It’s official:
Michael Bisping and Matt Hamill will meet in a light heavyweight bout at UFC 75 on September 8 in London, England, according to UFC.com.
Just last week, we passed along news that Ticketmaster.com announced the showdown on its Web site. In the wake of UFC 72, however, just a few days later FightNetwork.com claimed that Ken Shamrock would face “The Count.”
Then, two days ago Dave Meltzer reported that the Shamrock announcement was an error and that Hamill was indeed still the opponent.ÂÂ
The back-and-forth speculation has been nothing short of maddening. It’s good to finally get the official word on this fiasco.
While Bisping-Hamill is not a dream come true, it is a solid test for the British star.
Hamill is a phenomenal wrestler, who displayed another facet of his skill set with a first round technical knockout of Rex Holman at UFC 68 in March.
Bisping, of course, has made a name for himself as a striker, finishing nearly 70 percent of his opponents via T(KO). The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season three 205-pound winner will more than likely see a step up in competition if he can dispatch of Hamill in front of his hometown crowd at the 02 Arena.

Irishbeast2007, I couldn’t have said it any better!
yea this will be a good fight. however I would put my money on the Count!
The Count will give Hamill his first loss in the octagon.
hamil is a bad fight for bisping hes never fought such a tough wrestler and i think hamil is the best striker hes fought to
I can’t wait to see Bisping destroy this guy. Hammill may have the physical skills, but he’s cocky (as displayed on TUF), he lacks toughness (as displayed on TUF), and he doesn’t have the all round game that you need to be successful in the UFC (again, as displayed on TUF).
Irish Beast, I said it better.

LOL my sister has better stand up than Hamill, he SUCKS!

alright then tell me why he is undefeated in the octagon and he’s pretty much dominated all his opponets. yea on the show he was primarily a wrestler but now he is training his stand-up game and is a pretty damn good fighter. and being cocky is not a weakness. if anything it helps you in a fight
That was probably a typo, i think he meant Hamill is the best “STRIKEE” that the Count has fought….
Oh wait no, Hamill doesn’t like to be struck (as also evidenced on TUF)
This fight really will show if Bisping is for real or not. Basically if he really is as good as he looks and saids then he should win the first or early second round by KO. If he is overated like some say then i think Hamill will win a split decision. I for one believe in Bisping and think he is going to take it to Hamill and KO in round 2.
I honestly feel Ken would be a better challenge to Bisping. Matt is not a fighter and never will be.

Yeah you’re right, cockiness really helps…just ask Sylvia, Cro Cop, and St. Pierre (and perhaps even Lidell). Look where it got them…
And Hamill’s record in the Octagon…what is it, 1-0? You’re right, he’s been dominant – I’d rank Rex in the top 100 LHW’s. What an impressive knockout win!!!
To be fair, Hamill has the makings of a very good fighter. But good fighters have something inside, something that can’t be measured, something that I haven’t seen in Hamill. He’s gonna get beat…
I honestly feel Ken would be a better challenge to Bisping. Matt is not a fighter and never will be.
ah, so Matt Hamill is a hot dog vendor now?
If Matt Hamill was not a fighter would he be 4-0 and standing in the octagon making more money than you and I combined for stepping into a cage and fighting for only 15 minutes?
Matt Hamill is an INCREDIBLE wrestler, and is starting to adapt the ground and pound more so while working with Tito up at Big Bear.
I know I have been saying The Count wins via (T)KO Strikes in Round 2, but I am going to change my mind, and I am sure I will change it a couple more times, but I will say Matt Hamill wins via Decision in a lackluster bout that will make Deigo/Koscheck look like Fisher/Stout II

being to cocky was not the reason for any of those guys losing ther fights, except silvia but i think he was faking that cocky attitude to try and make himself sound like a cool kid. st. pierre was underconfident in himeself. cro cop ill give ya. he though he was gunna come in and take the belt no problem(so did i). but anyway back to hamill. if hamill can get it to the ground i think he can out power and out wrestle bisbing. i havent seen bisbing really be tested in the UFC. mostly he’s just been fed easy wins by his father figure dana white

That doesnt mean that Hamil isnt the best striker Bisping has faced.
There isnt anything ‘really’ about the fact that neither of these fighters has been tested, because THEY HAVENT! Im going with Hammil due to sheer strength and ground dominance. If he can last the first round, he will get Bisping on the ground and rub him out.

