Us Canadian take our partying just as seriously as we take our work. It’s not like “blanket” has the skills to actually hurt GSP, so win or lose, he’s going to be in good shape to party after fight.

A lot of these fighters have after parties. they’re not “only if i win the fight” parties, so you have to plan then in advnace.

I like GSP is “going in the wrong direction” after one loss. Please save that comment until after he loses to Koscheck. (i think GSP will win)

MMACrossfire said “It’s a chance for these guys to cut loose after many weeks of essentially no personal life (training).”

your kidding right? GSP was parting leading up to his fight with matt serra. he doesnt take his training seriously.

GSP should easily wipe the cage with kos. if he doesnt win in a dominating fashion then he need to start training at a higher level.

kos is just a wrestler and the only guy kos lose to wrestling was the guy that gsp beat. so wrestling wont even matter.

kos doesnt look strong enough to even take gsp down. kos is cut but gsp will come in heavier and with more muscle and should be able to stay up on his feet.

kos beating sanchez is laughable at best. neither guy did anything with us later finding out about the staph infection.

so if kos couldnt put away diego at 50% how is he gonna beat gsp? LnP wont work for kos this time and his wild swinging is his best chance for a knockout. kos has speed but so does gsp.

unless GSP walks to the cage with a beer bottle in his hand i give the fight to GSP via ref stoppage. GSP will use them kicks and kos will shoot, gsp will stuff, ill look foward to the fight but see it being boring with rogan saying “these guys are giving each other alot of respect” as they circle the cage for the first round.

I wonder if we will see the best GSP ever in this fight against Kos? The invincibility of GSP was broken by Serra, but I think GSP could regain that invincibility, but he will have all he can handle with Kos. If the fight goes to a decision; Kos might take it.

I dont know how smart it is to actually book a spot for an after party especially if you lose. On the other hand, if you win a fight in Vegas, everyone knows and therefore you can roll up with 50 heads if you wanted to, cut the line, and get all the bottle service you wanted just because your a UFC fighter of a high caliber who won a big fight.

It is gonna suck when Josh Koscheck physically punishes him, the “Empire Ballroom” may give the VIP treatment to Couture and Koscheck.

Do you really think he is setting this up. I am sure he gets paid more than what KOS is getting paid to fight just to let a bar host his “Official After Party”. If you would get paid to attend a party, wouldn’t you? Don’t blame the canuck for taking advantage of the opportunity presented to him by an American. I am sure he didn’t go up to them and say, can you please host my after party because I really want to have a few drinks and get shit faced. He is young and he is allowed to enjoy life. 99% of us would do the same at that age and having tail handed to you on a plate everywhere you go.

Not bad eh?

BustYourFace-I am sure there are Americans that do the same, but they are all smart.

yeah mma predictions about who beat who aren’t going to matter here in this match. Koscheck could beat hughes, he’s the better wrestler and fighter. Hughes standup is non-existent as far as outstriking or counterstriking, and koscheck despite all haters proved he can win against another top fighter in a standup match i.e.(dirty sandwich who’s stand up is better than hughes, not sick just outclassed typical excuses from a ufc goldenboy wannabe). Personally I have no opinion of koscheck’s attitude or, whatever from the TUF show, maybe that’s why I’m a fan( just watched his dynamic ring movement.) I know that ST.Pierre has never quite faced this type of wrestling skill,( sherk=joke at 170 well joke always now, otto olsen = not a fighter a wrestler, he never really advanced as a fighter just rested on his laurels,Trigg= didn’t show up to fight and didn’t get a lucky dirty groin kick or eye gouge overrated dirty fighter no class, Hughes = I defend against a takedown and have free rain in standup because he’s a ufc goldenboy and interim champion who might have won that match if GSP wasn’t such a dirty fighter like trigg, going around kicking people in the johnson and what not. I hope the ufc in the future gives the real fighters like serra and koscheck future gigs. St. pierre will be outclassed and he will be ineffective in the standup game against a superior physical speciman who has had time to bring his standup up to speed, go AKA. GSP will not show up in typical fashion as fans would like to see because he has never faced this type of opponent, not even hughes despite his credentials could stand up to koscheck in the octagon and expect hole heartedlly that he would win. Koscheck showed all haters that he can win a standup match and doesn’t have to live alone on wrestling skills in the octagon. However all fans can say is Diego was sick HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Hope GSP got his diagnosis before the fight as well. He will have plenty of time to think after as well as the fans when a good fighter looks bad and a great fighter wins.

Battered by the blanket not gonna happen if it goes to the Dec GSP will still take it. Kos wont even know how to handle himself with a superior healthy GSP in the Cage with him. He will be making mistakes left and right and GSP will be there to capitalize on every wrong move. Leaving Kos in confusion with nothing but excuses left for all “The Blanket” fans.

Hands d0wn this is one of the funniest things I have read in a while.

I absolutely love MMA. I remember ordering the first UFC and have followed and watched most of them since. i am an avid fan in general. I have trained a bit, but one thing I must say is that as much as I absolutely love MMA, but come one you guys that over analyze and do not look at the big picture. Come on, the fighters are normal people. They are allowed to have a life outside of UFC, aren’t they? Chance are the club asked George to have the party their or his PR man put together the party. Is he not allowed to party whether he losses or wins? Some of you all take every word way to seriously. None of us live their lives so maybe we are not the ultimate authority on their training schedule, lives, and habits.

CRANE WINS, I must say, I agree with all of about 2% of your long post above.
Koscheck could beat hughes, he’s the better wrestler and fighter.
KOS is NOT a better fighter than Hughes. If he was, he would have had the WW belt by now. KOS is a blanket, and Hughes is a master a GnP. Also, Hughes is physically stronger than KOS.
koscheck despite all haters proved he can win against another top fighter in a standup match i.e.(dirty sandwich who’s stand up is better than hughes, not sick just outclassed typical excuses from a ufc goldenboy wannabe).
If you still don’t understand that Diego was not only ’sick’ but also was told that he would have to retire about a month before the fight, and then found out that he can fight just weeks before the fight. I am not a fan of Diego, but he brings it everytime. He was not himself in the KOS fight. Everyone was able to tell that there was something seriously wrong with him. And don’t even say he was being hesitant because he respects KOS’s standup. If KOS had any sort of standup skills he would have KO’d Diego no problem in thier fight. NO ONE in the WW division respects KOS’s standup.
sherk=joke at 170
A joke at 170? That’s where he fought MOST of his career against larger opponents. And you know what, his only two losses in his career were to Hughes and GSP. His record is like 44-2. Please let me know when KOS can say the same. Currently, he already has a loss to Drew Fickett, and other than beating Diego at 20% health, he has beaten a handful of nobodies.
St. pierre will be outclassed and he will be ineffective in the standup game against a superior physical speciman
