UFCmania is thrilled to announce our collaboration with Luke Thomas – of BloodyElbow.com and WhoopAss radio fame – to offer the first online radio program that covers UFC events before and after each show.
“Any Given Saturday” will let UFC fans discuss the pay-per-view (PPV) fights and Ultimate Fight Nights LIVE on the air, as well as hear exclusive interviews with the top mixed martial artists in the sport past and present.
Former UFC welterweight contender and one-time ICON middleweight champion Frank Trigg will check-in from time-to-time during the half-hour, two-part show, and his company Triggonomics is on board as the radio call-in show’s title sponsor.
In fact, the always controversial “Twinkle Toes” Trigg will stop in this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET for the inaugural episode to share his picks for UFC 72: “Victory,” which airs on PPV at 3 p.m. ET.
But that’s not all: BetUs.com, which is among the most trusted sportsbooks in the world, has also been kind enough to show its support with some cash giveaways to a few lucky listeners.
Don’t doubt either that we won’t have a few other surprises in store for listeners.
Luke – perhaps the hardest working “part time” MMA blogger, writer, ringside color commentator and radio personality – will be the host of “Any Given Saturday.”
So how do you tune in this Saturday?

Nice collabo – MTU will like this as a passionate BloodyElbow reader/member
I’d call in, except on weekends the price for an international call is the same than any other given day when you are calling out of europe.

Congrats Mania….
Congrats Mania. It seems like this site is growing, right along side the sport itself.
Hah, I had a freaking feeling this is what Luke was gonna do. VERY COOL. My favorite two bloggers working together.
).
Was this the result of the poll on Bloody Elbow? I liked the Around the Horn idea a lot. I’m gonna plug Jesse for the third slot. Luke and Mania get along to well, you need so tension, and with the way Jesse and Mania never agree, Luke would be the perfect straight man in the middle ( not that Luke doesnt like to stir the pot
To all UFCMania readers, please tune in this Saturday. With all of the other weak ass MMA radio shows out there, I was waiting for someone to come along to replace the Late Great Ryan Bennett. These guys could do it.
Peace. MTU. Okay, back to training for this Saturday. Thank God my test is at 4pm. I aint buying this shit card anyway.
MTU: did you heared about the bad news mate?
Kang is allegedly close to signing a deal with bodog. While this may allow for fights in the alliance of Cage Rage, Strikeforce, HERO’s, and so on, I really hoped he’d come to the UFC and tear his weightclass apart.
Thats definitely an awesome idea guys, I’m highly anticipating hearing the show on saturday. You guys always do a great job on the site so im sure the show will the tight. Good work and congrats

Yeah, man. “Kang is in heavy negotiations with bodog.” FOOP had the story yesterday. Apparently the contract they offered Soko made Hendo laugh at them, also. Rumor is that another big name fighter in the UFC may be leaving for more money after his next two fights are up. I’ll email ya the name. For his status, he makes less than Bisping does. Sorry guys, but enough in the trough to make this horse drink yet.
Well, bodog certainly has the financial backing to get alot of the good free agents out there or (in the case of the unnamed fighter) lure them before they re-sign a new contract.
Production quality is decent, the only thing that annoys me are the locations, as St.Petersburg and Costa Rica and not exactly close nor tourist attractions, so I have another excuse to go there. If bodog signs Fedor, then they might as well get Barnett and build a strong HW division as their unique selling proposition.
The Barnett to bogog thing has been around for awhile. But remember Fedor and Barnett wont fight each other, so it’s one or the other. Barnett may get stuck in Japan doing Japanese pro wrestling with Cole-man and Randle-man, the dynamic duo.
Sounds good cant wait to tune in.
Hey Mania how do I call from England and listen and that.

Sorry man. If I had enough to go on, I’d send it to Mania so he could decide what to do with it.
Ok, I’m at the webstie to listen, but there is no “listen now” button or anything? What gives?
Waiting for host to start the show.
I’ve waited all week for this… What’s going on. I feel like stunnilator waiting for his signed Tim Sylvia glossy…
Is on now.
Screw you Jesse!
Lol, I’m still laughing.
Where the hell is Tom?
Screw you Jesse!