First off Matt Hamill no where close touches my money, plus you need to count all that training time towords his earnings as well. Second, yep that’s right, not a fighter. I care nothing of some silly little 4-0 record. That’s just who are fighting not how great you are. I say Matt won’t get through the fight without quitting or having the ref stop it and I won’t change my mind every other day till it happens.
According to Sherdog.com (history of all fighters’ bouts)
Matt Hamill defeated Seth Petruzelli.
Seth Petruzelli defeated Dan Severn
Dan Severn defeated Ken Shamrock
Dan Severn defeated Forrest Griffin
Dan Severn defeated David Abbott
Dan Severn tied with Pat Miletich
’nuff said.
Rex Holman was a NCAA Div.I National Champion for the Ohio State and Matt Hamill was 3 times NCAA Div. III National Champion. Matt Hamill kicked Holman’s ass.
Hamill is one hell of a wrestler for sure. If it was a wrestling match I think Matt could beat most of the light-heavyweight division. The style alone is not so dominate anymore. Kind of like BJJ alone for awhile was hard to beat. We learn to defend and use other peoples strength so much nowadays though. Tito used to be able to used his limited talent in that area and had great success, alas he has failed to grow in fights before and has not looked good in his standup. Trully succesful wrestlers, like Couture, learn how to be good in every area of their game. I think Hamill will fold under being punched Hard in the face is all I’m saying. (or maybe tap if he does get Bisping down) We’ll see though won’t we.
hamil is a bad fight for bisping hes never fought such a tough wrestler and i think hamil is the best striker hes fought to
HA HA HA HA HA I swear to god some of these comments make me laugh,Hamill the best stiker hes faced yet,ha ha good one I like the sarcasm.
This will indeed be a closer match than Shamrock for Bisping and one that will progress his development. A win over Hamill and Forrest is next….War Bisping!!
let me break this fight down for you…
Hammill is a strong wrestler, but his striking is absolutly laughable it is awful, did you see him fight Rex was his name, the dodgy spinning side kick thing, and the four ridiculous failed atempts at a superman punch practicly one after the other(I guess it was to keep Rex guessing right). His striking is absolutly awful!
Hammill has NO ju-jitsu and even worse as he showed on the show he is too stuborn to tap(remember Bisping left him in the hostpile doing armbar escapes).Hammill is very stuborn and he believes he is unbeatable because of his wrestling well he is in for a nasty shock….
Bisping is strong tough as f**k growing up in the north of England hes been fighting all his life, most people in the north of England have seen many brutal fights in the streets and expierienced what its like to take a vicious beating by the age of ten,I know I grew up there.
Bisping has great stand up and vicious GnP and if he hasnt prooved that already then try a diferent sport this aint for you.His ju-jitsu is excelent and he is a very well rounded fighter with huge potential.
Hammill only has one chance in this fight and that is to pin Bisping and let the time run out and the ref is not gonna let that happen infront of 20,000 jeering booing Brits.
Hammill cant be active on the ground because he will get submited.
Did you see Hamill had to go to hostpitle after geting his bell rung by a middleweight in sparring.
Hammill is gonna learn a tough lesson that wrestling is not the be all end all of MMA.For the first time he is gonna know what it feels like to take brutal punches and kicks and to feel bones in his face crunch and snap as he feels warm blood run down his face and tastes it in his mouth and it runs down his throat, that is the reality of whats gonna happen and that is the reality of MMA,this is not wrestling.
hamil is a bad fight for bisping hes never fought such a tough wrestler and i think hamil is the best striker hes fought to
Bisping fought alot of figthers over here in England that are way better strikers then Hammill,Bisping was British kickboxing champion and an amature kickboxer would destroy Hamill,Hamills standup is the worst I have ever seen in my life.
Seriuosly man I cant even say I respect your opinion this is laughable,
I hope your joking about Hamills standup coz if not that is embarrassing, its almost making my face go red with embarrasment for you.
Seth Petruzelli was an accomplished striker. According to UFC.com website:
“What ranks and titles have you held?
King of the Cage superfight champion, Cage Wars (England) superfight champion, national kumite champion (karate), world team kumite champion (karate), 2002 US open absolute grappling champion, numerous grappling and karate championship medals.”
if hamill cant take bisping down he is fucked, on the tuf any time he got hit with a decent punch or kick, he had to take the next couple of days off

