Ha ha ha ha Jardine got his ass handed to him from Houston Alexander what an awesome beating...Alexander should have f**k up Jardine more to assure he would never compete again.

Jardine's fights with Liddell and Griffin were meh.

I am abit concerned with the "Jardine shouldn't fight Griffin because he knocked him out but should rematch Houston" talk. My point to this is why should Houston fight Jardine he's already knocked him out whether Jardine underestimated him or not. You could say the same with Liddell underestimating Jardine so he should get a rematch (I am sure there will be one down the line). And I defo do not want to see another Tito vs Chuck fight, that would be sooo boring now and what would it prove anyway.

There are some big players in the 205 league now, so lets get some of these guys who haven't fought each other together. Personally, and it is only my opinion, I would like to see the following fights:-

Shogun vs Ortiz (he will beat Rashad next time round)
Hendo vs Jardine (winner takes on title holder)
Rampage vs Griffin (I think Griffin deserves a shot)
Liddell vs Silva (Because we have to know)
Houston vs Rashad (This will prove Houston)

I think this would start to clear up where people stand, I apologise if I have missed anybody out (I probably have).
I know, I know...Rashad you ask, "Whats he done to deserve Rampage?) Nothing really, but this could be explosive, his style was dulled against Tito, and Sean Salmon aside, Rashad doesn't really finish. They're both the same size roughly and strong as hell,
Rashad and Rampage are actually no where near the same size. Rampage is 6'1" and Rashad is 5'11". But more importantly, Rampage is much larger physically. After seeing the shape that Rashad was in in his fight against Tito, I actually think that he has a shot at making MW. On the other hand, there's no way the Rampage can cut down to MW.
One way to solve the houston alexander debate would be to have him fight liddell, then griffen could fight rampage and jardine could fight silva, the division would be clearer after that!!
That sounds good to me MO

very true. Alexander is in a position now as is Chuck. Houston on a 2 fight win streak and Chuck on a 2 loss fight streak.

IMO there is too many fights that are rematches. Jardine lost. every time you lose you shouldn't have a rematch just for the sake of getting even. thats the reason we keep having these trilogies. you lose thats it. accept it and move on. does this mean that now Hendo needs a rematch, and Shogun needs a rematch, and Gonzaga needs a rematch. it's bullshit.

Jardine KO'd Griffin, so there is no reason for him to rematch with him. I say Jardine vs. Houston
If thats your logic why should Houston have to fight Jardine again?
Only because Houston hasn't earned a title shot, Jardine just beat Liddell and the winner of Jardine/Alexander gives Alexander the chance to validate and Jardine the chance to avenge. The winner gets Rampage.

im sorry guys but the only top guy who has any business fighting alexander at this point is jardine because he lost to him. in my opinion it would be a step down for anyone in the top five to fight him, he is a newcomer with 2 fights. he needs a few more wins to get into the title picture. if they don't give forrest the title shot now then i say him and jardine rematch and winner gets rampage. silva gets shot at winner of rampage-forrest/jardine. i really think this is the way things SHOULD play out. but who knows....

Im still not 100% on Houston Alexander, he beat Jardine who understimated him and made a mistake, and Sakerra who beats himself before he steps in to fight so i dont think he should be in the top 10, My title contention status
1. Griffen
2. Jardine
3. shogun
4. Machida
5. Henderson
6. Liddell
7. Silva
8. Evans
9. Alexander
10.Ortiz

my rankings Based on wins in the Ufc
Griffen should be next no argument
Jardine with one more impressive Victory
Shogun With two wins
Machida two or one ko win over a thought opponent
Hendo two wins
Liddell three wins
Silva one or two impressive wins
Evans with a win over tito
Alexander two or three more wins
Ortiz is done Three impressive wins
The current rankings in my opinion are
1. Rampage
2. Henderson
3. Liddell
4. Jardine
5. Griffin
6. Shogun
7. Alexander
8. Silva
9. Machida
10.Ortiz

this i have based on previous fights and also capabilities to win future fights. Silva is down there as he has not yet fought in the ufc, he should fight either Alexander or Machida. For jardine or griffin to get a shot they should have to go through henderson which i cant see happening. However Ramapage needs an opponent, i would personally put him up against griffin simply because it would be a box office hit and also griffin has just beat Shogun!
Alexander vs Silva, and liddell vs jardine 2. Shogun vs Machida
Why Alexander before Machida?
