Well there are 3 who are considered to have earned their shot (penn, stevenson, florian). Tyson Griffin is pretty close as well after beating Guida and Tavares. If Huerta beast Guida I’d consider him up there. Same goes for Edgar if he beats Fisher.

You are right Jesse.
The LW division shouldn’t have to wait for Sherk. This is his problem and he should let the UFC hold a title fight, so the LW division can have a champ. And when Sherk is done with his court, and everything is cleared up, he should get a instant title shot to whoever is the champ(only if he is cleared of the positive test)

The LW division fighters have waited on title fights before over other problems. Can we just have constant LW title fights in the UFC ever?

That seems reasonable to me, but I don’t know how the legal system works.

I don’t think its all that bad that we have to wait 2 more weeks. Yeah, it sucks, but its not going to push back any sort of title fight - its ONLY 2 weeks.
