WOw! I’m looking forward to this fight. I thought Bisping was going to get an easy fight, but this isn’t an easy fight. I’ll be cheering for Hamill, but I think Bisping will win. UFC 75 is shaping up to be a solid PPV. Does anyone know if the event is going to be tape delayed?

I want to see this fight, and im a big fan of both so i dont care who wins.. but i can see myself leaning towards bisping just because i want him to go on and get a better oppoent. Im not takin anything from Hamill, hes great but still just a ufc fight nite guy.. Bisping is a pay per view worthy fighter.. and should be fighting higher quality guys then matt hamill right now.

Bisping = good fighter, great overall game.
Hamill = amazing wrestler, amazing strength, amazing ground game…

I always bet on the wrestler, take down mode will win a decision. Bisping if he can unload on Hammill, but Im going with Hamill…

Bisping also cried like a bitch because Hamil was dominating him defending take downs with no hands, all you bisping nut huggers saying hamil cant throw his hands well look at the flip side, Bisping cant defend hamils takedowns and clearly recognizes that hamil is way more dominant anywhere on the ground, the only chance bisping has is to catch hamill, otherwise he will be dominated in a pretty boring fight

Bonnar v- Bisping… Hamill pulls out due to a bad batch of peanut butter, Dana calls up Bonnar to fill in.

Should be a good fight, I think Bisping can be taken, heck he almost lost his fight against the last chump when he got clocked. Still I’ll go with Bisping at this point.

I don’t think that this will even be close. Matt is going to get destroyed. Bisping handily beat Sinosic, and he’s a serious fighter. I don’t see Hamill doing the same to Elvis. I have to go with Bisping in this one. That is if Hamill doesn’t injure himself during training for the fight.

I don’t think this as much of a “protection” fight for Bisping as it is a very marketable fight, seeing as how they would almost definitely have met in the TUF 3 Finale. But you’re right in the sense that Dana and the UFC don’t want to see Bisping lose in the UK.

Finally we get to see who the real TUF3 winner should have been because if Hamils doesnt get injured that for sure would have been the final match up. By the way not quite sure why mania is calling it a rematch they haven’t fougnt each other yet.

I think Joe Silva and Dana White are trying to protect their boy again in his home country. One mistake however, Matt Hamill is going to out wrestle him and have Bisping on his back a whole lot. I can see hamill banging out a tough 3 round decision. Just another “dissapointment/upset” that the matchmakers didnt see coming.

Does anyone else seem to notice that Hamil gasses after throwing a few punches? I mean I thought big bear would help but he still seems like he’s punching in slow motion. Bisping shouldn’t have much of a problem if he sets the pace and keeps his feet moving. I agree that Bonnar vs. Bisping would be an awesome fight (barring any steroid use).

I am looking forward to this fight. Yes, I think that Bisping will dominate this fight if it stays standing. However a weak Elvis Sinosic punch almost knocked him out. During they’re season of TUF, Hammil Dominated with a capitol D Bisping in wrestling, which makes me think that this could turn out to be a fight where Hammil just lays on Bisping to try and get a descision. But I don’t think that will happen. These two dudes do not like each other, and absolutely couln’t stand each other in the house. I think Hammil is going to actually try and stand up with Bisping to knock him out for all the shit he talked. Could turn out to be a bad idea. I don’t think either of them have good chins, so the first decent punch can end the fight. Hammil’s best chance is to try and slam him to the ground and GnP from there.

Based on the history of TUF stars with star potential, I’d say it’ll be quite a while before Bisping get’s paired up against an opponent which he could realistically lose to.

Have you seen Matts stand up, yes he is a good wrestler but what have we really seen from him. Unless Matt improves drastically I think it will be a onsided fight.

Bisbing by TKO Rd 2….. then feed Bisbing to Tito….. Tito by TKO Rd. 1……remember the bad blood from TUF 3?? Bisbing was pissed Tito was giving Hammel so much attention….could work…

Elvis Stojko IS a black belt in Karate. Just thought I’d mention it. Elvis Sinosic is one of the gate-keepers to the division. Bisping had him controlled for most of the fight. That, in my mind makes Bisping a serious threat at 205. I just don’t see Bisping having a big problem with Hamill. Of course, I almost passed out with shock when Serra beat GSP and Gonzaga KO’d CroCop, so what do I know.

Hamill’s best chance, nay, only chance, is to try to lay ‘n’ pray for three rounds and hope for a decision. Bisping is a vastly superior striker, and he has some jiu jitsu and sub skills should it go the ground.

Hamill has looked horrible in all of his fights. His stand-up is a complete joke. He might be able to take Bisping down, but I’m not so sure. He can’t setup the shoot, so Bisping should be able to sprawl or drop him with a knee. Hamill’s biggest issue is he won’t use his wrestling in a fight. In all of his fights he has decided to stand and slug it out! And even if he gets Bisping down on the ground, he’ll just lay on him. Bisping has decent BJJ. I predict Bisping by KTFO in Round 1.

