And who is next for tyson Griffin, Kenny Florian perhaps, wow wat a fight.

PS Forrest Griffin vs Rampage Jackson is what Im dying to see, quite possibly greastest fight ever. if forrest is healthy of course.

What the hell, maybe with the 155 wieght class being so clogged you would have good fights, ones to see whos the best, it started good, with Thiago and Tyson, then Edgar, and Fisher, but Tyson, and tibau, come on, there’s florian, theres diego, make more monkey maker fights at 155, For the fans, for the UFC, for me, please!

Man Tyson Griffin is a f*cking BEAST and been through some wars, but I don’t know how he’ll fare against Tibau. All his other fights have been against fairly inexperienced fighters: Edgar, Guida (inexperienced in UFC, not in MMA), and Tavares.

But yeah Josh, you’d, figure that they’d match Griffin, Guida, Huerta, and Tavares up against some of the top lightweights. 155 is becoming my favorite weight class.

THEY SHOULD MOS DEF make Griffin v. Rampage for the Lightheavyweight Title the main event. It would be a highly anticipated match and Forest deserves a shot after beating Shogun.

Minotaro Nogireau should fight Sylvia for the Heavyweight title too if they can’t get Randy back to fight.

Thalies Leites is an animal, and if he steam rolls threw Nate, give a title shot, or at least a big time fight, like Okami?
Tanner?
Kampman 2? what a rematch that would be

Griffin vs. Rampage is a good fight; is Jardine fighting the winner though?? He should be right there seeing how he beat Chuck Lidell… if the winner of the liddel silva fight gets the next title shot isn’t jardine kind of getting screwed, not that I’m a huge jardine fan but it is kind of obvious at that point.

I agree! Leites is an animal. If he wins he deserves to fight a top notch opponont. But Nate Marquardt is one of the best fighters in the division, so a win against Nate might put him next in line for a title shot, if not much closer!

i think if leites beats nate he should get next shot at title unless
okami fights on card against tanner or say leban and wins
he needs to get a title shot if he keeps winning even if he is a boring fighter he gets the job done i don’t see anyone crying about machida’s style

griffen rampage is a good fight but i think machida should get a shot if he beats sokoudjou(granted thats a big big if). forest should fight thiago silva for the number 1 contender spot if machida wins. if not maybe he sould fight rampage!jardine should fight either shogun or wanderlei(wandy if wandy beats chuck)
matt hamill should fight jason lambert or stephan bonnar and rashad evans could probably fight chuck if he won or shogun or wandy depending on the results. gotta get the big names to fight each other. bisping to fight either houston alexander or tito when tito comes back
205 needs to be sorted as for 185 dana whats up bring in denis kang, evan tanner, dave terrel(sure terrell is back) bring in lindland no matter how boring he is, bring in paulo filho he is wasted in the wec and give kampmann good treatment on his knee 185 sucks right now

170 is good for now 155 is great

How does Franklin, Huges or BIG TIM S.look at their selves right now? None of them looks great or looked their selves the last few fights they have had. And has Chuck Liddell become a joke to the rest of you as he has to me? But the most impression to me is Forrest Griffin, now that a fighter that deserves a chance a RAMPAGES BELT!!!!!!!!!!

Here’s the situation for the heavyweight division:

It is quite obvious that the middleweight division is crappy right now and the only thing it has done is take the attention away from the heavyweight. The fact is Heavyweight is going downhill for a couple of reasons. #1. Arlovski has not fought for far too long. At one time he was the dominant Heavyweight champion but his last two fights have hurt him. #2. Couture has quickly gained the attention with his amazing abilities at age 44 but for some reason he is being such a money whore lately that he’s acting like a baby that wants his bottle. #3. Tim Sylvia is too damn defensive. His last three fights have been the most boring fights I have ever seen.
Here is what must happen to reawaken the division:

Randy must stop his bitching, fight nog, Arlovski must come back and fight the winner of Mir-Lesnar, and Tim Sylvia needs to stop all the fucking excuses and lose the gut.

I can’t say I would want to wrestle around with guys all day every day, so I imagine keeping up the training becomes an issue after a while. I think some of them fought with injuries as well.
I can’t figure out why Vera has fallen off the radar screen. The boy breaks his hand in round 1 and survives two more rounds with that giant farm boy Silva. That is almost as impressive as a victory.

It’s weird that their marketing department made the “1″ in 81 so transparent. I barely noticed it the first time I looked - it just looks like UFC 8 to me unless I really focus on it.

It’s becoming more apparent that the Tim-Big Nog fight is anything but a done deal. Otherwise why continue to promote the Mir-Lesnar fight like it’s the main event? Anyway, with only two really interesting fights as it stands now (Griffin-Tibau and Marq-Leites), it’s definitely not a PPV card. The Fight Night card on the 23rd is looking much better!

Man, this is an awful card. Pretty much any fight with Tim Silvia should never be a headliner. He is one of the most boring fighters in the UFC.

Mir vs Lesnar could be an interesting fight but it is likely it will be a short fight.

Another fight that is likely to be short but should at least be exciting is the Martin vs Eastman battle. I expect that to be fast and furious.

Anyways, it looks like most of the fights will be over quickly and the one that won’t be over quickly will be a clinch-fest.

There are two Nogueiras. They are twins. I assume that the one fighting in this “Hardcore Championship Fighting” is his brother, Antonio *Rogerio* Nogueira. Antonio *Rodrigo* Nogueira fights for the UFC.

I dont know if you guys have noticed but most of the ufc cards that looked like wouldnt be that good have most of the best fights of the year. Yeah excluding tim sylvia alot of these fighters are pretty good. I just dont know how tim keeps getting offers for main events in the last hm….. 4 fights hes been in has sucked and went to a decision which with a man of his size he should be knocking them out left and right. In my opinion the heavyweight has the least amount of good fighters I mean name atleast 5 fighters that are the rampage or st pierre of their weight class need I say more. Dana and the ufc should be signing fighters or giving fighters such as Andrei Arlovski a fight.

Looks lyke a very good card. Even the fight that won’t be televised look savage
Tim is getting the shot he deserves, him and Arlovski carried the division for a while until it got pumped with all the new talent
Too bad Andre isn’t getting the respect Tim is getting. Andre was always a more exciting fighter, match him up against any of the new blood (eg Congo, Cro Cop, Vera etc) and it looks exciting
Whereas Tim is still a good fighter but I always preferred to watch The Pitbull’s fights

Ok, now this card has just gotten really good. I though that Horn had just went the way of a trainer and would never step in the ring again. I am so glad that he is taking this fight,,, would love to hear what transpired to get to Horn as a replacement, but this should be really good.