I don’t know about that one. I would even say that even Josh Haynes has better stand up that Hammil. He looks like a big boxy virtual robot trying to fight without being able to bend his arms. I like Bisping alot, but I think I might be rooting for Hammil in this one. I’d feel bad for myself rooting against the guy.

Simpy put, Fighter A beat Fighter B; and since Fighter B defeated Fighters C, D, E and F then, transitively speaking, Fighter A must be better than Fighters C, D, E and F. Unfortunately, this is fighting and not a theoretical math class so it doesn’t apply. If the theoretical nature of this post wasn’t enough to completely discount, consider that Severn had to have been well into his 40s when he lost to Petruzelli but beat Abbott, Miletich and Shamrock while in his prime. Apples and oranges, my friend. And don’t bring up Randy Couture, because he is an incredibly rare exception, not the rule.
I believe Bisping will take this one. I didn’t see Matt’s last fight but I don’t think he’s up to Bispings level yet. I don’t think a gnp’er will be the one to stop Bisping either.
He’s been rocked in every fight in the UFC. The only reason he hasn’t been beat yet is because he hasn’t been in the ring with a shark like Liddell. Someone who will pounce when they smell blood. No one’s been able to capitolize on rocking him. On the show he even walked into one of Pointon’s looping right hands.
I hope he does well because he’s a great fighter with a good personality. I just think his chins a little questionable.
Matt won’t test it though and Michael takes this one in the second.
The battle of the “closed captioning” TUF fighters will be a good one. Bisping is has great standup and Hamill is an outstanding wrestler with improving standup. They were my two favorite fighters last season. I felt really bad for Matt when he won his fight and found out that he couldn’t continue. Since he never lost in the show this match is actually like the finale. Bisping is one of my favorites but I really would like to see Hamill win.
If there’s any indication that matt hamill has had beaten a quality opponent, which is seth petruzelli who is himself any accomplished striker and went to the distance with dan severn who had beaten all of those respectable names (like ken shamrock, forrest griffin, and “tank” abbott). It says alot about the legitimacy of matt hamill for being in the ufc.
Do the research yourself, morethanufc…

Rofl, Rock paper scissors bitches!
I dont see this fight as being a test for either of these guys. If Bisping is so great, he should be fighting Jardine and up… but this is a step up for Hammil, consider Bisping is so highly regaurded.
Am I the only one here that thinks that Hammil doesn’t even stand a chance against Bisping. Did I miss something? Last I saw, Hammil is a wrestler that throws uppercuts. Bisping is a machine in all facets of the game. Better striking, better clinch, better BJJ. Hell, I may go as far as to say that Bisping has the better wrestling adapted to MMA. Maybe I just need to go back and watch more of his fights, but from what I’ve seen all Hammil has is heart, which goes a long way, but you can only take so much punishment before your heart fails.
THIS FIGHT IS GONNA SUCK!!! Matt Hammill is boring as hell to watch and will just try to hold and get him on the ground the entire time. I hate Hammill. I think hes a boring ass fighter and every fight ive seen him in televised he looked like an amateur. I know everyone thinks Shamrock and Bisping would have been a bad fight but i would have rather seen that than this fight. Bisping is badass but he always seemed like a timid fighter. Plus hes never fought someone that was really intimidating. shamrock has the heart and intimidation and i bet Shamrock would have came out on top. Hammill will just mope around like a big dope like he always does and unless bisping knocks him out it will be a very boring fight.

I am big Bisping fan(obviously) but I understand what your saying here about Hammill that youd feel bad rooting against him,but this is not a sport where you can want someone to win because you feel bad that he is deaf,Ive been thinking about that myself and it realy wouldnt be nice to see him get badly beat up,however you have to remember that Hammill may be deaf but physicly he is far from disabled.
I realy do believe Hammill is gonna be in a world of pain in London and it might be hard to watch.

