Rashad Evans, Nathan Marquardt and Keith Jardine — top UFC fighters and members of the Greg Jackson camp in Albuquerque, N.M. — are perhaps the focus of an upcoming reality show, according to a recent press release from It Girl PR.
The agency mentioned the pilot project in an announcement that it retained Raz Entertainment and Producer/Actor Wali Razaqi as a client.
Here’s the snip:
“… 2007 is a groundbreaking year for Raz Entertainment as it ventures into television, with a new reality sports series, and a pilot involving Ultimate Fighting Championship stars Rashad Evans, Nate Marquardt, and Keith Jardine.”
Nothing is concrete at this time … hence the term “pilot.” On the Raz Entertainment Web site, there is also an action film set in “the world of Ultimate Fighting Championships” currently in development.
It seems like the company has a fascination with mixed martial arts and the UFC in particular.
Of course, Evans and Jardine have already had a taste of what it’s like to be a participant on the reality show — both were featured heavyweights on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season two in 2005.
Evans went on to defeat Brad Imes in the finale to capture the title.
It’ll be interesting to see what — if anything — comes of this project. I’m willing to bet, however, that it doesn’t include being isolated in a house with 16 other fighters with no television, Internet access or contact with the outside world for six weeks.
It doesn’t seem like anyone ever wants to relive that experience.

This sounds dumb but w/e I’ll probably watch it lol.
I dont get it, so what are they planning.
“In a world where all fights are Ultimate….”
I didn’t know those three were in the same camp. So I guess they will play keep away on future fight cards too?
Of course Marquardt is middleweight and the other two are LHW… before I get flamed over that last post.
Mamas Boy… There has been a few dicussions from Rashad and Jardine about not fighting each other. FYI =D
Jackson is supposed to be a pretty animated fellow. Is it gonna be like Tapout? They gonna go more into fighter’s personal lives (I seem to remember Rashad’s wife being a bit loud at a few of his fights…)
I like Jardine, I think he is cool as hell, and when not acting like a monkey has a lot of talent. Sure the dude is tough as hell too with his jacked ass teefs, former bounty hunter, and of course the ghotee and bald head. (has an errection)
I dont see this drawing in millions of viewers but I’m sure the MMA market will tap in to see the hype. They should be careful with reality stuff. TUF has already been riding that fine line, especially with that Rudiger stunt this past season.

Also have Diego Sanchez and Jason McDonald in that camp. I wonder what station they’ll be on if infact this works…honestly, I’m all about reality shows…but won’t this be overkill if it’s the same 3 every week?…just a ?,…I do enjoy watching them fight, but how many hours of watching these 3 train can I endure?
??????, I am not sure if I get it? I guess we will have to wait and see.

what is there not to get?
Jardine is the meanest fighter in the world, he’s even the dean of it.
