he already lost to Werdum once and just lost to Randy Couture in his last fight? That is two losses right there.

But this looks like it is the ‘official’ promo poster. That would mean that Penn/Stevenson is the main event, and Gonzaga/Werdum is the ‘featured bout’ which will be right before the main event.
