I watched this on the webcast. What a snooze fest!! Mir looked like he out weighed Babalu by at least 30lbs. It was billed as more of an “exibition” than an actual match. They only went 1 six minute round. I figure it was just a way they could make a little money and not risk injury. I hope to see them both back in the UFC. I think Babalu has one fight left on his contract but I don’t know about Mir. If anyone knows leave a post.

Sobral will be back for sure. Mir might be finished with the UFC though.

Sobral should get the loser of Tito-Rashad, Rashad has beaten Lambert and Lambert KO’ed Sobral…wait…maybe Sobral should get the winner of Bonnar-Nickels…Mir is on his last leg…the only fight I want to see Mir in is against Big Tim which we won’t ever see, I don’t even care who would win that fight either..I just want to make sure one of them loses!

LOL…does anyone really care about the 6ft 8″ Neanderthall and the “crashing” Mir anymore? They should’ve fought over 3yrs ago…now I won’t pay to see or hear about it!

Babalu is one of the best fighters out there! He suffered a bad loss in his last fight, it happens(remember cro cop?) he will bounce back and go on a three or four win streak and be right back on top as a contender!

Mir has one more UFC fight left in him. If he doesnt turn it around he’s for sure done for it. I was just looking at some old Mir fights a couple of days ago and damn do I miss that guy. The second Wes Sims figh, Tim Sylvia’s arm. As far as Sobral he will be back in the mix soon

I think he’s a pretty good color commentator. He should stick with that.

Didn’t see this one coming. Evenly matched, but Babalu outpointed Mir. Both have a lot more left in the tank and hopefully re-appear in the UFC or WEC.

I’ve only seen him do it once…u r right, he wasn’t that bad…maybe Ken Shamrock should do that too, cause he sux as a coach…good motivational speaker (not as good as Chris Farley was) but not up 2 speed with the ground game…it’s evolved 2 much since his day.

I’d love to watch this fight…to see Timmy destroy Mir. Mir was once a special fighter (pre accident)…but has now been reduced to a journeyman.

Or even Mir submission wins over Tank Abbot or Pete Williams were sick too. Mir needs to get back into shape if he wants to be a serious contender in the UFC from now on. If he wins at UFC 74 then hes back on track but a loss and hes done.
