Then you would have to say that Gonzaga got lucky when he took Cro Cop down. And even if that was true, and all it really took for Gonzaga to win was a lucky takedown, then he was truly the better man. Cro Cop made the choice to kick him in the ribs, Gonzaga took it like a man and caught his leg, took him down, pinned him up against the cage, mauled him with elbows, the ref made an unjustified stand up, Cro cop was dizzy and dropped his hands, then Gonzaga knocked him out cold. That was the fight summed up. It wasn't like Cro Cop was winning at any point in the fight besides the single moment when he landed a body kick.