Matt Hamill has been improving, and I think you are right about Hamill getting KTFO by Bisping, but I say Round 2. I say Round 1 is a boring ground game by Matt Hamill, but I say Bisping when he is on the bottom will hit Hamill in the head and in the ears to make Hamill feel awful, and then round 2 Hamill is going to be scared to take down Bisping and Bisping will pop him right in his chin to KTFO of Hamill.

I like Hamill he is a good person to cheer for, but I just see him getting lit up.

Mike The Count Drakula Bisbing is goin to lose this fight. There is no way he could stop Matt Hamil’s takedown, matt hamils takedown are the same as matt hughes. So Matt is goin to dominate this match by ground and pound.

I think Hamill has looked like a powerhouse since the tv show ended. It should be a fantastic fight. Bisping is probably favored but I think Hamill will dominate.

YOU are the nuthugger. Hamil has been less than impressive. I admire his overcoming a handicap, but he has zero standup.

As far as Hamill i s concerned win or lose I been waiting for this match up. i don’t see him beating Bisping. It wasn’t going to happen then or now. Bisping is awesome. Elvis tested that chin in the second at 70 but this guy will be great in 205

The problem with Hamill is he really cant take repeated hits to the head.

He will shake him up in round 1 while on the ground and round 2 he will knock out Hamill.
Like I said, Hamill is a AMAZING person to root for in the UFC, and I always wish him the best of luck for all of his fights, but I just think his undefeated streak ends at UFC 75.

Hughes is more violent on the ground than Hamill, Hughes finishes people off quickly from the ground, when you get on the ground with Hughes you get scared, with Hamill you get nervous but there is a better chance of stand-up with Hamill, because he might just lay on you for a certain amount of time.

Dude, Sinosic has faught the who’s who in the 205 ib division. You can’t always Judge a fighter by their record. Look at Coutures win/loss record, it’s not all that impressive until you consider his opponents. I’m not saying Elvis is the man, but I am saying he’s a competent fighter - a tough guy.

Hammell is no joke for anyone in the 205 ib division. Wrestlers always stand a chance (regardless of how slim), and have proven to be very tough match-ups for strikers…who are seemingly worreid about being taken down. Still, I take Bisping in this one…convincingly.

Before coming to the UFC, Bisping fought in the UK. I don’t think there are many good fighters over there, especially when compared to UFC and PRIDE. I think he had said that Ross Pointon was one of his toughest fights prior to TUF. LOL. Bisping would not last past the first round against Shogun.

This gets back to my rant about people being so UFC-centric here. Yes, I love the UFC too. I do watch WEC, IFL and Pride when I can and UFC is my favorite organization by far. That said, people can’t just ignore the other fighters out there. If you see a name like “Shogun” Rua, try to find some video on him and imagine how the guy might do in the Octagon. I think Pride generally has better strikers and better Jujitsu. To some extent maybe the cage nullifies that edge. We will find out say when big Nog arrives, and Shogun and Wanderlei Silva even.

A friend of mine told me that he trained with Matt Hamill before and said that Hamill’s freakish strength is just ‘off the chart’. That’s probably why he doesn’t know how to spar lightly.

I just checked out Rex Holman’s background; he was a NCAA Div. I National Champion for the Ohio State while Matt Hamill who is only 3 times NCAA Div III National Champion for Rochester Institute of Technology. So, if Matt Hamill can kick Div I. champ’s, then it says a lot about his legitimacy for being in the UFC.

The same friend who told me that Hamill was even placed 4th at the U.S. Olympic trials while competing for a spot on the U.S. Wrestling team for Atlanta ‘96. At RIT, he amassed a career record of 89-3.

Beside that, at the octagon ring, he only relies on himself to execute any of his game plan without the corner’s help (due to his deafness) and Michael Bisping could probably has somebody to relay the stragety to him via audit.

Seth Petruzelli who is himself an accomplished striker. According to UFC.com website:

I’m not even an MMA fan so I don’t know that much about UFC. I was only watching this fight because as a member of the deaf community I’d heard (no pun intended) of what Matt Hamill was up to and wanted to check it out.

But I have to say two things: 1) Matt represented. I’m proud of him and he’s earned a ton of respect. 2) The UFC is obviously a joke. I haven’t seen a decision this bad since Roy Jones Jr got hosed at the ‘88 Olympics. Dana White ought to be ashamed. UFC is probably going to use this as fodder for a Bisping/Hamill II but its too late. I don’t have time for sports where the fix is in.

This is why I want a rematch. So Mike and his fans acknowledge that this fight was BS because when they announced that he won they were all cheering like he deserved it and that makes me even angrier. GRRRRRR!

This was a great fight, but the judges were blind. I liked both fighters before the fight, but Hamill kicked Bispings ass. Was the two judges paid off?

Dana Wite should be mortified at the scoring by two of the “Homer” judges in the Bisping/Hamill fight! ESPECIALLY since it was a free event and new fans were exposed to such outright graft and corruption. I was disgusted to see UFC start down the road that killed boxing’s popularity!

