Give him AA his weight in gold, and then some! that's what it's worth to see him fight. I pissed that i've had to wait this long to see him fight. And if the Gonzago/Werdrum fight leads to contendership status i'm going to poop in my hand and throw it at Dana for putting AA up there to slug it out wiht the likes of Kongo, that jelloy bastard Silvia, CroCop, Lesner and Mir. AA's still top tier and people should realize that!

[...] In a report from Steve Sievert, Joe Silva made some comments regarding the negotiations. To sum it all up in a sentence, Silva basically stated that Arlovski had nowhere to really go and that the UFC needed to make a contract that made sense for them. Translation: Arlovski’s worth has fallen and he doesn’t deserve the big money. Is reality, is this somewhat true at all? I agree with it to an extent. Arlovski’s worth has fallen a bit while sitting the sideline. His absence didn’t help him much as far as being in the spotlight as far as a shot at the title went. With Couture coming back out of retirement and obtaining the belt, the whole picture changed at the top of the division. The big signings of PRIDE veterans also changed the potential matchups and ways of obtaining a title shot. The UFC definitely made it obvious that the PRIDE fighters coming in would see a potential shot at the title in a much shorter timespan than usual. Add that up along with Arlovski’s absence and it equals a forgotten heavyweight striker that has always excited the crowd with the exception of his last fight. [...]

Arlovski would tear Nogueira apart.
Have you seen Big Nog fight? He argueably has the greatest chin in the HISTORY of MMA. He has NEVER been knocked out and he has fought the who's who of the HW division in PRIDE for ever. Even the OLD Arlovski would not tear Big Nog apart - Fedor wasn't able to, so no way can the 'current' Arlovski - or any AA for that matter...
haha.heath herring put him on his azz.AA would definitly finish in that situation.ref shoulda stopped it when HH put him in never never land.
Guys its not like were talking about a crazy deep Heavyweight division here. Look at what we have:
Randy, Gabriel, Cro Cop, Big Nog, HH, Tim Sylvia, AA, Breandon Vera, Fabricio
Thats not really that deep. Who else am I missing? F'n Eddie Sanchez??? Marcio Cruz???
I realize that there could be some guys who move up, but there could also be some guys who move down from HWT.
Kongo, Mir, O'Brian, Cruz and Silva are all better than HH. In fact you should have HH down beside Eddie Sanchez.
Man, did I get side tracked. I was actually going to say I would like to see a Arlovski v Buentello 2. I do not think it would end the same way the first one did. In fact he should have been brought back a while ago, he is definately in my top 5 for heavyweight strikers. As the division stands at the moment though, I don't see it happening. He definately would have caused problems for quite a few.
Yeah i brought up Buentello awhile ago and noticed he was on a win streak and that we could see him in the UFC soon again. But it basically got laughed at.

Big Nog does have a great chin but I'd have to go with Cabage for the best chin
GSP4Prez, he is the EXACT reason that I included the word arguebly. I would say that Wesley Cabbage Correira and Big Nog have the 2 best chins in MMA history. If someone tries to argue that, they don't have a clue.
I give Mark Hunt the title of best chin, Check out his Cro Cop fight and his K1 fight with Ray Sefo amazing. I did not know much about Big Nog before. The first time I saw him fight was against Bob Sapp. If you want to get a true understanding of how tough this guy is, watch his fight with Bobb Sapp and look at the punishment he takes, and see if you don't think he should be counted as one of the toughest guys in MMA. I guarantee you will be a believer.
