(This photo was taken right after his win over Pete Spratt at UFC Fight Night 10 — a fight that “Barncat” predicted in the pre-fight promos would end with the “Secret Weapon” getting beat up by a nerd. Gotta love it.)

Read the article:

“McCrory said he was offered a fight against Chris Lytle recently, but his camp turned it down because of the lack of time to train and cut weight.”

I think at the level he is at right now, you should take fights where you can get them. The UFC probably is dissapointed when fighters turn down fights and dont particularly forget it when you do. (ie. W. Silva)

Did u see this fight? Barncat looked terrible until he slapped that choke on. Lytle is a veteran — not some 20 year old college kid. I love how everyone sleeps on Lytle.

Yeah and with less time to train and cut weight he would really be in trouble.

I agree.. too many people sleep on lytle. He is a UFC vet.. Good boxing, tough on the ground… and very crafty. I think lytle would have killed him honestly.

Chris Lytle has the most deceiving UFC won-loss record of anyone. He is way better then a 3-6 UFC fighter.

Keep representing Cortland University “Barn Cat”!!

But I think Lytle would have his way with this kid. “Lights Out” has never been submitted, KOed, or TKOed in his carreer of more than 40 fights (with the exception of 1 fight stopped because of a cut).

This kid is freakishly strong and wether or not he got his ass whooped he still found a way to beat a guy like pete spratt theres no “lucky” wins in the UFC i think it would go either way but this kid is no joke i seen him fight his 1st 9 fights live hes an animal
