That is what I admired back then compared to today's UFC generation. I agree with you that the level of skill has increased tremendously and I never miss a fight just like everyone else on this site. It's the attitude of the fighters that has sadly started to diminish since the old days. Guida's attitude towards bringing it reminds me of those days. Plus, I agree with Just1Fix, Guida has a very solid ground game. Now it seems like the big goal is to score an all-access show and to show your place a la MTV cribs. Bring back the war mentality! Competition is the best now agreed but I wasn’t taking so much about actual MMA skills when I spoke about the old days of UFC but rather the attitude that the guys had.
