Ths fight takes place on tonight’s episode. Don’t know what its about.situation of “street brawl” whoever is involed to should kicked off the show..don’t get mw wrong it will make for good ratings and all, but is this the image the UFC is looking for? If this isn’t handled properly it will send a negative message to the kids..”hey its OK to learn MMA and get into fights to see who’s the man. I hope that’s not true

yeah kick the dude w/o the shirt off the show, and never let him fight in the UFC……but this is a prime example of why every man should have a little knowlegde on how to fight…if the guy with the shirt knew absolutely nothing about fighting, and some psycho just attached him like that, he would be destroyed and maybe really hurt…ive seen that bullshit to many times, i dont know what happend between these 2 guys, but there are guys out there who think they are badass and just attack people

Completely agreed, MMA has a hard enough time trying dispell the public’s opinion of MMA as some thug fight. This is what is going to suck about this sport as people like Chuck Liddell, Randy Couture and other ambassadors for the sport start to retire. You have all this younger fighters getting into MMA and really don’t understand the true discpline, honor and intergrity that should be displayed by a Mixed Martial Artist.

I hope they leave him on the show so everyone will keep making fun of him.

How stupid is this? Off the show, and out of the UFC. Ba-bye.
After the vid was over, it said “You also might like:”
and it showed the drunken David Hasselhoff video.

So if you like watching a lying, losing, Muay Thai guy sucker punch someone, you may also like watching a washed up alcoholic actor falling off the wagon hard.

The other video was of a parachutist not parachuting, but free falling.

Does this guy realize that there is a chance he could fight again and possibly win the show? Some of these guys dont realize the opportunity they have. Before it was Andy Wang crying and moaning about how he has a commitment to BJ. BJ HATES YOU! YOURE LUCKY TEAM PULVER PICKED YOU UP,SHUT UP AND TRAIN!! I seriously have more respect for a dude like Weems than I do for Wang or Marlon. Granted Weems has no skills but it seems like he really tried and wanted to win. Man these guys piss me off.

The reason they’re on TUF is to try to get the chance to fight in the UFC, now, I doubt either of them will. Shame for Noah ’cause he seems to be a nice guy. Marlon……well, Marlon seems to be full of crapola. No matter what Noah said, there is no way that Marlon should have reacted the way he did. From Marlon’s attitude on the show, how he carries himself, what comes out of his mouth when it’s opened. Plus he lost BAD, I’m not shocked that this happened, I’m going to see tonight what went down..just from the clip it looks retarted.
MMA doesn’t need that..Humanity doesn’t need that. The Geico Caveman is more adept to our society to date..We should put Marlon and his backyard brawler types buddies in Doc’s time machine and drop them off anywhere between the dinosaur age and the stone age..I’m sure him and his boys would feel right at home.

I think this portrays the UFC in a poor light, which is unfortunate because most people in MMA are very professional and respectful people. I have seen people get into fights over all kinds of stupid stuff, but these guys are on the show because they are athletes trying to make a name for themselves in a growing sport.
I hope the UFC suspends street fighter for at least a year, and I would be fine if they banned him as well. As for Noah, it seems like he was just defending himself, so they should not punish him.
I don’t have any respect for people who fight over nothing, nor do I respect punks who suckerpunch someone. Street fighter is an emabrrasement, and he has disgraced himself and, unfortunately, in the eyes of those unfamilar with MMA, tarnished the UFC as well.

IMO, some of you are overreacting. What we saw was the equivalent of what “slap-boxing” would be for untrained guys. Marlon acted immature by cheap-shotting Noah, but does anyone really think that was a “street-fight”. If Marlon and Noah had been fighting all-out, at least one (and maybe both) of them would have gone to the hospital. Give them more credit than that. They train everyday, so they know how to go at 70% or 80% and not hurt each other.

Dana will chew their butts, but no one is going home for that. It’s the 1st time, and no one got hurt, for crying out loud.

It is a street fight and yes they suck but they do happen quite often. U have no idea wat the other guy is goin to do to u. He can knock you out and keep bashing ur face in while ur unconsious. He can grab a weapon, kick u in ur face, anything. You have to do what u have to do to end the fight witout getting seriously injured. its sucks but thats they way it goes.

I have a clean criminal record and have never been to prison and want to keep it that way. Yes longislandguy you right if are in a serious brawl you have to do what you have to do to defend yourself but it would only be self defence if it was me.

