Pulver had to stop cardio (or limit) to gain enuff wieght for the BJ fight. He has a renewed fan base and a new outlook from coaches view, 145 is HIS class He will dominate lol. End of story.

Man, people bring this fight up every single time someone mentions Urijah Faber. So what!? Fedor lost once too, Chuck lost 4 times and Randy even 8 times. But Fedor’s loss came from a doctor stopping the fight 17 seconds into the fight from a cut caused by and illegal elbow…and since it was a tourny there had to be a loser. Just wanna clear that up.

I love Jens…I had the pleasure of meeting him in Vegas for the last WEC fight, and he is definately very down to earth and humble. I’d really like to see him make a comeback, and I think he is definaltely very capable of doing it. I can’t wait to see the fight on Sept 5th!! You are so right MrFye, Jens definately won me over on TUF5. I used to like Penn, but seeing him on the show changed my mind.

what because he lost to penn? penn is the best fighter pound for pound there is. and you know what,,? pulver beat him, broke him in that fight.

i do think penn is a better fighter overall no question. but jens pulver is one of my favorites and will continue to be.
the guy has been a fighter from the day he was born. he had to be. one of the most exiting fighters in the game.

yo jens good luck for the rest of your career homie,,,,remember going up to lester,,,,and i knocked your cousin taylor out ..lol. that was cool. now i can say, who jens pulver,,,yeah i knocked him out,,err well his little cousin taylor anyway. jk

First off, Jens wont get to fight Faber…He has to go through some tough competition before he even gets a CHANCE to fight him. Nobody is mentioning who Jens is fighting Sept 5th…Jens will lose on sept 5th to Cub Swanson. Cub has a superior ground game, and has very good standup skills…he just chooses not to use them often. There are other fighters in the 145lb class that can beat Jens as well…you are all giving him too much credit. He is on his way out at this point…just look how BJ dominated him…

Jens has indeed fought at FW and is undefeated. It’s hard to recognize Pulver’s skill at LW because that division has changed so much since his reign… Gotten really big I mean (literally). I’m confident that we will see the old Jens in WEC. As for beating Faber, I wouldn’t doubt it, but will wait to see Pulver’s fight against Cub Swanson to make that prediction.

Hey wasn’t Jens the 145lb champ in what is said to be the toughest lightweight division in the world, SHOOTO. I’m pretty sure Jens dominated that organization, if you haven’t seen any of the fights just check out the Pulver vs Ueymatsu fight then tell me whose the best 145lb’r.

If Jens gets more confidence and training on his ground game and he keeps up the hunger, conditioning and training like he did for the Penn fight, anything’s possible for Pulver. He knows he needs to work on his ground game and actually did a decent job of defending in he Penn fight. If Penn had not got the submission and went 3 rounds with Pulver, I think you would have seen a different outcome to that fight. I can’t wait to start seeing this guy more on TV. He’s awesome!
