Dynamite- most ridiculous rankings i have ever seen. what are u thinknig

also shogun vs liddell??
Those rankings are not my opinion i ranked them like that so if you were looking at who has beaten who, and that really matters to Joe Silva (the ufc match maker).

Rampage is number one because he is the champ
Houston Beat Jardine who Beat Griffin who beat shogun who has beaten Rampage
Stephan Bonnar is Ranked because he has a win over jardine
Tito Beat Griffin who beat Shogun
Chuck Is inter-changeable between 5-10
Rashad Beat Bonnar who beat jardine
to anthrax. top pride fighters are coming over and losing to ufc members which aren't even top contenders. there are excellent fighters in both and i am a fan of both but compare apples to apples
Well, I have no explanation for CroCop. He lost, twice. The rumor is he was injured in his second loss, but who knows. So, those are two legit losses to two UFC HWs. However, Gonzaga does seem to be a top contender in the UFC. Kongo does not. But, it's still up in the air as to what happened in that fight. Nonetheless, those are two legit losses, but I would argue only one to a non-contender.

Herring's loss was to an incomplete (yet undefeated fighter). There is no excuse for that. But, Herring was never a Pride champ. He lost to Nogueira, he lost to CroCop, he lost to Fedor. He was an above average Pride HW, but clearly not an elite fighter. And, as I stated earlier, I'm not sure Jake O'Brien actually won a "fight." He didn't fight at all. But, I suppose it's moot, as Herring wasn't an elite fighter.

If we eliminate Herring from the equation (focusing on elite Pride fighters), the Pride record against UFC fighters is 6-3, with victories against Liddell, Franklin, Leben, Lutter, Eastman, and Sanchez and losses against Griffin, Gonzaga, and Kongo. So, former Pride fighters have defeated two UFC fighters who were the top competitors in their respective weight classes, two above average fighters, and two average fighters. UFC fighters have defeated one two former Pride fighters who were arguably one and two (Shogun and CroCop) in their weight classes in Pride.

The two top UFC fighter who got a shot at contending Pride fighters (remember, Jackson and Silva were not the top guys in their class in Pride) lost. The two top Pride fighters (I'm considering CroCop a top guy, although he was clearly number two in the pecking order) who got a shot at contending UFC figthers lost. That's a push to me.

So, there's the revised record of 6-3, with two wins against the top UFC fighters at the time.

My point is that, from this data, it doesn't make much sense to conclude that Pride is number two. They've clearly held their own, and this is admirable considering that they're fighting under new rules and in a new envirnment. UFC fighters have had to make no adjustments in that respect.

Forrest did an amazing job.
He fought and had Shogun by the balls 'til the very last twenty seconds. He didn't want it to go to the judges but he had the option of tapping him out several times. He wanted a knockout but when it's between submission and the judges,
take the submission. Way more reliable then the Judges.
"split decision."
no, not likely.

I find it interesting that when most fans talk about the lightweight division, they leave out Frank Edgar. Who else thinks that this guy is the future of the division? He looked incredible against Tyson Griffin.

I think Edgar is the only guy who can beat Sherk because his wrestling matches up and his striking is better. As much as I like KenFlo, he's not going to submit Sherk in a rematch.

And also anderson silva is not a pride guy! he only fought a few times for the organization. Was places before and after pride. fighters are fighters, prior to zuffa taking over pride, if there was a UFCvsPRIDE tournament it would all depend on if they fought in a ring or cage, makes a huge huge difference.