I have been watching boxing for thirty years and MMA for ten. This is without a doubt the worst decision I have ever had the displeasure to witness. If Dana White and the UFC are to have any credibility at all, the decision must be overturned and the judges thrown out of the organization. Absolutely unbelievable. I have also lost all respect for the commentators for not even mentioning what a bullshit decision it was. Is this what the UFC really is, rigged? Then start booking WWE performers. I agree with all the comments aboout the Hamill and Bisping fight. Hamill is clearly the winner of that fight. Bisping lost that fight no question about it. I liked both Hamill and Bisping, but I lost all respect for Bisping when he made comments about being the true UFC winner and telling Hamill to go back to wrestling. Only it was Hamill overwhelming Bisping in the first round. And in the 2nd and 3rd. Bisping didnt do jack and the judges who gave him 2/3 rounds need to be shot.

This is in regards to the Hamill vs. Bisping fight. You know as well as I do that that fight was overwhelmingly in Hamill’s favor and the judges scored for Bisping because they were intimidated by the crowd and didn’t want to get lynched. Who the hell was judging that fight anyway, I’m sure they weren’t from the Nevada State Athletic Commission like it should have been. That fight was total BS and you know it, something needs to be done!

Sure, Bisping has better stand-up technique in general, but that matters not when he is repeatedly taken down, clearly staggered by Hamill’s punches, and dominated in a superior performance by Hamill. I would love to hear Rogan comment on his true feelings on this fight. All in all, I have to laugh at this decision.

Everyone - including the judges - knows Matt won that fight. The dissenting judge scored it 30-27 for Hamill. 30-27!!!!! A shutout!! And the other judges didn’t even think he won 2 of the 3 rounds??? This seems so clearly to be a fix. It’s sad, because so many fans love MMA because it’s more ‘real’ than boxing or WWE. All the fake crap in boxing and WWE turns people off. Now we have rigged decisions in MMA? It’s just a HUGE turn off, which is what people are going to do to their TVs if this crap keeps happening.

By the way, this isn’t the first time the UFC has tried to influence a fight to help further propel the career of one of its stars. Nobody talks about it, but Herb Dean blatantly tried to help Cro-Cop, while he was actively getting pummeled with elbows by Gonzaga, by standing the fight back up. Well, the UFC really screwed itself by tampering there, didn’t they? Cro-Cop got his ass knocked out by Gonzaga’s leg kick to the head, and the UFC had to settle for a Gonzaga-Couture championship fight, instead of the huge dollar Couture-Cro-Cop fight that they wanted and were trying to fabricate by giving Cro-Cop a chance to get back on his feet and into what was supposed to be ‘his world’.

Hamill got robbed! Hamill clearly won that fight. UFC needs to re-think that decision. Rarely will I disagree with a decision, but this one was clearly WRONG! Matt was extremely humble despite of such a terrible decision.

Matt Hamil fought a great fight, maybe a little tired at the end but overall there is now way that Bisping won. Maybe it was another fight than the one they aired….. I think not. Great fight to Matt.

This is the most bs fight I have ever witnessed, I pretty sure Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant was more legit. Obviously, somebody was giving out hand jobs in the british judges lockeroom before the match (Rogan), because their minds were someplace else, not in this fight. Hamill won! Are they bringing jugdes from the WBA to the UFC? This was a real disappointment and a black mark to the UFC. Also, Rogan and the other anouncers must have been intimated by the hoolagins to not even mention the outrageous descion. They obviously gave Bisping the win since he has created such a huge market for the UFC in the UK. I was a Bisping fan and thought he was going to kill Hammill, but it was obvious that Hammill won.

Bisping was dominated from beginning to end. At no point, did he have any advantage over Hamil. Hamil landed more punches, and had him monuted for half the fight.

Gotta say I’m shocked even 5% of the serious MMA fans at MMA weekly think Bisping won that fight. In all my years of MMA that was one of the most surprising (and troubling) decisions I’ve seen. I just hate to say it, but it just reeked like those dirty boxing matches where all real fans just feel that somethings rotten in Demark (London).

Hamill won. Period. Even the 5% of serious fans saying Bisping wins, must agree that for him to say “go back to wrestling” is just laughable, just absurd.

For the first time after a couple great years, I was truly troubled by the UFC. The announcers were just weird and oddly silent. The video clip was clearly set-up for a Hamill win. If Dana White doesn’t address this in a real way, at least full, public disclosure about how their judging process is managed, I believe this will be the first major step backward for the growing UFC.

Even if it’s just the appearance of something rotten (protecting their mega UK investments via their UK golden boy) they need to address it somehow.

Dana White = Don King

At the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City, the Canadian freestyle pairs competition skaters were later awarded a second set of gold medals after the “first” set was awarded to the Russians. The Canadians scored almost perfect while the Russians fell during the competition! The Olympic committee awarded these medals to attempt to restore integrity back into the sport. It was later determined that the Russians had some sort of “reciprocity” agreement with the French judge.

