yeah hughes got punked by hallman twice in under 20 seconds combined so, I'll rest assure that by your analogy that since trigg beat hallman that now trigg is better than hughes. Sorry that isn't quite true and otto whoever ,is not the caliber fighter as Koscheck he just won a wrestling match.
Why did Kos beat Hallman? nope. And what was that like 7-8 years ago. While Hallman faded into the IFL. hughes went on to become champion. And im not using MMAth analogies. Im well aware of Hughes Record. Im just saying with Kos's striking being at the skill level its at Hughes wouldnt have to much trouble since he has faced more experienced strikers. Its more of an experience thing than well this guy beat that guy thing.

Not quite. John im not the only one who happens to think GSP is a better technical striker. Majority vote says GSP will win by early stoppage what is at now 65%. I get it you like Kos you think Kos will win thats cool. I think GSP will win we will see soon enough.
Be surprised on Aug. 25th , I expect Crane to submit Huerta as well as Koscheck pulling it out against GSP. Unpopular predictions but, I got to go with the way i've seen each guy move in the cage, or octagon. UFC 74 will be one of upsets. As far as onslaught of aggression Koscheck completely neutralized dirty sanchez and made him look like a bitch. IDK maybe some of those punches were to fast for you to see, better get a TIVO or a DVD before you lose you money betting on either of these two fights. If you remember sanchez looked pretty notted up after the fight and got frustrated when he realized Koscheck wasn't going to fight the way he wanted him to. Koscheck will have a gameplan for GSP just like he had for sanchez. Get ready for GSP to look bad in the octagon. GSP can grab his bally a run back to canada, maybe he can make some excuses on the way like dirty sanchez.
Kos had a piss poor showing against a sick Sanchez. I wouldnt be using that specific fight to try and make any points. If Kos was so great he should have destroyed Diego or at least finsihed it as bad as Diego was fighting.. I dont bet on MMA so win lose or draw im not really losing anything.Im not saying Kos has no chance to beat GSP but if you think Kos is gonna totally beat GSP into oblivion your MMA Handicapped. Whats Kos's gameplan consist of not getting massacred and try to find someway anyway to eek out a decision?
fight fans need to get off these guys johnson's (I.E> hughes St.pierre,Franklin, sylvia )where did hughes even get his belt to lose to GSP. You can toss out former welterwieght champ all you want, true fans know they equal paperbelt champions. Besides if you think hughes would want to fight koscheck your probably high. It would be scrappy but, as you will see with this next fight koscheck's standup would control the fght until it hits the ground then its time to bring the pain. St.Pierre doesn't even have that strong of punches, he bases his stand-up on a compilation of annoying legkicks and some sharp punching. But, as you saw in the Penn fight, if he couldn't have gottten the take downs he would have been hurt more on his feet. So sit back relax and Thor you will definitely see standup like in the sanchez fight , only more improved and more furious.
Hughes would dominate Kos. Out of like 46 fights he's lost only 5 times only 2 were by KO from strikes of any kind. So if he handled himself all that time without getting Ko'ed more than twice. I dont think Kos's less than average striking would be a problem. and on the ground lol gimmie a break Kos would get choked out or submitted or better yet pounded out within the round.

Hughes beat Newton to get the UFC belt the first time and GSP the second. Paper belt champions thats a pretty ignorant statement. Their records speak for themselves so dont give me that BS. Face it John GSP is better at everything Kos does. Even if Koschecks Stand-up improved 50% from his fight with Diego it wouldnt be enough to win this fight because it would still be dismal. I dont know where your getting this idea that Kos is aggressive and furious like its unseen and really he's not that aggressive or furious. And you cant even compare BJ penn with Kos in striking not even close. So i'll sit back and relax alright and watch Kos through 2 to 3 rounds get slowly and proficiently get ripped apart. Thats just how i forsee it going. Maybe Kos can wing a punch and get the KO he better hope he can cuz his bread and butter aint gonna work.
