GSP is one of my favorite fighters, but he lost, and he lost to the better fighter that night. As for Serra calling Hughes a name, well some agree with him. Serra is just as bad as Hughes, and will not be champ for very many fights (I would say for not very long, but the UFC feels it imperative to make us wait for and ungodly amount of time). As for Forest, I love that guy (in a non man love way). His myspace has some of the funnest pics of him on it. Fighters get hit in the back of the head all the time by accident, frequently I hear Big John saying watch the hits to the back of the head. As much as it pains me to admit this Gsp lost period, no one should make excuses for it, they exchanged, gsp got hit and hurt, serra did a perfect job of keeping the pressure on and got the win. I have to admit it I've been quite a suck myself about Gsp losing, and really have done a dis service to Serra by saying it was a fluky win. I feel sorry for Serra he conquered Goliath and he's still getting shit on. I've watched a couple of his fights lately, the Karo and Penn fight and am starting to change my views on his abilities. Big John was right when he said most were underestimating Serra, he is a very tough guy and hits very hard he just gassed out with Karo in the second and third round and with Penn it looked very close, almost a draw. Of course I'm not trying to say he's a better fighter than Gsp but he's better than most( including myself) give him credit. Unfortunately Serra beat a very beloved fighter who has set a new record for man crushes so I think it was more for that reason people are so hard on him.
