Once again Jesse Holland from UFCmania.com was back on FOXSports radio the other day with “Mr. Sunshine” Steve Cofield to recap UFC 74: “Respect.”

Jesse was sandwiched between lightweight contender Joe Stevenson and former UFC welterweight contender, Frank Trigg. During the segment, Jesse revealed his man love for Clay Guida, as well as touched on the performances of Randy Couture, Georges St. Pierre and more.
Overall, it was a solid program — Both Stevenson and Trigg had some choice words for “Babalu” and his actions against David heath. In addition, Stevenson lamented that he is not certain whether or not his broken nose will be healed in time for a November fight with BJ Penn if his number gets called.

Stevenson, u better make your nose be ready…. Dana white has taken title shots away from a lot of fighters due to injury. Shoot roids up your nose. alla Franca
What I like about Rampage is his ability to kick ass but also brings a good, competitive presence to the UFC. He’s charasmatic and funny, but at the same time, isn’t intent on disrespecting others.
Jesse Holland what are you thinking? Saying that Babalu should never fight again in the UFC. You said on this audio that if you have a grudge on someone its o.k. to shove them at the weigh-ins or “lay a jab after the bell”. Are you deprived of oxygen? It’s either all or nothing. Don’t go making the rules up as you go. Either ban everyone who has ever done this or not. I have seen guys go to sleep because they were too proud to tap so don’t act like Heath was in that much jeopardy. Quit pole vaulting over a mouse turd.
I mean if Mike Tyson can fight after biting a man’s ear off my boy Babalu can fight after holding a choke for 3-4 seconds.
Jesse Holland is so new to MMA that it shows in his arrogant arm chair knowledge of the sport. He speaks as if anyone gives
“a _ _ _ _” what he thinks.
“He should be thrown in cage with Babalu”
I think you’re being a little rough on Koscheck. He’s improved a lot since TUF and yes still has work ahead of him. But I wouldn’t write the guy off. GSP is pretty much the best fighter at WW. Yes I think Koscheck is a bit of an a$$hole at times and this loss should shut him up for a while. But I hope he works on his weaknesses and continues to improve.
I didn’t see the Babalu fight but the McFedries-Radev fight comes to mind. The UFC needs to crackdown if you will on “continuation”. If you don’t release a choke or you keep pummeling an unconscious fighter there needs to be repercussions. It’s a safety issue for the fighters and critical to maintaining status as a sanctioned sport. The UFC needs to clearly define what the line is- how many seconds- whatever. Even Penn-Pulver. Penn held it just a bit longer than he needed to.
The fight is over when the ref waives it off.
mamas boy, i am certain that penn held the rnc longer than babalu held the anaconda choke fyi.
this sucks. I can’t listen to anything at work from the MR. Sunshine website…

Apparently the UFC feels the same way I do since they released his ass…say goodbye to your hero!

I would win. Good always triumphs over evil.