The UFC may have contractual restrictions and may generate other legal repercussions by “reversing” a decision (although, if a reversal was feasible, this clearly would be a case for it).

The UFC should be working day & night in order to make some sort of “statement” that remedies this situation and acknowledges Matt’s superior, dominating performance. The UFC positions themselves as the “real deal” and Dana White has put himself out there as someone who “gives it to you straight”.

I hope they recognize the potential fallout that stems from portraying these positions and then being perceived as being hypocritical, particularly when trying to gain new subscribers and retaining a loyal fan base. As a matter of fact, by acting in an honorable fashion the UFC can spin this into a positive and gain further publicity - the “we’re not like boxing, we are above their standards” approach.

Simply by doing something, anything, that is out of the norm that acknowledges Matt is, at a minimum, in order. We, the fans, will get the point.

Michael Bisping, who was maybe dizzy or otherwise confused from the fight, should make a public statement 1) acknowledging his obvious loss and 2) apologizing for his post-fight statements. If he does not, I personally will boycott any future fight events that he participates in. I suggest that others join me.

Time to “step up to the plate” UFC.

This is easily one of the worst decisions i have seen. The first round Hamill beat Bisping with his standup, Im sure no one saw that coming, even letting the supposed superior striker back to his feet after beating him down. The look on Bispings face after the first round was priceless, a combination of blood, shock and fear. The rest of the fight it was pretty much Hamill takedowns, and Bisping backpeddling, trying to counter. I saw the fight 30-27 for Hamill myself. Maybe one sympothy point for Bisping, but for him to get a decision is just rediculous. And its a shame that the announcers at ringside didnt have anything to say about this. This is an embarasement to the UFC.

There is no way that Dana can say he combined “Pride” with his UFC - not after the Hamill/Bisping fight last night. What a joke. Hamill kicked Bisping ass. He learned how to box… took on Bisping standing up and put him to shame. When the decision went to Bisping he should have hung his head in shame. Pride? I don’t think so. And at the end of the fight when Bisping was asked to talk over the fight recap - the only thing that the broadcasters could show on the screen was Bisping hitting Hamill on the shoulder. Oooooh, that was tough. Never mind that every other bit of the fight Hamill pummeled him. (The ONLY thing that Hamill still needs to work on is his ablity to really finish off a guy off once he gets him on the ground.) Hamill fought Bisping in Bispings backyard - and in Bispings preferred style… and won every round. Who picked those judges? Jeeze, a ten year old could tell you who won that fight.

I can’t believe the lengths the UFC went to cater to London. Bisping was dominated the entire fight. Good thing they were in a cage or Matt would have had to chase him all the way to the parking lot. Exactly how does someone win a fight backing up the entire time?

The ufc needs to hold a press conference (with both fighters present) and overturn the decision it was so obviously rigged. I became a fan of the ufc because I thougt it was real and so much better than boxing but after watching that fight I am disgusted with the ufc and can’t believe Dana White let this happen.

A rematch is not neccesary or acceptable they should restore hamill’s perfect record and give him the respect he earned in that fight. FYI I am a ufc fan not a Hamill nor a Bisping fan. Bisping comments after the fight were very laughable and shows what a bad sport/person he is. Get real if you can’t admit when you’ve been beat dont brag about it either.

Logan did elude to the bad decision he asked Hamill if he was surprised by the decision which leads me to believe he was.

Anyone who cares should boycott any payper view events, I know unless they take care of this I will never buy another UFC PPV event or for that matter support any sponsers of the ufc.

I’ve been a huge UFC fan since it’s inception in the early 90’s. I love the reality of what happens in the octagon… Ive felt the last 4 years MMA and UFC as the top ring has become one of men’s favorite past times. UFC has truly been declared legitimate.
And now this Bisping decision over Hamill. I don’t even slightly buy it nor does every blog I’ve read today… I read nothing but words used such as fixed, phony, atrocious, robbed, fake, the new WWE, etc, etc.
It is my opinion that Hamill dominated all three rounds, chasing pounding and throwing Bisping around only to be handed a split decision loss. Which he excepted with class. Bisping took a beating and the undeserved win in pure cocky fashion and even had to gall to pretty much rub it in Hamill’s face.
Please Mr. White, please right this wrong… Matt Hamill deserves an apology from the UFC, the loss wiped from his record and @ the least a rematch Immediately!! Please don’t let the pour decision ability of the judges in this fight tear at the foundations of the UFC. Legitimacy is everything and at this time I have doubt over this fight.

Longtime fan of UFC since UFC 1, have spent thousands of dollars on PPV events and have NEVER seen a bigger injustice as I did with last nights Bisbing-Hammill fight! Matt clearly dominated Bisbing the entire fight. To watch the UFC judges give the fight to the hometown boy (not man, a man of would of had more class and known when he was beaten, I still can’t get over the “back to wrestling” comment!) ruined me for the rest of the night. I was so disgusted, I couldn’t even enjoy the main event! What has happened to fairness in the UFC? I question the integrity of the UFC, its judges and what the UFC stands for!

