Gurgel is terrible. Get off Franklin’s nuts so we don’t ever have to see you again. And after the beating Robinson took from Kill-Flo, I don’t know that he’s the one to make Gurgel go away. Ugh. At least I can rest easy knowing there is no way this pillow-fight gets shown on TV.

I usually watch a fight with the emotion being to see a certain guy win, in this case I’ll be hoping to see Gurgel lose. Damn, this guy’s so irritating, I’d even be stoked to see him test positive…this guy can sure bring out an embarassing side

Can’t say I care too much about this one. But, sometimes these small scale fights blow up with great performances.

How can anyone say anything bad about Gergel? This guy has more heart than most MMA fighters. I like watching a fight when you know the guy fighting will not give up. For all who tap due to strikes learn from Gurgel!!

Gurgel is a decent fighter, but he gained some respect from me with the gutsy fights he has had.

Glad to know that i’m not the only one that thinks this guy sucks. Gurgel is a joke.
Man I thought I was the only one who disliked Gurgel. After watching him on the UF series I wasnt the least bit impressed with him. His cocky and arrogant attitude toward the other fighters was more than whats usually expected. Robinson has my vote on this one, I hope its a good fight, close rounds and Gurgel loses by split decision.
Kind of a bad move that Gurgel is fighting on the same card as Franklin..

Ok, that just shows you have only seen 0 fights from Jorge Gurgel. Jorge Gurgel always puts on a fantastic fight, and he is one scrappy tough dude. Gurgel has never had a boring fight. How is Gurgel a joke? Please tell me how he is a joke? This guy has all the tools of being a UFC champion. He has fantastic submission skills and good striking skills.
How can you hate him? He leaves it all out in the octagon and makes fights exciting.

Gurgel is the man. Nobody on here can say he’s on Franklin’s nuts. You don’t know their relationship and Gurgel has his own frickin training facility so he must be a damn good coach. You guys act like he’s some loser training partner that just clings to Franklin. That’s obviously not the case because Franklin chooses to go to his training center along with many other great fighters. It just tickes me off when a fighter like Gurgel puts it all on the line, fights with incredible heart and then takes sh*t from keyboard warriors.
Gurgle… eh Gurgel is a tough fighter with load of heart, but forgets to use his head in his fights. He as superior grappling and submissions, but is too willing to go toe to toe. I love a slug feast but it is irritating to watch a fighter lose a fight that they easily could have won if the fought with with their head. If Garble shows up with a game plan and sticks to it, he will win, if not Alvin and the chipmunks will be singing victory songs