If you are willing to slam someones head on to concrete, then you better be willing to go to jail too because that’s where you will end up if you end up paralyzing or even killing them. It wasn’t a life or death situation and there were plenty of people around to stop it.

At the same token, you should probably never try an arm bar or even pulling guard on concrete just in case you happened to be fighting someone who doesn’t really give a sh*t what happens to you.

MMA wants to be mainstream, the image of that fight makes what it much harder to achieve. Number2 Dana needs to make an example that this behavior will not fly..slap the hand today, the next season someone gets their nose broken in the backyard. Then it clicked to me that these 2 dudes showed what a brawl is on the street’s, not what an actual schedueld event is. Profesional events take time to prepare, it’s not just 2 fellows fighting in the Backyard…. You guys shouldn’t confuse the Backyard Brawl with a Profesional Event. These 2 guys just had a problem and that happens everyday…After all were just human..so don’t be quick to start looking down on M.M.A. just cause 2 guys had differences.

Probably a few are on video somewhere. I am not a street fighter, just had my fair share. I may have some sort of social disorder, or I may just get targeted for some reason. I tend to enjoy messing with the guys who I see messing with dudes who are obviously not the fighting type. Also, college football players need to be put in check quite often. Fire thier ass’s out.

I think it should be like a double elimination to get out of house… First loss your out of the competition, second your out and cant be a back-up fighter.

That would cut usless people out of the house and keep the cream of the crop. And it would give us three fights to watch every two weeks.

And it would give you the top 3…

You’ve obviously never been in a real street-fight. This was not anything close to an all-out brawl. Noah got up with all his teeth intact (with no mouthguard), and no one had noticeable cuts, bruises, etc.

Obviously Marlon kicked Noah, but it wasn’t a soccer-kick with Doc Martens on. He kicked him from 3 inches out with the flat of his foot. Marlon also dropped him (about 6 inches) onto his neck, upper back–not his head. That’s not enough to cause serious injury. These guys know how to inflict damage when that is the goal. Some of you haven’t been in a fight if you think these guys were really trying to destroy each other.

So in the heat of the moment, the fight, there obviously pissed at each other, and Marlon thinks to himself “well, I better just drop him on his kneck, don’t wanna get to crazy”
Man, thats just rediculous. And unless he curled with his arm the weight of noah, how was he gonna lift him any higher anyway? It’s hard when somebody is trying to break your arm. Not every streetfight has guys coming out with missing teeth and heads. A couple suprise punchs were thrown that didnt land and thats about it. Then he fell and Marlon threw a quick kick, he’s not gonna back up, set up, and kick like its a soccer ball, so yeah, it wasnt a very strong kick. It only lasted for like 10 seconds so there wasnt a lot of chance for someone to get realy hurt. But Noah made an audible yell the second time I think he was slammed, it did hurt him and he stopped really fighting and just said “get the fuck off me”.
These guys were trying to hurt each other, bottom line, or at least Marlon was trying.

Someone will be kicked off. That is one of the rules. No fighting outside of the octagon.

Part of being succesful in anything is the ability to control your emotions. That is even more crucial when you are trained in MMA and are capable of hurting or killing someone based on your technique and training. In this case you have a punk who clearly has no future in the sport of MMA acting like an asshole. He has probably cost himself any shot he has of ever fighting in the UFC, as well as losing the respect of true practioners of martial arts.
Noah is lucky that street fighter chose to stop his assault, or he could have been badly hurt. I also think it was pretty shameful that the other guys did not break it up. If something like this happened between training partners in a gym or a dojo (at least the ones I know) this would have been broken up in a second and streetfighter would have been ejected.

maybe they’ll fight in the octagon and the loser goes home. I’ll have to see the whole show to see what all actually happened sort of like the Leben/Southworth/Koscheck incident.

That’s assault & battery caught on film. Forget being kicked off TUF, Noah could easily press charges. Just plain lame of Marlon in my opinion, any decent fighter I know, knows to stay away from streetfights – and that was a weak cheap shot to start it out too. I have no respect for this guy.

I usually sit back and watch the postings but I feel too strongly here. This is what you get when you put a bunch of disrespectful, adolescent choads in a house together. Look, man. Look at how these clowns act when they’re just chillin’. This season makes me sick. The fights aren’t even that good. I don’t see what was so spectacular about the Diaz fight. Looked like he wanted to hold hands. Ultimate fighting not Ultimate Hugging. I ain’t even watching tonight. I refuse to support this season.

