Why doesn’t Shogun fight at 185lbs? He looked really small compared to Forrest. If Rich Franklin can make 185, Shogun should have no problem.

It sort of depends on whether or not Shogun was on roids in Pride. It seems a little suspicious to see how different he was against Forrest. If it was just ill preparation, I’ll take Shogun all the way. This is a great matchup for the UFC. Ortiz is washed up anyway. They don’t need him to win, they just need a familiar face and name to get mashed on by their young up and comers. Rua is good looking and entertaining. Dana loves those types and always looks to run them through the ranks (Roger Huerta etc).

When Shogun fought Forest he looked like he could make 185lbs, he didn’t look cut or like he had a hard time making that weight, but I don’t know.
