You guys all rag on Royce and some of you applaud Frank Shamrock. The truth about Frank is that he has snorted so much coke that he should be part owner of Columbia….but thats OK right. Gracie was just trying to stave off the effects of aging but hes the bad guy…yeah right.

Royce was 40 years old when tested positive for steroids. So no his “natural” occuring testosterone wan’t high. Also if it was high how come he didn’t test positive in the past? so no…. Also nandralone isn’t prduced in the body only andro is.
p.s that is why it is an illegal substance. But Royce was a good Martial artist and grappler i don’t know if he was a good fighter since i only saw him throw like 1 punch in his whole “career.” ANd by the way it is cheating if it is against the rules in the sport.

It is said that legends get to the top naturally but as they grow old they rely on steroids to compete with the younger generation.

Just for people who think that Royce Gracie naturally produced those anabolic steroids (Nandrolone).

Why do you think he accepted the judgment of being fined and suspended? He obviously knows he took steroids, and knows that he has been found out. If he did not take steroids and was tested positive, he would’ve fought back and argued against the judgment. But he didn’t. He was tested, the test was positive, and Royce accepted his punishment.

Royce tested positive for a substance that occurs naturally in high testosterone people. How many MMA and Brazilian jiu-jitsu fights has Royce had? I would think that the human body would produce produce more of this substance every time he fought and got the adrenalin pumping. Matt Hughes pounded Royce but Hughes is a wrestler that being said he has sucked weight his whole life he can probably have a 25 lb swing in the 36 hours between weigh in and fight Royce was 176 the tale of the tape said Hughes was 170 he always looks 190 to me every time in the octagon. These guys train for this because its their job Matt Hughes man handles everyone because he has the size advantage. If you weighed him today he would be minimum 185 thats another weight class. Royce made this sport in America hes the only one Tipper couldn’t attack!

does this testing positive mean anything to what ROYCE did for mma. ROYCE is responsible for bringing the art of jiu jitsu to mma in 1993 against Art Jimmerson. From 1993 til today hes fought and tested clean. So someone smart not just any idiot please tell me why in the hell is he legacy “tainted”

They should just let them use roids if they want to. It would set some bad ethical examples but maybe Gracie would just load up and buld up to get his ass kicked by Liddel?