Why would you throw that last line? You bust out a simple math theroy and apply it to mma and now your king shit? Your theory got destroyed by guys who know UFC and MMA…
It appears that Matt Hamill is greatly underestimated by some people here. Granted, his stand up sucks, but I’ve seen it improved a lot in his last fight against Rex Holman. He held his fists up all throughout the fight and looked bit more crisp than all of his previous fights. I can only imagine how much improved his standup would be in the coming fall. So, my gut says to go with Matt Hamill.
And did I mentioned that Rex Holman was a NCAA Div. I National Champion for the Ohio State? And Matt Hamill was three-time NCAA Div III National Champion for the Rochester Institute of Technology?

Agree… Bisping should put this one away. I’m just glad it’s confirmed rather than Shamrock fight
I’ve read the reports and I’ve seen the news. But I still don’t know who the hell is going 2 win this fight. Being that my name is also Matt and I’m from NY, I’ll go with Hamill. He used 2 be friends w/ my older step brother. This is a war that could go either way. Good luck gentlemen, and may the better fighter win!

I myself have done kickboxing for a long time and I can tell you that Hamills standup is HORRIBLE,it is so bad it makes it hard for me to believe that some people cant see it.Believe me when I tell you it would take a mirical from God to make Hamill able to strike with Bisping by autumn, people saying he was keeping his hands up oh yeah thats great hes realy learning the technical aspect of standup fighting now isnt he,to me it looked as though if he has a standup coach he needs to fire him,I didnt even see him use a jab or try and make punches flow in aany basic combinations. When Bisping said Hamills striking on TUF3 looked like two drunks outside a kebab shop I
disagree,I think alot of British drunks will be very offended by that,Bisping may of lost the support of alot of British drunks for this insult.
Mcanena,
Well, I doubt you can do any better than seth petruzelli. He has pretty good stand up and won some championships. Any man who can win a championship should be considered as more than just “good”. You may think it appears to be quite simple but once someone take you down then it’ll be whole ‘nother game. Easier said than done. Not everything is as easy as it seems. I’m a wrestler myself and I usually think “I can do better” but once I get on the mat, that mentality changes pretty fast.
Bisping is going to destroy Hamill. If Hamill takes it to the ground he is going to get submitted. If he stands up he is going to get knocked out. Once Bisping hits him in the mouth he is not going to know what to do, he is going to cry and want to go and get a Cat Scan. This is a definite step back for the Count. He should be fighting bigger names.

You would huh? You sure it’s not just a talk? Hey, y’know, whatever float your boat. Go ahead and go to Matt Hamill’s training center and prove it. His training center is in Utica, NY where he is currently training to fight with Michael Bisping.
I’m only an hour and a half away from Hamill. 45min if I was flooring it. I’m sure he could get a waiver for anyone who thinks they can take him on the mat. Like KOS did that fan who wanted to fight him. I just hope Hamill works on his cardio, or else it could be a long night 4 Matt!
Hamill is a very good and continually growing fighter. His training with Tito is already paying off. He’s a world class wrestler and his striking has improved tremendously. I think he’s going to give Bisping a run for the money.
And, who did Bisping defeat? Haynes who’s 40 pounds overweight? Or, Pointon who talks a better game than he fights? Ah, Sinosic? *everyone* beats Sinosic. He’s in for some real competition this time around.
Oh, yeah, I remember Haynes. He’s that guy with the weird mohawk and the flappin’ love handles.

yeah thats right I would beat him in a kickboxing match, his standup is horrible,I live in Essex England so its a bit far for me to go to have a kickboxing match with Matt the Hammer Hammill but while hes in London (after he gets his head kicked in by Bisping) if hes still up for it then I will meet him,
I beleive I did say not an MMA match,he is about 2 stone heavier then me so I couldnt deal with his wrestling but Id love to smash his face up in a kickboxing fight,I doubt he could even land one punch
We dont wrestle in school here so that could be an issue
so basically the conclusion is bisping is gunna kik his hed in and rise up the rankings