Hamill dominated every phase of the match. Unbelievable. I think it’s safe to say that the “fix was in.” They should investigate the judges to make sure that the decision was the result only of stupidity, not fight-fixing.

Matt Hamill beat Michael Bisping without a doubt. The win should be taken off his record and replaced with a loss. If this isn’t fixed, then UFC will have lost all credibility. I have yet to see/talk to anyone who actually thought Bisping came close to winning, or should have even lost by split decision. This fight should have been a unanimous decision in favour of Hamill, by 3 points.

Worst scoring i’ve ever seen, Bisping had no class about it either, he knew he lost. UFC had a great chance to gain alot of support for a great sport, what a waste, no way will i waste my money on UFC 76. does anyone have Bispings website?

After sleeping on it, I wake up and am still disgusted by the Bisping decision. I have lost respect for the UFC and will definitely not be purchasing future UFC payperviews until this embarrassment is taken care of.

This was a great fight! I was so impressed by Matt it was unbelievable! When they read the judges cards I have never been so pissed at a UFC! I can’t believe they think Bisbing won that fight. Matt dominated him the entire time. Matt had barely a scratch and Bisbing was beat up! It had to be because they were in England but this fight needs to be overturned. This is rediculous!

Last night I watched a phenominal fighter get the shaft. Going into the fight I would have been happy if either fighter had won. I liked both and thought either were capable of a clear victory. And one was, that was Matt. I was shocked and hugely impressed with his improvements since the Ultimate Fighter and was so excited to see him dominate, control and win that fight. Then the judges gave it to Bisbing who quickly jumped on the bandwagon and acted liked he did not just have his ass handed to him and started talking shit. Matt was right when he said he thought he had won that fight, he did, the judges (at least two of them) screwed him over. And yet he was gracious in loss, similar to GSP, always a standup gentleman. Bisbing is a piece of shit and I will never care to watch him fight again.

This all happened on a night when my childhood friend Dan, I call him Danny, fought Quinton. Of course I would have loved to see Danny win that fight, but am glad the judges did not screw over Quinton to give him that decision. Quinton clearly won the fight and I am sure Danny sees it that way too.

Dana White needs to hurry up and start some damage control to fix this situation. Matt is going to watch the fight over and over again and wonder why he got screwed over. I would say Bisbing would watch the fight and see he looked like the underdog who cleary got dominated but he is truly a piece of shit who would see it differently after his comments at the end of the fight. How do you sleep at night knowing you only won because of the location. If I were you I would get my head out my ass and ask for a re-match.

The UFC has served Matt Hammil a raw deal and they need to ammend the situation. Matt deserves the win.

I along with thousands of other UFC fans am totally outraged over that sham of a decision in the Bisping/Hamill fight. Matt Hamill won that fight and earned the victory fair and square. Although it is noble of you to give jobs to those two unemployed jurors from the OJ trial it looks like they botched another one. Giving favor to Bisping in a 29-28 decision while Cecil Peoples scored the fight 30-27 for Hamill is proof enough that something is rotten in London. And the only thing more disturbing than that sham is how you and everyone at UFC have not said a word about it. It is painfully obvious to us that you have manipulated the outcome of that contest in favor of a hometown fighter to broaden your pay per view base there. While we appreciate that this was a free event you must remember the hundreds and in some case thousands of dollars some of us have layed out in support of your organization here at home. Although unlikely, I am holding out hope that you will do the right thing and publicly recognize the injustice that you have brought on that young man Matt Hamill and subsequently restore the faith that many of us have lost in the integrity of the UFC.

What an awful display of class by Bisping especially considering that Hamill obviously was the victor. The UFC should be ashamed of their obvious marketing scheme. I will be boycotting the UFC unless this is made right.

Congrats Michael Bisping and the UFC, I’m switching to the IFL. At least it wan’t on PPV, or else I’d want my money back. On the night when the UFC was supposed to reach new heights in prominence as it combines with Pride, it comes accross as either corrupt or incompetent. A classless, one-dimensional chump got beaten around the ring by a class act like he had never fought a round in his life, and an inspiring contender overcoming his disability is robbed not because he’s deaf, but because the judges are blind. Or corrupt.

This is complete bullshit. All $$ for Dana White and the MMA world id going down the shitter. Rampage already admitted that PRIDE tried to pay him off. Now we have the UFC starting to look like fucking WWE!!!!!! Holy shit, whats next a ladder match, or maybe a royal rumble? Matt Hammill is truely the winner and portrays a classy fighter. In response to the above comment…… Dana does have to take some responsibility for the decision that was made last night, because of the position he holds at the UFC. We will see what he does with his “position” over this horrible decision. Hopefully he will right the wrong in some way, to save the reputation of the UFC.

