See Shrek is going to lose for sure now. He is holding that belt just like Tim Sylvia. That’s gotta be bad luck like stepping on the chalk line in baseball.

I hope Sherk gets his (ass wooped dude) as evrey American says.
He Pi**ed me off when him and Hughes were laughing like hyenas at GSP when he lost to MS resently.
I would like to see Tito win but im not exactly gonna be all broken up about it if he dosent.
I like Anderson Silva hes great and I def want him to win,for some reason he appears very intimidating to me even more so then any other fighter,I dont know why just somthing about him.
It is gonna be a great UFC event and I cant wait to sit and watch it with a shandy or two.

mcanena, what does Hughes and Sherk owe GSP? The obviously wanted Serra to win and they were probably happy with the outcome considering how unlikely it was. That was an exciting fight, I like GSP but he needs to learn how to get his head in the game if he wants to be champ (once he does, watch out!). I don’t think Hughes meant any disrespect to GSP after that fight. Hell he could have been happy cuz he won a bunch of money betting on Serra, we will never know the context of it. Most likely he just was happy he would be facing Serra instead of GSP. Personally I think Serra’s got his number though.

With all the recent events I almost forgot that UFC 73 was on its way. This card definetly has the potential to be a night to remember. Hope A.Silva wins, Hermes beats the crap out of Sherk and don’t really care if Ortiz or Rashad end up KO’ed, but I wanna see a war.

Maybe the UFC decides to cut a few minutes from their 40 minutes of commercials and crappy previews for UFC 74 and instead show us at least 7 of those 9 fights. The undercard is just too good not to be aired. Bonnar, Lytle, Edgar should be fun to watch and Big Nog should school Herring.

That’s wishful thinking. You know they would never treat us to get to see what we paid for. They always fill shit in with videos when they could be showing fights.
Am I the only one that wants Sherk to win?

Anderson Silva is my favorite fighter (even though I’ve been called a racist on another thread here). He seems to have super human strength and speed. He ended a fight against Tony Frykland (in Cage Rage?) with this messed up back elbow that knocked him cold. It was like he was goofing off when he knocked the guy out. Just shows how calm and confident he is in his abilities. And zero trash talking.

I agree I’d like to see Sherk lose because he’s sat on the belt for 9 months. He should have had at least one or two defenses in that time.

Anyone else think Marquardt is gonna be a highlight reel KO for Anderson?
I think Anderson is a great fighter, but he is the Tim Sylvia right now of that division. Only other fighter that can challenge him is Rich Franklin… outside of that, there isnt any blockbuster, top card names that will walk in the Octagon and get much respect if any.

All of you guys who think Silva will walk through Marquardt are kidding yourself. Nate is the most well rounded fighter at 185 and he has only showed a little of his arsenal. He will put Silva through the canvas, and snatch that belt from the Spider’s web. Seriously guys, Nate is a freak and I can not wait to see him let loose.

I also hope Tito smashes Rashad, Sherk gets f&%ked on, and Minotauro desposes of Herring.

Tito is not the new Ken Shamrock by any means. If he loses well than ya he is lol. Don’t get me wrong I think Tito is the shit. Ya he lost to Chuck because he had the balls to stand with him….if he was smart enough to GNP he would have won. Tito’s shit talking is awesome imo. It makes fights not boring.
