Yes, quite a bit of advertisements.

Basically, Quarry was told by Team quest that he just wasn’t important and wasn’t necessary for the team.

He was apparently told that he was “tearing the team apart” and that his ego was the biggest at the gym and he was “no longer welcome.”

He now trains at Impact jiu-jitsu in Beaverton, Oregon.

Probably a whole nother side to this story, but that’s what Quarry pretty much said in a nutshell.

He also said he wants to return in August.

I respect that he only gave their reasons for why he was booted from Team Quest. Someone like Tito (hes not the only one but he comes to mind) would have used the interview to talk shit about his former team.

I’ve been waiting to see Nate fight again. He was out for a long time with back surgery and his website said he would be back in the Octagon this year. Okay, Rich Franklin knocked him out (and Serra knocked out GSP). Don’t discount the guy based on one loss. In his other fights Nate hammered guys. I’d really like to see him in there soon.

I’ve only seen this guy loose 2 fights. Damn shame, this guy has talent and character. Team Quest is going to shit. Dan Henderson better squeeze that belt real tight and hope it doesn’t slip away! Matt Lindland sucks now, Randy is doing his own thing and now Nate is gone. Maybe this sheds some light on why so many have had problems with this team from Oregon.

I already explained it in the comments section when readers just wanted the recap. So I don’t know what more “this poster” wants from me. Complaining after I corrected the problem for no other apparent reason than just to complain seems rather “piss poor.”

Had you corrected the problem the recap would be posted on your main page, readers should’nt have to sift through your comment section to figure out the story. Also this is something you do frequently… please just post the recap under the story headline, just a little constructive critisism, like the site, like the ufc fightenkings too.

Hey any chance of the UFC fighter rankings going to top ten? I like the company specific rankings, that way you can look forward to match-ups that can acctually happen.

umm lets not bash ufcmania because of this site i have became 100% more of a fan of ufc (and i thought i was pretty big before hand) and im sure people can agree wit me. They do a great job keeping us up to date wats goin on and to critize them is just ignorant and stupid. If u dont like it dont come to this site.

How do you listen to the audio on this thing?

I’ll continue to read the site, I think the site is good actually. My problem is seeing a headline that really interests you and below there is only a picture and thats it. Then you go to read the article or listen to the audio and its not there or takes half an hour to get to. Why cant the article be posted below the pic or at least a summary of the article.

Wouldn’t it be great if the UFC brought both Evan Tanner and Nate Quarry back at the same time and have them fight each other??? I think it would be a GREAT fight….What u think???

I agree. In this post specifically, I think it would have been good if you gave us a short summary about what happened in the interview and gave us a head’s up as to where the Quarry-related chunk of that show or podcast or whatever it was was.

Sokoudjou just KO’d Antonio Rodrigo Noguiera and Ricardo Arona who are both Top 10 in the MW/LHW division.

Matt Lindland lost to the best fighter in the world..big deal..he is still one of the top 3 MW’s out there.

Jason Miller has started training with Quest and more than makes up for the loss of Quarry.

UFC Junkie sucks. What the fock is up with the hating? Mania takes constructive critism if its thoughtful and accurate. This is the #1 UFC specific site on the internet. UFCMania built it on his own, struggled through the times when there were no comments and no readers. And a year later this site is #1 with 14000 page views PER DAY!!!!!

Ya know what MTUFC I take it back. He has not accomplished anything in the UFC. And not alot of people know who he is. I highly doubt he would face CHuck if Chuck lost. I also disagree, have not seen anything that makes me think this guy could beat Chuck, Chuck’s striking power and skill is a level above anything this guy knows.

Youre gonna be suprised. I’m telling you. You know what kind of fighters I like, and this guy isnt in that mold, so why do I like him so much? He fights smart, he analyzes his opponent well, has a great chin, good power, great ground game for a Kempo/Karate guy, and he’s accurate as hell. There is nothing wrong with winning by decision as long as the fighter keep tryin to finish, unlike AA or Poopie.

Undefeated, touche, however, he hasnt faced much real competition in HIS weight class, sure Franklin could pass as a LHW, but you know what I mean, a real natural LHW.

Ok…guys, this article is about Quarry..not about how bad ufcmania is or who’s going to win the Liddell/Rampage fight. And all you pigs that think this site sucks..dont come here then and get your info somewhere else. The guy that does this works hard to keep us up to date on things so instead of bitching about it, you should thank him. And that is NOT sucking..thats called being grateful.

Quarry is a great fighter and has great potential. I don’t think its right for team quest to give him the boot after being with them for so long…getting over his injuries and training hard for his comeback this year. Something is going on…but I have a feeling Quarry was the one being shafted. Some dickhead in management is probably jealous and doesn’t like him…simply put. Quarry is buddies with just about every guy that trains there.

Enough about that..he will do better without them where he is training now. Everyone better watch out because this guy is going to do another title fight one day and he will be the one knocking the other guy out.

I’d really love to see Nate back in action, I believe with his hands he could wreak havoc in the division
