Yet, I’m sure if Hughes made a comment about his beat down of Sarah’s idol Royce Gracie, Hughes would be called classless.

It’s utterly amazing the double standard Hughes gets out through and Sarah gets away with.

I’m not a huge fan of either one. But Serra is coming off as more cocky than Hughes with all his shit talking (if that’s possible). Shut up Serra, decide it in the octagon. Besides if you keep running your mouth and you lose, you’ll look like an idiot!

Serra should be fighting someone who earned thier shot at it,chris lytle is a top 15 but is that all it takes for

Say what you want about Serra truth is he knocked out Gsp..who destroyed Hughes, I like Hughes and Serra..but the way Hughes seems to be under estimating Serra could make this a short fight..I think Hughes will easly take Serra down..be carless and get caught in an armbar or something. People think Serra was lucky against Gsp…Maybe so..But hes still a vetran to the game..Its not like hes nnever won before..And i think Hughes is in for more then he expects.

By the way, I never said “He just holds people down and tries to win a decision”. You put those words in my mouth. What I said was, “He just uses tremendous strength to hold someone on the ground. He wins too many fight decisions based on takedowns.” There is a distinct difference.

I think Hughe’s strength will be the toughest hurddle for serra to overcome. Im not sure if he can deal wit his strength. But stand up, and Ju jitsu advantage has to go to Serra. Serra has had a lot of time to prepare for this fight, how long will it be 8 months? He has to know that he had to get stronger for this fight. I expect him to b stronger than ever, but Hughes is just sooooooo strong that it still might b 2 overwhelming for him to deal with.

I hate Hughes, but I always try to look at it objectively, and I will say that Hughes is a heavy favorite for a reason, and 2 huge back to back upsets will be hard for Serra to pull off.

However in my mind, I think Serra has a better chance of upsetting Hughes, then Koschek trying to upset GSP

Hughes chances of winning are 98% serra’s chances are 2%. Serra’s only chance, brief moment there standing, punchers chance.

If Hughes’s last fight against Lytle is anything to go by, then Serra has a very good chance of taking him out. That fight was nearly as bad as watching Sanchez and Koscheck. Serra by knockout or subsmission (I hope).
