Neither star is as bright as it was a little while ago, but the match up of super aggressive Silva vs. counter punching Liddell could mean fireworks. Should be a good one.

True MMA fans take the fights as they get them, even if the timing may not be as special as if it happened last year, I for one am thankful that this fight is set (as are many others) and we get to see two incredible fighters do what they do best.

I am not playing favorites in this one, I just want to see these guys come out and throw bombs.

it matters who comes out and wants it more, but Wandy seems like the more rounded fighter but i don’t see this hitting the ground.in the stand up i think it could go either way. its going to be a knock out, just can’t wait to see this fight.

That video is more of a shot at lame fans who don’t know anything about MMA except what goes on in the UFC than it is at Wandy. At least that’s what I hope it’s intention was.

Also, anyone else seen the Rampage tribute show on Pride playing on Fox Sports? Worst editing I’ve ever seen. If they cut away in the middle of a flurry of punches again I’m going to lose my fucking mind.

Wand is gonna go right at chuck, and if chuck doesnt watch, he will probably get his head knocked off. I could see this fight going either way but if chuck is the same as he was against jardine it will be lights out for the iceman. I think liddell will try his best not to lose instead of going for the kill and if thats the case my boy chuck is FU****. I have waited to see these two lock horns for a while and cant wait to see the fireworks. If it makes it into the third round I will be very suprised. Whatever the outcome, I will be happy just being able to watch two greats collide in a classic war.

I think you’re missing the point: Fans here in the U.S. know who Chuck is and think he will steamroll Wandi. The casual fan doesn’t really know much about Wandi, which will all change in December. I’m sure parts 2 and 3 of the Boondock video will show that. Boondock (based on his choice of video-making) is a huge Pride fan. I’m sure there’s some sarcastic undertones here, but I don’t think they are directed toward Silva.

I guess this video just proves that a sense of humor is needed to be an MMA fan. True, this vid makes Chuck look like a monster but, the real MMA fan will know better. Didn’t Wandy run off like 15 straight victories a few years back. Bottom line is this: these guys are both dangerous. If you have seen chuck fight quinton jackson twice and chuck get his ass beat twice, and then vanderlei whoops quinton’s ass twice (by brutal ko),if you put 2 and 2 together you have a pretty good base to go off of. That being said i am a die hard mma fan and have seen basically all of chucks and silva’s fights. i think silva will just be too much for chuck. He is much younger, stronger and faster and i even give him the edge in overall striking, he is a complete striker who uses every weapon he has, knees,elbow shoulders,fists,feet anything man.
