As did Mike Swick. They are considered “Friends Of” Full Tilt which is different than their typical pro-sponsorships.

Didnt Lindland get fired for wearing a gambling t-shirt? I wonder if Hughes will be allowed to wear one.

Well, I guess fighting, gambling, and drinking all go hand in hand. Look for Schlitz to start sponsoring him next.

Not many people know this, but in The Apostle Paul’s second epistle to the Thessalonians he describes how Jesus actually enjoyed rolling the bones. 2nd Thess. 6:8-11 — “And Jesus took the dice from Willie and he did throw them, And Daddy did need a new pair of shoes, And the number of the dice was 7, being a holy number, And to this Jesus did proclaim Booyah!”

What did Matt Hughes do to you? Don’t even tell me that you went to the same high school as him and you are one of the nerds that got picked on by the infamous Matt Hughes…

i hope Hughes and BJ fight again. Until Hughes beats him legit, BJ will always have his number. BJ PENN is the BEST welterweight and Lightweight champion in the UFC. If BJ had to fight GSP again, it would be a different story.

Hughes did beat him Legit and so did GSP. Penn is awesome but not as fantastic and unbeatable as alot of his fans try to make him out to be.

Most of us on here dont care that you Hate Matt Hughes but thanks for filling us in. Im not gonna waste me time debating or trying to find out why you hate Hughes cuz its probably from something stupid that you seen on T.V that was takin out of context or something shallow and petty like that.

cool new sponser for Hughes. Now gambling is a sin but Poker is not. I know he’s a devout Christian so its kind of diff to see him with a sponser like this. But like i said Poker isnt a sin.

I think Hughes is a good fighter but he acts tuffer then he is, too over confident. Matt Serra will probably beat his ass, Hughes will under estimate him just like GSP did. And when thats said and done GSP will beat Serra and take his belt back and hold it for a while. Hughes still gets my respect as an athlete but i dont think mania is hating, it’s just a hard to like a dickhead like hughes!

Yes he did…the UFC is wary of advertising other gambling companies due to their relationship with places like the MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay…plus there’s the Fertita’s own casinos as well. If the UFC allows Hughes to advertise Full Tilt at UFC events, then they should allow Lindland back into the UFC.

Thor: I would have to diagree. BJ’s achilles heal is his conditioning. When he comes into a fight with strong cardio, I will bet on him over any other 170, and 155 lb fighters. Can Hughes and GSP beat a well conditioned BJ Penn? Absolutely, but my money will ride on BJ.

Matt might be the most Talented asswhole I have ever seen. I wanna c hughes vs. Fitch!

That’s funny! Headknock talks about Serra and Hughes in the same paragraph, but he calls Hughes the dickhead.

Oh damn! Thats a good one!!

Serra does a huge discredit to himself, his title, and the UFC by continually acting like an a**hole New Yorker. Gonna be a pleasure to watch him get his mouth shut…

Agreed, and I hope it’s in Montreal. GSP is off from now until what, March or April? We are going to see a machine come into the Octagon and destroy Hughes (if somehow it happens to be Serra, even better, he’ll avenge his loss). After that, country breakfasts through a straw for Hughes.