Honestly, how desperate is Dana for UK fans? From here on out, I’m going to make it a point to let everybody know that UFC is rigged. I’m disappointed, disgusted, and offended. I have watched hundreds of mma fights from ufc, ifl, bodog, wec, pride, etc. and the bisping/hamill fight was crazy. hamill dominated the first round. the second in my opinion was alot closer than most will aknowledge. hamill did control the octagon and take bisping down at will but did little damage on ground. bisping kept getting up and did throw more combos while hamill mainly threw single jabs. round 2 was anybody’s. bisping dazed hamill to start the third and continued to throw combo’s while hamill just stalked. besides taking bisping down hamill didn’t do much else. the round could go to hamill because of the takedowns or to bisping because he did land more. that round was also very close so you could say hamill won but dominated the entire fight? i dont think so. if you dont agree watch the fight again and see for yourself. rampage wins a war that is way more important than this fight, and neither one of these two could do anything against jackson, henderson, liddell, rua, silva, ortiz, or the assassin. in my opinion rashad evens would crush them both easy.

That fight may have been the worst decision in professional sport. One judge scores the card 30-27 for Hamill. How the fuck is it possible that Bisping wins the fight? The audacity of Bisping accepting victory with such arrogance was sickening. What a fucking punk. The UFC must somehow overturn this decision. That was a great decision….give the win to the guy who looks the most beat up and hope know one notices. That was the most disturbing, disgusting thing i have seen the ufc judges do. Those two judges should be FIRED ON THE SPOT and the decsion reversed. UFC 75: Hamill VS Bisping was rigged. I knew something like this would happen. Anyway, all I can say is that Hamill needs better coaches. He should train with the elite - just like Bisping. Had Hamill trained with better coaches, he would’ve taken out Bisping within the first round and there wouldn’t have been any decision. My heart goes out to Hamill and all the disappointed UFC fans. He’ll do better next time.

I will not purchase PPV UFC due to the absured decision of the judges in the Bisbing vs. Hammill fight.

Here’s a thought Replay the fight on PPV with the 3 original judges but also get 3 other judges to score teh fight as it’s played. Also let the fans vote during this time.

Even Ray Charles could see Hamill kicked Bisping’s ass. I totally agree with all the comments above. They say you can’t ever leave it to the judges but damn. That was ridiculous. I attended UFC Liddell v. Jackson. Now I am done with the UFC. I am glad football season has started.

My husband has been a UFC fan for many years while I’ve only participated in watching a few of the fights. I did have the privelidge of watching the reality show and must admit that I liked both figheters equally coming into this match. BUT it is completely obvious who one last nights fight and that’s Matt. He was so humble and to hear him say that the decision was made fair and square was amazing. While Bisbing on the otherhand did nothing to give support or resepect to Matt which was clearly deserved. I intend not to watch another UFC fight until this is dealt with.

I’m a perfect example of a “new” UFC fan who watched her first and last fight last night (because it was free on t.v.) If Hamill gets his chance to beat Bisping AGAIN and get credit for it, I’ll be the first to watch and cheer on Hamill again; otherwise, UFC and I had a very short romance.

So true. . .Making a new empire in England with Bisping serving as the new amassador. The previews of new show makes the fighters look sooo pathedic and dumb and immature and undisciplined. there was a few boo’s when matt hamil came out form the English fans this was due to the fact of the trash talking that hamil had said towards bisping. of course us English fans are going to boo the fighter were against, of course we want the english fighter to win, there was a few american fans there waving american flags there was no problems no one was giving them any s**t, the booing was towards the fighter not the crowds and, really its not like he could hear us booing him is there so it was a bit pointless.

I think a one fight boycott would be a wonderful shot across the bow to Dana White to get his act in order, support his fans by fixing the judging of the UFC.

Dana White’s only two comments on the travesty so far have been that he thought Matt Hamill won 2 to 1 but then later stated that, “These controversies that come up don’t mean a thing to me and they roll off my back with no problem because I know it’s all (expletive),” he said. “We’re the top dogs and every little thing we do is news and people create these wacky (expletive) conspiracies. The bottom line is, we’ve embraced regulation, we want the sport to be regulated everywhere, but I’m not going to stop putting fights in the U.K. just because they don’t have a commission.”

Dana White is so preoccupied with the criticism of his company that he’s failing to acknowledge the root of this particular situation: that the judging for MMA is quickly proving itself to be broken.

Please post this is as many other forums as you know. Please ban the UFC for one fight, UFC 76, until Dana White makes a broad statement on rule changes and addressingthis problem.

i was there at UFC 70 at the M.E.N and yea the whole crowd went quite when bisping got caught in that submission, but he got out of it most fighter would have tapped on replays you seethe determination on his face, and then they stood up and he kick the crap otof sinosic and if it hadn’t of been stopped whe it was sinosic would still be in a hospital today. and on saturday he didn’t have such a good fight he wasn’t expecting hamil to stand up and fight he was shocked, but in the end he won on decision

Cecil Peoples is the worst judge and ref at that. He should never be allowed to judge any form of contact sport. Watch the Pete Sell Vs Nate Quarry match and you’ll see what i mean. It was the only Brit. judge to give Hamil the 30-27.

