ufc fight night 11
The talented field of mixed martial artists who will compete tomorrow (Wednesday), September 19 at UFC Fight Night 11 will all tip the scales today at 6 p.m. ET.

The event will not be televised or streamed live over the Internet. However, the footage will more than likely appear on UFC.com later this evening for those who want to catch all the pre-fight hub-bub.

As usual, the weigh-in festivities are FREE and open to the public — just head over to The Palms Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, if you are in Sin City this afternoon. For more details head over to UFC.com.

UFCmania.com will pass along the UFC Fight Night 11 weigh-in results, as well as any other developments, as soon as we can.

The Spike TV special, which airs at 9 p.m. ET on September 19, features the lightweight clash between Kenny Florian and Din Thomas, providing the winner with an inside track to future title shot consideration.

Terry Martin and Chris Leben will bang one out in a middleweight tilt and Nate “Rock” Quarry will return after nearly a two-year hiatus to rematch Pete Sell, among other scheduled bouts.

UFC 76 NO DOUBT about it!!!!!

Then I would say the TUF premier. I look more forward to 1 fight per week for 12 weeks rather than 4 fights all one night with a million and a half commercials in between.

The UFC does not need Fedor. Fedor needs the UFC.

I think that what needs to happen, is for the UFC to just flat out stop contacting Fedor every half hour and riding his jock. Its ridiculous. If Fedor really wants to prove that he is the best fighter in all of mma, he would sign with the organization that had ALL of the top HW’s in the world, excluding Josh Barnett. Unless he really thinks that he can duck the UFC, sign with Mark Cuban, beat the likes of Justin Eilers, and still have everyone thinking he was the greatest of all time…

I am actually getting sick of all the Fedor talk, and ESPECIALLY that picture of him eating two ice cream cones - where did you get that picture??? LOL

Mike, I couldnt agree more. Fedor has to be my favorite fighter in the world, but Im sick of this crap. I never thought I would c the day that I was sick of talking aout Fedor, but thats how I feel. Fedor has a great chance of commig to the UFC and cementing his place in MMA history as the great Fighter of all time. I agree that at this point the UFC has to stop contacting Fedor. All its doing is feeding his ego. Since Fedor hasnt fought a top Heavyweight since Mark hunt at last years Shockwave, I hope to c Fedor drop in the mma rankings. Maybe once he slides down to like 5th place in the rankings he will realize that he is a moron for not comming to the UFC. Is Dana even still talking to Fedor at this point?

Anyone know if Mark hunt is still a free agent, or is he going back to K-1. Im dissapointed that the UFC hasnt even mentioned Mark hunt, he is tough as nails, his chin is legendary, and he is a great striker (he made cro cop run). UFC should attempt to sign this guy so he can bring the “flying atomic butt drop” to the UFC.

Also has anyone herd any news on Josh Barnett. OK he said some stupid things about Randy, and he was busted for steriod use, but you cant take away the fact that he is a great Heavyweight Fighter. Right now the only UFC fighters with a chance at beating barnett are Randy, Big Nog, and I guess cro cop since he is like 3-0 against Barnett. Many fighters have been busted for roids in the UFC and then got another chance from Dana white (Tim Sylvia). Since cro cop hasnt worked out in the UFC, Dana is in need of a couple more top heavyweights like Fedor, Barnett, or Hunt to commplete the UFC HW division.

My fightnight live predictions are:

Ken flo via unanimous decision.
Nate Diaz, 2nd round submission
Pete Sell TKO (Sell is a young, tough fighter who has had some bad luck in the UFC, I c his luck `changing for the better against Quarry who hasnt fought in 2 years and was recently kicked out of team quest, Quarry is the favorite, but Sell is my upset pick of the night.

I have no prediction for Leiben vs. Martin

These are the odds:

Kenny Florian -165
Din Thomas 135

Kuniyoshi Hironaka 170
Thiago Alves -210

Chris Leben 175
Terry Martin -215

Pete Sell 225
Nate Quarry -285

This would be an awesome event if it wasnt for all the unbarable commercials!

I don’t know, maybe it has to do with the fact Mark doesn’t want to cut weight, but signing with the UFC would force him to cut weight since you can’t weigh more than 265 lbs at the weigh in and fight in the UFC.

I did not mean to use the word ‘fact’ in my first sentence. It is by no means a fact. It is an assumption. I assumed that fat people don’t like cutting weight, otherwise, I’d imagine that they wouldn’t be fat!

Josh Barnette pisses me off, he has no respect. I keep thinking back to that wonderful knockout that Rizzo delivered to him… That always makes me smile… I hated how everytime Josh would win he would lick his hand (usually with blood on it from his face) and make a face like he was king shit… I would much rather have fedor.

If Fedor doesn’t sign by this weekend. It’s over, and none of us should ever care again. I REALLY REALLY like Mark Hunt though. THAT fool needs to get over here. He would add some great knock out highlights for the US, the guy is just so powerful.

I heard a rumor that Fedor and Dana finally agreed on the terms for a contract, but when it was finalized and presented to Fedor and his agent, the terms were changed.

If it’s true, then Dana’s a sneaky f*&k.

I will try to credit that with a reliable link/source.