Could you imagine for one second Joe Lauzon (sp?) getting involved with that sort of sillyness? Not only does the kid have sick skills, but his head is screwed on right besides. That kid’s going to go places. The majority of the other guys I could honestly do without.

Highlights of the Dana White Press conference this morning.

Props out to Mr Mad Squabbles, the man behind Bloody Elbow.

*He is not interested in promoting a boxer vs. MMA fighter match because he knows what will happen, unless it’s with a boxer the caliber of Floyd Mayweather. Said he had never even heard of Cintron as a boxer and has no interest in him.

*He confirmed negotiations are back on with Kurt Angle. He said Angle tells him he’s serious and if Angle is serious, he’s interested. He said he doesn’t waste his time talking about deals that he thinks are going nowhere, but he also thought he had Angle once in the past.

*Said nothing new to report on HBO. But now he wants to control the production again, but still thinks a deal will be made

*Said in the end, they would finalize the Pride sale and promote shows in Japan. He said their business was a mess and it wasn’t run as a business and it’s taking a lot of time to sort it out.

*There will be a major main event announced at the end of UFC 71. It will involve the Chuck Liddell vs. Quinton Jackson winner and a challenge that will be issued for a dream match scenario. It will be the first so-called Super Bowl match (my words not his). At another point, White talked about Shogun Rua being signed, but our impression is that it’s another match. Doing the math, the opponent they are talking about is probably one of these three names–Wanderlei Silva, Dan Henderson or Rua.

*When a reporter brought up Tito Ortiz thinking that since he’s on Dana’s bad side that he won’t be getting a title match, he said, Tito was a pussy and he needs to show up and fight Rashad Evans.

*He questioned Georges St. Pierre’s mental toughness, saying he was so nervous backstage before the fight with Matt Serra. Said his physical ability is second to none. ( Damn, who else has been saying this…. )

*Said he expects to run a live event in Mexico in early-to-mid 2008

*Said it was disgusting that New Jersey sanctioned the Ray Mercer vs. Kimbo Slice fight

*Ripped on Oscar de la Hoya as a promoter saying he should have loaded up the undercard, but respects him great for his ability to draw and said he expected 1.4 million to 1.65 million buys

*Said that before the Koscheck fight, that Diego Sanchez was diagnosed with Hepatitis C. At first he was planning on announcing his retirement before the show, but further tests revealed he didn’t have it, but they didn’t know what it was. Said after the fight with Koscheck he was finally found to have had a major staph infection, explaining his inability in the ring that night.

*On IFL, ‘It’s a retarded concept.’”

since when are there rules in a streetfight? Its ok to kick someone who is on the ground after you sucker punched him, but dont you dare go for an armbar.

I think you are forgetting that when these guys start fighting. They fall back on their training, which is, you know, to fight.

On another note, most street fights are kind of sad. Its kind of interesting to see how a trained fighter fights in a street fight.

All you guys complaining about the concrete remind me of when Royce or Royler were facing that kickboxing guy in a straight up fight and the Gracie slaps on a RNC and the guy starts complaining he cant breathe. Ah, and what’s the point of this again?

I did not want to post on this until I watched the footage on the show. I agree with the outcome, and as far as sucker punches and soccer kicks, well there are no rules when you are being dumba**es who want to fight for free.

Shit happens, and I have been in a few “scuffles” and seen many fights. Everyone wants to say, “you don’t throw an arm bar in a street fight,” but I will tell you right now, if you get a chance, and you bust that guys arm I bet the fight ends there. These guys are two fighters put into a situation where they have been beaten, and now they do not give a shit. It should not have happened, but it did, and I thought it made the show that much better tonight.

As for not supporting the show, I can see that side of it also. But I would like to say that without the support then no-one can see that we “MMA” are taking steps to weed these guys out, and there will be consequences.

Oh and I noticed the Josh Haynes posting, is that really you?

Probably a few are on video somewhere. I am not a street fighter, just had my fair share. I may have some sort of social disorder, or I may just get targeted for some reason. I tend to enjoy messing with the guys who I see messing with dudes who are obviously not the fighting type. Also, college football players need to be put in check quite often. It is good exercise too. I’m a professional and a family man now, so I keep myself in control. DRUNKEN street fights tend to be sloppy.
Zuffa has final edit on this show.
The water coolers are abuzz….did you see the show last night.
If TUF was a serious image maker for the UFC would there be booze in the house?
Cut a ten minute sequence out of a 24 hour period and you have your hook for the
next exciting broadcast.