“Hello to everyone on the Underground. I have been reading the underground for years. I used to post quite a bit. Then I decided it would be better for me to stay out of all the arguments. I want to thank all of you guys for being so nice to me through the years. I have seen almost no negative posts about me here until now. I first started judging the UFC in 1996. I have been judging UFC almost twice as long as any other active judge. I am a former kick boxer and have been training grappling for 13 years. I am not here to argue with any of you or tell you that your opinion is wrong. I am only going to tell you why I judged the fight the way I did. Watch the fight again and turn off the sound. Commentary can color what you see. No doubt Hamill dominated the 1st. He hurt Bisping with a right hand right off the bat and again near the end of the round. He out scored Bisping and busted him up. It was a very impressive round for Hamill but still a 10-9 round. Not dominant enough for a 10-8. Watch the beginning of the second round closely. When Hamill throws the jab, Bisping slips the punch and hits him with his own counter jab. It is hard to see on camera because Hamill’s back is to the camera. His back was also to Goldie who was talking like the beginning of this round was like a continuation of the 1st. If you look you will see that Hamill is facing me giving me a clear view of what is landing. Bisping was landing the jab again and again and not getting hit. Hamill got 2 takedowns in rounds 2 and 3 but did very little with them. Bisping is using an active guard trying to turn for armbars and sweeps, Hamill is doing very little on top. Bisping is keeping him from scoring or improving his position. In the 3rd round Bisping actually lands more punchesd from the bottom than Hamill does from the top. In both the 2nd and 3rd rounds Bisping does more scoring. Striking. Under pride style scoring Hamill would have won. He did more damage, but it was all in the 1st round. By 10 point must system Bisping won the fight 2 rounds to 1 . 29-28 Bisping. Sometime the angle you see the fight effects your decision. That is why they put the judges on 3 different sides. BY THE WAY MARIO YAMASAKI THOUGHT BISPING WON ROUNDS 2 AND 3 ALSO. MARIO WAS THE REF AND HAD A BETTER VIEW THAN ANY OF US. I have never taken a payoff as some of you have suggested and never will. You may not agree with my decision but please don’t question my honesty.”

I got really pissed off when i saw the match. Couldnt believe what i was seeing, really. I feel truly sorry for Hamill since we all know that he should have won that bout, and seeing as he is deaf, he deserves all respect in the world for it. I had no grudge against bisping before this match, but something really needs to be done about this.

I just watched the fight for the second time. I asked a few of my buddies what they thought. The consensus in Wrestling heavy Iowa is that Hamil got ripped off. We are all very disappointed, I truly believed these past couple years that the UFC was the real deal. I do not recall any fights where the decision was biased, or flat wrong. I understand Bisbing is the only hope for England and that the Brits are a strong market for the sport. I just watched the fight for the second time and once again could not see anything that would lead any reasonable fighter/judge to see bisping as the winner. There was absolutely no point in the fight where bisping pushed forward. He was constantly retreating from Hamill. Hamill had multiple takedowns each round, some of which he just got up and LET bisping get to his feet. What’s worth more takedowns or the recovery? Hamill also proved to be a better striker. I counted only 7 power hits from bisping, most in the third round. Hamill definitely won the 1st and 2nd round. I could see the judges giving Bisping the 3rd only for his attempt to be the aggressor in the first 10 seconds and the last 30. Even after the fight they didn’t have any footage to play of bisping beating on Hamill. And to top it off, bisping unleashed his arrogance and lack of respect talking crap about Hamill after the decision. Even after that (whether he heard it or not) Hamill still demonstrated respect and gave his hats off to bisping. When I first watched the fight with 12 others, we all were shocked and disappointed at the apparent “setup”. Maybe it was a PR move to build support in London, or the judges (american) might have feared a roit. No matter what the circumstances, it all left a very very bad tarnish in the fairness and accuracy of judging in the UFCs. Dana White should be ashamed…

Wow!! I just got back from vacation and watched the replay of UFC 75. I’m shocked by the Hamill/Bisping outcome. I’m a HUGE Bisping fan, but Hamill clearly won that fight. I don’t understand how this happened because Hamill didn’t just barely win - He DOMINATED the whole fight. And by the look on Bisping’s face after the last round, he KNEW that he’d lost! But instead of being graceful, he was a jerk! Bisping - you’re a sore winner/loser.