His punches are so predictable did you watch his fight against Rex Holman, where can I see this fight against Seth Petruzelli,I would be fasinated to watch it.
You would huh? You sure it’s not just a talk? Hey, y’know, whatever float your boat. Go ahead and go to Matt Hamill’s training center and prove it. His training center is in Utica, NY where he is currently training to fight with Michael Bisping.
yeah thats right I would beat him in a kickboxing match, his standup is horrible,I live in Essex England so its a bit far for me to go to have a kickboxing match with Matt the Hammer Hammill but while hes in London (after he gets his head kicked in by Bisping) if hes still up for it then I will meet him,
I beleive I did say not an MMA match,he is about 2 stone heavier then me so I couldnt deal with his wrestling but Id love to smash his face up in a kickboxing fight,I doubt he could even land one punch
The Count will be victorious
123boogie,
Why don’t you just come out and admit that you are related to Matt Hammill. Christ…Bisbing has not fought the elite guys yet in any way. I will admit that. However, there is a big difference between fighting Eric Schaffer and Sinosic as compared to Seth Petruzelli and Rex “I am a nobody” Holeman. The count has also fought under the lights on the main card and understands the pressure. Mrs. Hammer was annoying on TUF and I hope he gets abused in London.
nah, I’m not even related to him. I’m probably just being a wrestling-bias since Matt Hamill is a wrestler himself and I too was a wrestler. You can’t really compare apple and oranges when you compare Seth Petruzelli and Rex Holman to Eric Schaffer and Sinosic. Perhaps, we could have these guys fight with each other and see which’s the better fruit. Oh did I mentioned that Rex Holman was NCAA div. I national champion for the ohio state? and Seth, he was karate champion somewhere.. hmm
About Hamill on TUF, that’s your own opinion. Here’s my own opinion, Mrs. Bisping was ignorant and vindictive on TUF. He was also envious of the fact that Matt Hamill was getting all the attention from Tito. Bisping, in his own home country, sees this as a “must win.” So… pressure? that’s a given.
Bisping is 15-0-0 Hamill is 4-0-0. So Bisping looks like the better fighter, Matt is also a good fighter. He’s a very strong wrestler and Bisping hasn’t proven himself against that style yet in the Octogon.
I still think Bisping will win because he’s more aggressive and (this is debatable) a better striker. Matt’s best chance is on the ground but even then, we’ve seen Bisping hold his own beating Elvis S and Eric S although they were Ju Jitsu fighters.
Either way it looks like a great fight, plus on the card we have Rampage against Henderson and Cro Cop is back against Kongo so it should be a great event.
Bisping is a big mouth rookie fighter. He has skill but is no where near the level of “tough guy” that he thinks he is. One thing is for sure, he is about to get his rear end busted up soon and I will be right there laughing my rump off at him too. The tough guys in this sport ALWAYS go down in flames and he is well on his way. The tougher the competition for him the more likely we will see him beat like a kid and look like he had no business in the ring. I can think of several REAL contenders that he needs to get in the ring with LONG before a fight with Chuck or Rampage. Talk about a mopping up job! WHEW! Bisping is a punk with a big mouth. NOTHING more nothing less. In fact, I think his ass is cleaner than his mouth. It will be a blast to watch him get the crap beat out of him and it is ON THE WAY! I hope Hammil is the one but I would much rather see a REAL pro kick his ass then he can talk crap about what a step down it is for him to fight someone like Hammil. What a jerk THE COUNTESS is!

