Jess Liaudin will meet Anthony Torres — not Anthony Johnson — at UFC 75: “Champion vs. Champion” in a preliminary welterweight bout on September 22 from the O2 Arena in London, England, according to UFC.com.
Johnson is “sidelined” with a shoulder injury.
Torres is a former contestant on season two of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF). Luke Cummo sent him home early via unanimous decision in episode eight. He has one official fight inside the Octagon since that time — a submission win (rear naked choke) over Pat Healy at UFC Fight Night 6 in August 2006.
Liaudin — a British fighter who is training with PRIDE FC Middleweight Champion Dan Henderson at Team Quest for this bout — submitted Dennis Siver via armbar in round one of their bout at UFC 70: “Nations Collide” in his Octagon debut. The “Joker” is also looking to extend a four-fight win streak.
UFC 75 features the unification bout between Henderson and UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson. Michael Bisping will meet Matt Hamill in a 205-pound tilt, and Mirko Cro Cop will look to rebound against fellow heavyweight Cheick Kongo.

Damn, that sucks. I was looking forward to seeing Anthony Johnson sending Jess Liaudin to tell his Momma that his ass got whooped.
I can’t wait to see Rampage get his ass kicked. Hendo is the man. I can really care less about the other fights, which are big names but bad match ups. I’m paying just to watch that clinic.
If the Drwal-Silva fight isn’t aired, it will be a total sham.
crop cop kongo will be a great fight(kickboxing match) they should have fought in America since us Americans(the most ignorant fans in the world) only wanna c striking… god forbid we actually cheer for a great grapplimg match!
msirmixalot what silva is on that card?

Thiago Silva vs. Tomas Drwal — light heavyweight bout. Should be a good one.
It will be a good fight. I’m tentatively picking Drwal to win with a 2nd round KO. I may change my mind later on. Same with the Hendo and Rampage fight, I am leaning towards Hendo. However, Rampage is going to come out ready to fight and it should be a war. It could definitely go either way.
Torres had a decent win last year against Pat Healy at UFC Fight Night 6. I’m not sure yet but I’m probably leaning towards him against Liaudin.
Thanks Mania
Have u heard any rumors on who Eaven Tanner will fight?
Aww man, I was really hoping that Anthony Johnson would have fough Jess Liaudin and got KTFO in 10 seconds. That way he could have went home crying “Mommy, Mommy, I just got knocked out by a cracker with a girl’s name!”

Pls someone explain to me is it gonna be two belts, one belt , no belt on the line that evening or what the hell does unification bout imply?
Didn’t Torres get his ass straight beat up on TUF, not the finale but the regular show? Anyway, who cares about that fight anyway.
Liaudin is *French* actually
But lives and works in London.
