Looking forward to Couture night. I am mainly looking forward for the UFC 74 Countdown and All Access show. Rachelle Leah is so hot; does anyone think our man Randy has a shot with her? I know Randy is with someone and is off the market, but if he wasn’t off the market; he could get Rachelle, right? I think so because he’s the man!

I hope he wins so he can fight Fedor. He’ll retire when he loses, I tend to think. Unless he has more fights on his contract, which I’m not sure about.

From what I remember, he has a 6 fight contract. Can’t help but assume there is some sort of retirement clause in there though.

I don’t think that this will be one of the top PPV’s though. As far as I know, this past December the Liddell/Tito 2 PPV was the highest selling UFC PPV to date. Then the Liddell/Rampage PPV did very well because that was the first time the UFC was getting mainstream exposure on ESPN. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong on this.

But speaking of Randy ‘The Natural’ Couture, THAT MAN IS MY HERO!!!!!!!

Was it a 6 fight contract or a 3 fight contract. I think I remember hearing in an interview that it was a 3 fight conract. Can someone chime in here with the fact on this, I’m fealing lazy.

Why is everyone getting this dreamy, faraway look in their eyes thinking about Randy pulling chicks with his tough but gentlemanly machismo? These sorts of thoughts are better left to your diaries than an open internet forum, not that there’s anything wrong with that.

For some reason, my recollection of Randy’s interview on Inside the UFC was that he signed a 4 fight contract when he came out of retirement.

I was right…it was a 4 fight deal. I found the UFCMania blog from the morning after that Inside the UFC episode….

“According to Couture, he inked a two-year, four-fight deal that will keep him in the UFC until he turns 45.”

Really? A divorce again? That’s unfortunate if true. I don’t want to jump to conclusions though, but if you remember where you saw it get back to us.

Randy divorced his wife knowing each other since high school who stuck with him through all the hard years, but once Randy became a star, he dumped her for a young hot playboy centerfold.

So obviously if Randy wins against Gabe, he will defend the belt again, in his 3rd fight of the contract, most likely against Big Nog. But if he loses, then who would he fight - that’s the bigger question. Possibly CroCop or Arlovski, so thhen the winner of that fight (RC vs CC or RC vs AA) would get a #1 contender fight (or possibly be the #1 contender depending on the current status of the HW division). So if Randy would win this fight, he would be fighting his 4th fight against the current champ, which would be either Gabe or Big Nog (in my little scenario here).

But if Randy was to lose his 3rd fight after losing his 2nd fight, you would think that he would fall from the ranks and fight a scrubby opponent. But I don’t think so, this is Randy Couture, and it would more than likely be his last fight. I truely believe that he would be allowed to chose his final opponent if this all played out. Who would it be? If Randy was giving the opportunity to chose his opponent for his final fight, who would he pick? My guesses would be Chuck Liddell or Dan Henderson. Him and Dan used to be great friends at Team Quest together, and dating all the way back to their Olympic days. But Gabe actually stopped by Team Quest Murrietta to train with Dan Henderson for a couple of weeks. When Randy heard this, he said “Well I guess you find out who your true friends are”. That would be such an awesome fight to see. Two of the best fighters in the history of MMA, and two of the best wrestlers in the history of MMA. What do you guys think?

If Fedor gets signed, and RC somehow manages to defend his belt succesfully against GG and then Nog, Fedor would be a good choice for the 4th. RC has mentioned in an interview that he would like to fight Fedor.

If he beat Fedor at 45, I would put a 5ft by 5ft poster of him in my garage.. haha..

You don’t have that poster yet? You must be the only won in the USA that doesnt have the 5×5 foot RC poster in thier house! I even have several pairs of Randy’s underwear hanging from my chandalier.

I dont see why Randy would say (Well i guess you find out who your true friends are). just because Gabe trained with Dan for a little bit. who cares i dont think its a big deal. Its not like Gabe and Randy hate eachother and are sworn enemies with Dan giving Gabe the secrets to beating Randy in the Octagon. I mean i can see Randy’s point but then again to go as far as saying your not my friend cuz Gabe trained with you not so much.

If I had to name the two gentleman with the most class in MMA, I would no doubt choose Randy Couture and Dan Henderson. I really hope that there is no beef between these two.