I garuntee you the tougher the competition Bisping goes up against the better he will fight,Matt Hamil is going to get KOed when he comes to London and I have my ticket to watch it.
Anyone Counting Matt Hamill Out in This Fight has got a REALLY
Big Surprise Coming. Matt is Gonna Pound Micheal. He is Bigger and Stronger and Has World Class Olympic Caliber Wrestling Skills To Back Up His So called “Cockyness”. Apparently the only people who have Done Their Homework on this Fight is The UFC. My sources Tell Me Bisping did not even wanna take this Fight cuz he knows Hamill can beat him which will be an embarassment if it happens on his Home Turf in England.
Facts abouts Hamill: Tito Ortiz Once said he believes
Hamill Could Be The Next UFC Light Heavyweight Champion.
He is Widely Reguarded as Being Insanely Strong perhaps the overall strongest in The Light HEAVY Division Besides Rampage Jackson.
Dont Be Fooled By The Odds Hamill Can Win This Fight if he
can avoid making it a Striking Match. Good Luck Matt!!
Bisping fucking lost all three rounds that really pisses me off how the UFC copped out and gave Bisping the win just because of the homecrowd. It’s so obvious that Hamill won the fight. Hamill deserves more respect dispite representing America wrong with that gay song.
Just watched it on SPike.
I thought the judges for UFC had more character than WWE.
It was obvious that Hamill dominated the first two rounds, and slowed a little in round three, but somehow came away with a win in his home. . . coincidence, NO.
I hope UFC gets guts to go against waht is popular, and just allow the fighting to speak for itself. Otherwise we have another WWE, soap opera with sterroids.
I am so disappointed at the judges split decision making big mouth Bisping the winner. I wish someone would have told Hamill after the first round to quit being a sport and just go ahead and knock the crap out of “Cock Rock” instead of letting his arrogant tail get up off the floor. It’s a shame London had to boo such a great fighter (Hamill) instead of appreciating his talents. But oh yeah…the scores WERE even at the end, even if Bisping technically is the winner, Hamill is the true victor.
Hamill Was clearly the winner of that fight. The UFC judges have made many wrong calls lately, but this is the worst call yet. I watch every UFC fight I can and I am a dedicated fan but tonight I just had to turn it off after they called Bisping the winner. I don’t know if it was because it was hosted in London or what but UFC seriously needs to get the “real” back into the fights. I mean come on if I wanted a setup fight I would watch WWF.
ok so Bisping you lost that fight. Hamill beat u until u were black and blue and it was real nice when the crowd boo’d Hamill when he came out very classy. anyways there was some home cookin goin on in London tonight and i believe all of America and half of England knos that Hamill really won that fight! You kno u could have been humble when you gave ur “victory speech” but no u had to trash talk Hamill like u deserved to win that fight, and even though Hamill knew he got screwed he was still humble and said u beat him fair and square…bet u felt like a real jerk after that huh. well it makes me sick that you won that fight and i still think Hamill desrved that victory bc he beat u into the ground.
Absolute trash. Hamill had that fight won. I will never look at the UFC the same way again.
unbelievable bullshit
Bisping is a disgrace to the MMA WORLD!!! Hamill Won A UNAMIOUS Decision over Bisping. A blind person could have done a better job judging the FIGHT. Bisping should MAN UP and admit that he LOST in his hometown to Matt Hamill. I will not watch another UFC fight if it is broadcasted in ENGLAND. Dana White, President of UFC, should do something about this sad decision in ENGLAND!
Very disappointed in the Bisping/Hamill judges. Hamill clearly led the whole fight. Funny how the fighter from England took the win. Fight had to be fixed.
I don’t know what the two judges were watching but it wasn’t the fight. Bisping was no match for Hamill and even he knows it. Hamill beat him in all aspects of the match, even at Bispings own game. Bisping has talent but it’s overshadowed by his arrogance and stupid mouth. It’s a shame that this guy was given this fight, because he didn’t win it thats for damn sure. Matt I’m sorry you got ripped off like that and that you record has been tarnished as so. I hope you get a rematch and the chance to beat him again. I’d love to fight him myself.
UFC lost a lot of credibility today. Looks like this fight was predetermined–thank God it was free. Otherwise, UFC would have a lot more irate fans on their hands if they actually paid for this farce.
I think a 5 year old child would give Matt the win. Heck my dog would make a better decision. That was a set up. Shame on you Dana White!
matt made bisbing his bisbitch…. HE CLEARLY LOST!! Matt controlled that whole fight, AND let him up MULTIPLE times where he could have kept bisbing down on the ground game and pummeled him with those enormous punches… either matt was payed off by the britts or the judges NEED TO GET THEIR DAMN EYES CHECKED
Why would you have this fight fixed?? I don’t think the Brits would’ve stopped seeing the UFC if their boy was given the real decision. Anyone can loose. You can’t do this s#!t Dana… you have dissapointed millions of north-americans who have watched the fight. YOU SUCK, MAN UP!! You and Bisping. Don’t be surprised if your next Pay-Per-View doesn’t do as good as the previous one. Come-up with some bulls#it and apologize to the public. Come on now !! don’t turn this into boxing.
Terrible decision, just adding to the replies to the UFC understands I don’t want to see fixed garbage. Now I need to go find a Matt Hamill fan site to throw him support, because the UFC obviously doesn’t support a good fighter like him. That was like spitting in his face.
matt hamill got screwed buy them damn english judges!!!!
Hammill was robbed. He OWNED Bispbing the first 2 rounds and the 3rd was so close he damn near had it, not so sure he didnt, too. BS. If I can figure how to personally get a letter to Dana White I will because I will not be paying for another PPV unless he fixes this mess.
I think a 5 year old child would give Matt the win. Heck my dog would make a better decision. That was a set up. Shame on you Dana White!
My 10 year old clearly saw that Matt got hosed.
We have parties when PPV UFC comes on; we are so pissed off right now we’re leaning towards no longer paying for them.
We are the fans who stand at the water cooler on Monday mornings defending the sport. And now? What’s left to defend. It was rigged.
After watching that decision i almost turned off the tv and didnt watch the main event. I mean fuck, that was the gayist thing i ever say. I knew it was too good to be true to think the ufc was above that. BISBING WAS FUCKEN DOMINATED, like how the fuck did he even get points? by stumbling all over the ring and getting his face busted?
I went to the same school as Hammill. So, this was the first time I would really pay attention to an UFC fight. I have seen it before while channel flipping but never paid attention to how it would affect the results.
I really thought Hammill dominated the whole fight. He looked like he was in control about 75 percent of the time while that loudmouth Bishing was running like a mouse throwing a jab or kick while he could. But Hammill had all the blocks and grabbed his kicks for a takedown.
While I at first gave the judges the benefit of the doubt because it was indeed a close match, I still dont see why Bishing got the victory and I did suspect he had the hometown favor go his way. But for sure, I will never trust a judicial decision by UFC again. Only way to win is by KO or splattering opponents blood all over the judges’ faces.
If you think Hamil got screwed call Dana White and Write him a letter.

