Once again — in concert with our partner Luke Thomas over at BloodyElbow.com — we’re back with our pre- and post-fight online radio program, “Any Given Saturday,” this weekend for UFC 73: “Stacked.”
The man who gave UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva a scare in his last fight at UFC 67, Travis Lutter, will join the show to talk about the main event of the evening between “The Spider” and Nathan Marquardt.
Lutter will also touch on his return to the Octagon at UFC 74 in August against Ryan Jensen and whatever else you want to ask him.
Yep, call-in and get your 15 seconds of fame — this is going to be a great program.
UFC 73 is such a blockbuster event that we decided to make it two total hours of non-stop discussion BEFORE and AFTER the fights — one hour before (from 9-10 p.m. ET) and one hour after (whenever that may be).
There’s nothing like “Any Given Saturday” out there right now, and it is a great and FREE way to discuss all the action with our guests and colorful host, Luke.
So if you’ve got something to say, or just want to listen to some knowledgable people talk about UFC 73, here’s what you need to do:
VISIT: “Any Given Saturday” this Saturday, July 7 (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/anygivensaturday)
CALL: (646) 478-5091
WHEN: From 9 - 10 p.m. ET and immediately following the PPV broadcast
Oh yeah, and the good folks at BetUS.com have donated some solid giveaways once again.
Don’t miss this show!

Call the show. Often.
Why on earth is Lutter getting so much play? “He almost beat Silva” “He almost made weight”

He might have some perspective here. That’s why we’re talking to him.
LIST ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS FOR HIM HERE.

Might? I’d say he has damn good perspective despite everything that happened. The dude made a big mistake, but that doesn’t take away from his experiences against Silva and others. I can’t wait to hear what he has to say about everything that happened, to be honest.
Lutter is a great fighter but the weight thing will always haunt is integrity and his heart
I’m curious about the UFC 67 aftermath — after the dust settled — what his relationship is like with the UFC now. Is it weird or business as usual? How many fights are on his contract?
I’d also like to know more about his upcoming opponent, Ryan Jensen, and what he brings to the table.
Give the guy a break. He missed weight by 2 lbs, just a miscalc. He tried to get to 85 and looked pasted, but he was dominant in the Silva fight until the triangle.
I will never understand the mentality that if a guy misses weight his career is over. I would like to see a lot more of Lutter in the future.
Mania,
Ask Lutter his favorite BJJ submission hold.
I would also like to know his diet after weigh-ins and before the fight.