In addition, I just read Dana White’s comments on the decision and he says that he tells everyone to just not let the fight go to the judges…. well wouldn’t it be easier to just TRAIN your judges?? The variation between the scores should embarrass Dana! In the same statement, Dana White also said that this was rematch perfect. That comment makes me think that something shady is going on. Create controvery… have a rematch… sell more tickets… nice business model, Dana! Clean up your house. There have been far too many misses in the UFC lately…. one of your fighters is carrying around an undeserved first loss!

an open letter to Michael Bisping and Dana White:
Bisping: I hope you were paid well for your part in that obviously fixed match.
Hopefully, with the money you have earned it will give you time to think about integrity and honor.
You clearly did not win your match against Hamill, but still had the lack of character to even shake the guys hand.
Hamill, accepted the judges decision and gave you respect, even though he had every right to be enraged.
Clearly the UFC has gone the way of boxing and is not interested in promoting fair fights.
At least in wrestling they admit its faked. I will no longer support the UFC in any way.
Bisping: I hope you find something else to give your life some meaning, because when youre 60, the only thing people are going to remember about you is how you took a bag of cash in a rigged match.
White: why do we need another type of “sports entertainment?” I watched the UFC because I was under the impression that it was real.
Now, how can I be sure any of the matches I have seen were real? Particularly any invoing Martinez, Hughes and Liddel?
Like I said, Im through with the UFC unless the fight is disqualified and the judges permanently banned from the “sport”.
Whats next? A “masked” fighter? What a load of crap. Thanks for nothing.

Wow! Just when I thought UFC was the only honest combat sport left! You guys robbed Matt Hamill and Bisping clearly lost.

Even the announcers were having a hard time selling the company line. I guess it would have messed up some grand plan by Dana White. The obvious is he’s trying to expand his reach into other countries for obvious reasons. It’s the same direction other sports have gone.

It just shows that UFC isn’t close what it pretends to be; FAIR. I’m a fan but if this crap keeps happening I’ll go back to watching everything else that’s fixed out there: Boxing, Wrestling and Politics!

Matt Hamill showed more class last night than all of the UFC big wigs combined. A lot of people believed UFC was different; it’s not and it’s a tragedy.

That pissed me off. I felt like I had just watched a WWE fight and half expected Vince McMahon to come strolling down the aisle with a microphone in his hand. What kind of bulls**t comment is that from Dana White? Saying you shouldn’t let the fight go to the judges. Well, no s**t, Sherlock! But if and when it does go to the judges, every fighter has the right to a fair decision. I used to respect Dana White but now I just kind of think he’s a dumb asshole.

Maybe it’ll sell more tickets and pay-per-views for him but I’m done shelling out $40 a month for UFC. I’ll keep my money from now on and Dana, Bisping & Zuffa can all kiss my ass. Good luck with your new batch of fans. By the way, they really like flashy costumes and awesome back stories. More work for your script writers…uh…I mean, judges.

Don’t blame Dana White he’s not the judge and jury here.
Hamill should have won and the damage of poor judging is done. Dana White he’s a word of advice never use those three judges again as they didn’t see the same fight and the should all be axed from the sport! A judge is supposed to be unbiased!

Just watched this fight AGAIN and I am still pissed. Matt Hamil clearly beat Bisping down, I swear if I see another fight like this go to the judges and they screw the underdog I will never again watch UFC. I can find other things to do like watch “Pro” Boxing aka pillow fighting.

My name is Burt Wright. I love MMA. I love all combat sports. The simplicity of two combatants enter and 1 victor emerges is a special thing to me. I feal like I have been cheated. This fgight wasn’t even close. This outrageous crap is going to be a much larger blight on the sport than just a few angry fans. I finally got my brother and a few other friends to sit and watch. Everyone was so excited and I thaught they were surely going to be fans for life. Then the Hammill/ Bisping bullcrap happens. Immediately 5 guys all lost all interest in UFC instantly. WHY WHY WHY WHY? You guys sold out our sport and for what? The UK? Do you really think this is the way to globalize the sport? By creating a paper champion whos claim to fame will allways be a fixed fight? i have always turned my friends on to the sport based on the respect of the fighters, the truth of the war, but that fight made my stomach turn… I never want the ufc i evangelize to cater to back door politics and cash… this was egregious especially given hey were in london and worried about honoring a deaf american as a champion. is it down to damage control dana?

I was just watching a re-run of UFC 75 and what a fucking joke. Bisping is a joke. Hamill kicked his ass from the start. Give me a break. The Bisping vs Evans fight that occurred a few events later would have been better with a Hamill vs Evans fight!

Just watched a re-run and saw firsthand what all the guys in my shop were bitching about. That decision was a complete fix - total joke - and made a mockery of UFC. Never had a feeling either way about Bisping - but now WE ALL KNOW he is a jackass.

Bisping lost the fight on 75 hands down. I just watched the re-run again on Spike and still cant even believe what I saw. UFC said it best when talking about how “marketable” Kongo will be….its all about dolla dolla bill. The fact that UFC was in the UK is why Bisping won the fight. I just saw a rerun of the Bisping/Hamill fight, and am absolutely shocked that the outcome was not contested by Hamill’s camp to the full extent of the law. Zuffa should be ashamed of even re-airing this fight as the decision is so controversial that even the most steadfast fans should question the UFC’s credibility. This should trigger market erosion not unlike boxing in the 90’s.