I’m writing, calling and emailing. Sickening. Is UFC for men or mice. We’ll see.
Doesn’t the governing body provide the judges, not the organization? Like the NSAC would employ the judges in vegas.
Genuine question, i honestly don’t know.
MATT WON THIS FIGHT HANDS DOWN, BISPING IS A PUNK, WE ALL KNOW WHO THE WINNER IS. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT DANA CAN DO TO HELP THIS BULLSHIT DECISION, BUT SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE. I WILL NOT WATCH THE NEXT UFC TO PROTEST THE DECISION, AND WILL NOT WATCH ANOTHER UFC THAT BISPING FIGHTS IN. THIS WAS BAD FOR THE UFC, THIS IS WHY I STOPPED WATCHING BOXING.BISPING YOU AREA A PUNK.NO CLASS. APPARENTLY YOU DO NOT KNOW WHEN TO SHUT YOUR MOUTH,TAKE YOUR BULLSHIT DECISION, AND WALK OFF A TRUE LOOSER.
Nice One Mikey B!
Hamill was the clear winner. I’ve never seen somebody as shocked as Bisping was when they gave him the decision. Then to have the nerve to say he’s the real winner of TUF. There is one question I have for Dana White. When did Don King get involved with the UFC? Nothing has been updated on your website. That was something that we’d expect from boxing.
Total crap decision. Hamill dominated the fight. UFC should be ashamed.
I have never seen such blasphamy in my life. I am not only a mma fighter, but I am also a fan. I have seen the Bispbing fight twice and I can’t believe they robbed Matt Hamill like that. Matt took all three rounds, unquestionably, without a doubt. I have been a huge Bispbing fan until I watched him disrespect an opponent who wooped his ass on his home turf and to hear him talk shit just made him look like a fool as far as I am concerned. Way to go Matt, I can’t wait to see a rematch. You’ll just have to make sure next time you finish him off so there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that you are a better fighter. I’m sick of everybody talking how one dimensional submission fighters are.
