..That is the UFC Middle Weight Champion!!! believe it or not for a long time. What he did to Rich Franklin was no accident..Nate will find out the painful way why Anderson Silva is on top of the food chain in this divison.

I just changed it — I found a better one.

This one has the standing elbow KO of Fryklund — one of my all-time favorites. It also has his loss to Chonan via flying scissor heel hook.

Unreal highlights in here.

I’ve seen most of his fights via youtube or on ppv – but after watching that complilation…Nate’s will most likely have a rough night. His hands are so quick and he picks every punch – he is definitely far and above most in regards to stand up…he’s on another level for sure. Cheers all, enjoy the fights this weekend…just found out I got tickets to watch it with and meet Joe Stevenson, GSP, Kendall Grove and Gray Maynard…autograph session, pictures, etc…Pretty pumped for it as we don’t get that much up here in Canada! I’m going to get Gray to sign my picture of him “I wasn’t out!” should be a good time…cheers.

Sick video! Thanks Mania. Silva is one BAD man…look out, Nate. My favorite is that nasty side heel kick to the temple from his back…damn, that’s a beautiful KO. The standing elbow was a thing of beauty, too. And I thought it was really cool that they actually included a couple losses in there. Very rarely do you see losses in a HL reel…I think that’s pretty classy. My only complaint with the video was the ridiculously gay and cheesy music…man was that terrible.

You better watch out Nate…the Spider’s comin’ to getcha!

Marquardt is well-rounded and extremely tough, but he is out of his mind if he thinks he has a striking advantage against Silva.

That back elbow to Frycklund is one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen. I’m still holding out hope to see Silva-Kang before too too long.

Nate’s got quite a backlog of impressive fights himself, so I wouldn’t be too quick to count him out. I posted one over at mmaspectator if you’d like to take a look.

one of the best strikers and definitely the best dancer in MMA. terry martin’s gonna regret having already used the billie jean gag on ivan salaverry if he ever faces silva

Great video. Hands down one of the best, if not the best striker in MMA. I want my Muay Thai skills to be that good!
So quick and accurate. I love the flying knee, it’s a thing of beauty when it connects.

That elbow shot was off the hook, totally caught him off guard… not to mention completely wrecking his shit.

Silva tapped reeeaaally hard, He didn’t even try to role out of it because he was taken out of his game. Silva is awesome and has beautiful Muay Thai but he is disheartened easily. I think Nate actually has the skills to take Silva out of his comfort zone. If that happens its over but that is the only way Nate will win.

I honestly don’t know since I’ve never seen the whole fight. I’ve only seen that in highlight reels. But in Pride, it’s perfectly legal to kick someone in the head when they’re on their knees so I don’t see why he would have been DQ’d for it. Unless that wasn’t Pride…but I had thought it was. Anybody know for sure? I don’t even know who it was that he kicked.

That was Yushin Okami that he kicked with the heel, and he was DQ’d for it. They talked about constantly in the lead up to UFC 72 and during. Apparently, Silva was rooting for Yushin to win against Franklin so he could avenge his DQ lose.

in my vote silva is deff one of the best , if not the best, fighter out there. usually like said earlier the only way he ever gets beat is being pushed out of his comfort zone. his knees, elbows, and submissions are deadly. so if someone can withstand that and come back with more technique/power then that would be how he would get beat
