what? just recently dana white handed $5,000 each to dan barrera and ben saunders of tuf 6. he gave jens “lil evil” pulver $10,000 for winning a ping pong game in tuf 5 (much congrats of course jens). the pay scale is all messed up and lopsided. no wonder randy couture said the hell with the organization.

u gents r simply off the mark. yes boxing is an exception at the highest level. even boxing falls into line below the super stars boxing pays pretty low. small shows run around $100 per round. some other examples of individual sports beginning w/ the highest winnings:
Nascar #1 winner made 7 mill for 40 events with the highest competitive cost including cars and a crew of 15.
golf #1 winner 7 mill for 20 events with cat getting 10% salary.
mens tennis #1 9 mill for 25 events while footing travel bill across world for self adn coach.
it drops significantly after that.
now these guys make plenty of money as a moving bill board and that is where the fighters will make thiers IF the sport atracts the public long term in mass.

Casey I am just curious to know how you know Leonard. I have just been trying to get ahold of him or his brothers, we lost touch when I left to the Marine Corps 11 yrs ago. yall wana help leonard get paid, heres what u do… U e-mail ufc and press the huerta garcia fight for fight of the year. vote/ make some noise about it and big len and roger split 100k. but i know him and the kid just loves to fight. no bullshit from fightn in west texas shoot fights n shit to a weekend at the palms, w/ a lobster dinner to boot shit old boy still smilen. hed bang with anybody any time just for fun trust me he aint upset about it.
