vitor back in the ufc is a good thing. he is one of the most talented fighters in the world. he went through a rough time with his sister passing away, not an easy thing to overcome. i think he is just as good as rampage in stand up. he took out wand. wand beat rampage twice. i say give him a shot. hard training & dedication anything can happen.
houston is the #1 contender he destroyed dean of mean put him up against rampage or axe murder
Houston wins two fights and he is the #1 contender? U kiddin me if anything it should be Forrest but at this point after the Forrest/Jackson fight in the summer if Rampage wins he should fight Machida, if Machida does beat Tito which will be hard, Houston needs to improve his ground game a bit before he fights for the title. Then u got Jardine who might fight Wanderlei next, if he beats him he should get Rampage granted Rampage beats Griffin.Chuck could also get a shot if he beats Shogun should be a good fight, but at this point u got the LHW division so stacked with talent it is difficult to predict with all the upsets of the recent years. As far as Vitor i`am a Vitor "The Phenom" Belfort fan but he has to came back strong and make a statment if he wants to be considered an MMA great and return to his old self. I think he can have a comeback but is going to be tough with his problems and all he went through not to mention the talented new fighters that are out there nowdays, Vitor is younger that what he looks he has been around for a while and is an old generation fighter (period from `96-`00). If the UFC allows him to return i would give him a few good fights most likely Sokodju, Bonnar, Alexander,Wanderlei and Jardine, (he won`t fight Machida cause they are training partners)i saw him in an interview were he called out Tito, he is willing to fight him for no money just pride and respect, so if Tito stays in the UFC a rematch with Vitor would be cool considering their first fight was good but ended up being very close and with contreversy. But to have him fight at 185 would be a huge cut and not a great idea even though he is not on roids no more he is still huge i seen him once at a seminar the dude is a beast even without steroids maybe if he fought at 225 it would be easier for him. Vitor can be a legend and became a champ agin if he A) Leaves all his issues and past behind him, B) Improves his cardio, C)Trains the right way with the right people which he is doing at Blackhouse in Brazil with A. Silva and Machida, and D)Starts fighting the spirit and skill he fought back in the day.
I am a HUGE Vitor fan. I am also a realist.

When Juanito was once asked about Vitor he said that a guy who fights with his heart on his sleeve is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on where his head is at. unfortunately Vitors head has not been on fighting for almost 6 years now. Juanito said that Vitor is fighting now for all the wrong reasons.

I am a Psych major and I have to say that its obvious that Vitor has issues, he almost comes across as a guy who is perpetually feeling guilty for what happend to his sister. He doesn't allow himself to be free from that demon.

Remember there were rumors that his sister was murdered by her boyfriend for years but that turned out to be untrue as they had never recovered the body and now its coming out that some young lady was being charged with the murder. I wouldn't be surprised if there was more to that story than what the Belfort family lets on maybe along the lines of extortion or something of that nature.

I think that Vitor could at his age still reinvent himself at a different weight class if he was to get back with Juanito and train in Big Bear (stamina was always one of his weak points) But I don't see him ever being an elite fighter at Light Heavy or Heavyweight again.
True true..Sad but true...I heard that it was a kidanpping, and they have charged more than one suspect...i can't find the link, but when i do i will post...Unfortunately, Vitor has beaten him-self up for it. You could see it on his face when he destroys Eastman in seconds...You could see Votir going through some sht there, by just loking at his face. And his las few fight's..Is looks like he's just making it by. But still, Vitor is my fav fighter, really hope the guy can conquer his emotions and get a grip on reality. Good luck Boi!

Why doesn't the UFC bring back Keith Hackney too while their at it? Vitor is washed up, and no longer dedicated to the sport. Back when he was, he was the PHENOM. But now, he has reduced himself to the DREAMER.

Belfort will never fight in the ufc. He fought out of the country while suspended for roid use against Henderson. I doubt any commission would liscense him to fight any time soon
Yeah, I don't think Vitor can fight in the U.S. (sanctioned organization) after thumbing his nose at the commissions. He should have just served his suspension. Not smart.
That's the most important thing. If he can't get licensed to fight he is not going to fight in the US.
